I brought my chorkie puppy in as a walk in to get his nails clipped and asked if they could also trim the hair around his pads. They said absolutely and did an awesome job. I especially liked the fact that they have a little window so that you can watch while they work if you want to, they were extremely gentle with him and went slower when they could feel like he was getting nervous. Also the fact that it was only $12.95 for a nail trim which is very affordable didn't hurt at all.

Love this place so much! Super clean place, large yard for the dogs to play. Staff is really nice and really cares about the dogs, love seeing pictures of my dog on their social media pages! He always look super happy!! Would give them more starts if I could!

The day care program is great. They have a huge outdoor yard for the dogs to run and play. They ensure that each dogs personality is fit with the perfect group for them to have a blast! The staff is all great and caring, very helpful.

First time boarding and the experience was great. Staff are awesome- honest about what to expect and how my dogs did. I was only disappointed that my puppy didn't get his comfort toy, but I should have been more clear in my wishes. I will definitely go back!

The whole team did a fantastic job with our boys. We were nervous because we had never boarded them before. Picked them up after 3 nights and they were in great shape! Tired from all the play time too. Will definitely be using Red Oaks again!

We bring our dogs here at least once a month, whether it be daycare, grooming or a long weekend stay. Every experience at Red Oaks is always positive and professional. Ronia, Jaydah, Mable and the rest of the team are outstanding, and our boys tails wag with excitement as soon as we turn into the drive. There's nowhere else we would want our pups to be!

Been going here for over eight years now the cost is very reasonable, the kennels are always nice and clean and it never smells. My dogs run to go in there wagging their tails to say hello to everyone so I know they’re being taken care and are not afraid to go. We also use the grooming side for two of our dogs and they have always come out looking pretty.

The staff was extremely friendly. they listened to us and followed our suggestions/tips regarding our pup. They got to know her and treated her very well. we will definitely be using this service again for our boarding needs in the future.

Sven and Lena love this place. It is rare to bring our dogs to a kennel and have them wag their tails all the way to the inside. They stay about 3 times a year. Staff is wonderful.

We have tried 3 places including clipping nails at home for my pup. All 3 places have failed including at home clipping/nail grinding. This is the first place that was quick, efficient at accomplished what No one else could. Thank you! They were super friendly and charged less than any of the other places. So happy!

I just moved to the area from the cities and needed daycare for my chiweenie Peanut! We tried a spendy place near our house but Peanut would be terrified upon picking her up.We decided to give Red Oaks a try and what a blessing! Peanut is an anxious dog but has been doing great at Red Oak! The staff are amazing and have been extremely helpful with my schedule needs. Red Oaks doesn't look fancy and smells like dogs live there. . .. to be expected! They have a large fenced in grassy area for the dogs to run and play as well as individual pens for quiet time when not outside. Don't judge this book by its cover.. my Peanut is loved there and I feel good leaving her there.

I had a work event near Brainerd and needed to board my dogs. I had one of my dogs on medication at the time and was nervous to leave him. They explained their medication administering process and even stated that there is no extra charge for giving meds. They not only took great care of my dogs but calming my nerves about leaving them at this facility. All employees I spoke with were very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this place for boarding dogs. They really care about the animals that stay here.

Update for experience in spring 2020: three stars because the owners are just so kind and seem to really love the dogs - and because prior to my experiences in the spring of 2020 they had always taken the best care of my dogs. When my dogs were there last they smelled strongly of urine when I picked them up (which was never the case for the other times I used ROPI). This led me to assume there was not enough staff to meet the toileting needs of the dogs. Also, one of my females peed on the patio concrete for two weeks after her stay there (again making me suspect she had to use the kennel floor) Sadly, I would not recommend ROPI if asked. I would suggest those considering it to make sure adequate trained staffing would be on hand for each shift. Maybe things have changed over the course of the year.

Boarded our dog Lyle here for the first time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were plenty of squirrels to chase so he was happy. When we came and picked him up the dogs were outside playing in the large fenced in yard. Loved the hours they are open!

Trustworthy! When I was looking for someone to take care of my Jack Russell with PTSD. I found Red Oaks Pet Inn to be gentle and understanding people for my dog. It was always a bad experience for him because things that happened in his past. I explained to them that he was a rescue dog from an abusive situation and they helped Jack through it like he was a human child. I recommend them to everyone. Christopher

Had our dog groomed. When I went to pick him up, he didn't want to leave. Normally he's with me wherever I am, can never get him to go to anyone. Very friendly staff and grooming looked great.

I WILL NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY!!!!! I scheduled an appointment for a dog grooming and after driving 1 hour I was told my dogs appointment was for the day before. This is extremely unlikely, while scheduling the appointment I had my calendar and cell phone right in front of me witch I recorded the date down on both. Needless to say I was pretty much told I was S.O.L. but I could rescheduled, no thanks!!! After $50 worth of updated shots and 2 hours of driving on my expense for there mistake, I will take my business elsewhere and make sure everybody I talk to does as well.
