Walgreens pharmacy "lost" critical anti-rejection meds for a transplant patient, allowed fed ex who delivered it to pick it back up and leave with it. They expressed NO regret or concern at the risk they put the patient in. The pharmacy manager offered no assurance that it would be replaced in time and gave no options. The lack of concern was incredible.

*Pharmacy Review* I have had scripts sent to this pharmacy a few times…. The first couple of times lacked some luster for me. On more than one occasion they closed early with no notice. But recently was the last episode I will have with this pharmacy.If you have a script sent there and they don’t have it on the shelf they won’t even curtesy call you to let you know. So you’ll drive into town or across town thinking that you’re picking it up, wait in line for 45 minutes, to then be told that the medication won’t be in for a week, when the script is of urgency. So you ask what your options are, to only have them tell YOU to figure it out! So you ask for the script because it was electronically sent to them, which they won’t do. So if you get there after clinic hours, you are out of luck. Absolutely disgusting! After another hour and a half I manage to get my script transferred to a different pharmacy, with absolutely no help or even an ounce of kindness from anyone that works there.Be advised, don’t waste your time, money or energy at this location when it comes to filling your prescription.

Very spacious, easy access, isles are easy to identify you can get everything for the home and personal care. Staff seem a bit slow in service ethics, none the less they are polite.. Great location..

Pharmacy Review. I am editing my review to increase rating from 1 to 3 as I eventually discovered part of the problem was due to Medicare.There are a couple polite and helpful staff and they deserve a rating of 5 but the vast majority don't have a clue how to help you with a problem, are rude, or just can't be bothered. No help at all. These people should not be in a customer service job. I realize they are often understaffed and overworked but that is not an excuse to be rude with the customer. We have been to Walgreens in other locations and other states and typically get 5 star service. This location has serious issues and management needs to pay attention to the issues.

AWESOME STAFF and selection. Aloof customers are reason there are issues in the checkout line occasionally. It’s them and not the store about 99.9 percent of the time. Good location/ products and prices. Just enter your phone number on the pin pad… not rocket science!!

Usually only go here to print photos. I've had excellent experiences up until recently. A lot of my photos have been cut in a weird way, and a lot of the time half of the image itself is cut off too when that happens. I have so many printed pictures that I cannot use because of this.

We have tried to use this pharmacy for years. They continuously screw up 24 hours before you get your medicine. It's unreal. I use pharmacies all over the area and I have never had such horrible service this time my wife needs heart medicine. She sent it there 24 hours ago and they still have nothing on it. She needs the heart medicine

3 times there has been " no pharmacist on duty".Ive witnessed staff telling elderly people that they can get their scripts at a different walgreens (little falls). If im struggling to pay for gas to drive there i can only imagine for someone on a fixed income who more than likely needs their meds to live.I get being short staffed but as a service to customers they should at least let people know they can get their scripts that day or at least list correct hours on their website. When they do follow their hours they are only open until 6pm. Some of us dont live in town and get off work at 5pm. They also dont always have meds in stock and only offer 5 day supplies. Such a shame what this place has become.

Have been terrible as of late. We've been using them for 10+ years but seriously considering switching all of our families medications to a new pharmacy...I will probably do so tomorrow honestly. It's one thing when it takes 3 days to fill a recurring med, at least I can plan for that. But when it takes just as long to get an acutely prescribed medication...that can be dangerous. Sorry, my kids are not going to hang out with strep throat for 3 extra days while you get your ish together. Good way to end up putting your patients in the ER and hospital...

I have been trying all weekend to get my prescriptions, however they are closed! No notice. Sign up saying no pharmacist on duty. Where is the communicaiton with their patients? I work 10 hour days during the week! The only way I can get my prescriptions are on weekends.

Have been using this pharmacy for 10 years. Last few months they stopped filling prescriptions in a timely manner. It has taken over 3 days to get prescriptions filled have been out of some of medications for a week now, not because they are out but because they simply are not filling prescriptions. Try to call and have been on hold over 40 minutes only to have it finally go through to a person and hear them pick up the phone and slam in down hanging up on me only to call back wait another 30 minutes hear them pick up and immediately put me on hold for another 10 minutes then have it ring back to them and hear them pick up the phone and slam it down. They use to run both drive through lanes but have been closing the second one and generally ignoring drive through at the window. Have waited up to 15 minutes on multiple occasions just for a person to answer me at drive through both with and without people inside waiting. Have had to wait 45 minutes to even get to the window. I I am currently looking for a new pharmacy. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.

I wish they had a no star to put in the rating! Terrible, Terrible service! On hold on the phone for an hour when you want to talk to someone. I went there yesterday to get my prescription and the whole Pharmacy was closed! No pharmacist on duty? Seriously? Went another time a while ago and the whole store was closed due to a staffing issue. Only reason to go to this store for prescriptions is the drive through….. which is the slowest ever! Bad… Bad shame on you Walgreens in Brainerd!

I love the new pick up feature! They should have been doing this for years.I feel like Walgreens could really improve during this pandemic, utilizing the drive-thru and the pick up options. That way they wouldn't be putting their staff at risk, there is a pharmacy, sick people are there daily. It isn't necessary for them to be fully open and it shows they don't care too much about their employees. Always the same people, they seem cheerful and very helpful, but you can tell they're overworked. Walgreens, do better for your employees.

Apparently it the customers falt for the pharmacy hrs not being right. The internet says they open at 9 but they actually open at 10. After waiting for a half hr I finally ask the front check out when they open cause the sign they had said 9. She gave a snotty response and made it like it's my fault for not knowing better. I drove over a half hr to get my prescription and now have to wait over a hr to get it. Sorry I couldn't see your updated schedule on the front door from my house. Maybe you update your website before changing your hrs.

Worst pharmacy I've been to in my entire life!!! They screw up billing our insurance companies every time. They don't order the brand's our insurance pays for and then presents us with a large bill. Not knowledgeable with what insurance companies will pay for at all. Horrible rude staff. Update: I switched to target pharmacy n ordered the same meds Walgreens kept saying insurance won't pay for.....What do you know!! Insurance paid for it. No long lines or hassle. In and out in 5 minutes. Should have switched long ago

I disregarded the harsh reviews about the pharmacy and I'm SO glad I did. I was a new client with scripts in hand to be filled. It was Friday of a holiday weekend and I was prepared for a hassle and wait, but there was neither. The gals were all so kind and full of smiles. I conversated about some concerns and they took care of everything with no hassle whatsoever. I happily waited the 15min and my meds were ready. They could not have made it easier or faster. Informative and accommodating. Walgreens Brainerd Rocks and they have more than earned my forever business. A huge thank you to them!!

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. They absolutely refuse to work with their customers, have no sense of urgency when it comes to medications, especially antibiotics in a child! Staff completely lacks empathy and understanding. I wouldn't go back there if they were the only place to get medications in Minnesota, I'd rather drive to Wisconsin. The manager even refused to get on the phone and discuss an issue with his customer, what a great way to run a business buddy.Everything health care shouldn't be...You'll find it here.

Worst pharmacy ever! The gal with curly hair is beyond rude and their is no rush or sense of urgency I am amazed she still has a job their. It is not hard to see that I have 2 sick and tired toddlers that need to get their medicine and go home and not wait in the drive through for 30-60 minutes every time I need to pick up a prescription! Ridiculous she needs to be fired!

Dont uses the Pharmacy they are idiots I had to curse them out when they refused to give me my pills. Some of them are rude the lady that works at the counter was really rude . This lady wanted me to name all the pills I take "like she don't have the computer in front of her, and she told me if I don't say the medication on the list she was not going to give it to me.

My wife just went in and got her vaccination at the Baxter walgreens. And she commented how dirty it is. How dirty the area was that she got her shot in. And how the medical holding container where he had his stuff in was taped together with tape.Someone in charge should pay more attention to cleanliness

I visit Walgreens a lot. Depending on the time of day, this will dictate how long of a wait you will have. I find early in the morning when they open is the best time to visit. The staff is friendly. Service can be slow at times. The pharmacy is very helpful but understaffed at times. Prices are okay. Look for deals and make use of the point system to get best deals.

Aways difficult for my partner to get his pain medications filled. Always with the runaround. This time the perscription was 100 tablets short...100. So either someone is a theif or they are THE most Incompetent pharmacy in business. Not worth the constant frustration.

Slowest customer service in the pharmacy.....waited 15 minutes on hold and then was disconnected. This isn't the only time that has happened. All I wanted was to re order a prescription and couldn't do it on the automated system-didn't have the script numbers.
