This is a nice used bookstore that also carries new toys, games, jewelry, and a variety of other locally made items. There are A LOT of books, so be sure to give yourself ample time to explore the whole store!There is not a public bathroom in this store, so, especially if you have kids, be sure to go somewhere else before you stop in here.When I came here once with my 5 year old, and she had to use the bathroom, they had us go across the street to the Co-Op to use the restroom. So, just a heads up for parents with small children!

A must for nostalgics. Go there. This is a novel experience store, pun intentional. Although it feels like an old library, new and different because it’s not at all like other book sellers today. If you appreciate anything about reading, writing, books or nostalgia, this IS the secret armoire door leading to another time. Step in, get lost. I’ve found difficult to find as well as contemporary titles that I just didn’t want to wait a few days to get- Cat Tales had it! They are priced alluringly, check them first. I’ve saved easily at least $10 off of a cover price, other times significantly more.

I had ordered a book 2 months ago, and I am still waiting for it. She had had the final book of the series in store that someone had ordered and she told me that if they did not come pick it up, she would sell it to me for five bucks. I just called today and asked when my book would be coming and she said it would be there within 10 days, I am frustrated because now she’s telling me I have to pay for the book again because she counted the book that she told me she was gonna sell to me for five bucks at that price of the book I ordered, now I have to pay another 20 bucks for the book I already paid for to be ordered . I am flabbergasted and confused to why this is happening. I offered to bring the book that she said she was gonna sell to me for five dollars back so I can just get my book that I ordered without having to pay an extra 20 bucks and she said that’s not how it works. I am very frustrated and annoyed and disappointed that this is how she’s running her bookstore service.

It is a darn cool store jam packed floor to ceiling with new to you books. They do have brand new books for sale too. They have a variety of handmade items for gifts and momentos. They Also have a descent rock selection and candles. I spent about 2 hours browsing for books and purchased some rocks for my collection. Great prices too.

The layout is hard to navigate and the staff make the experience somewhat unpleasant by quietly watching you the whole time but when you can find what you want it's great

They have tons of books. The reason we were there is that they were participating in the downtown halloween event. They gave every kid a book! The people who work here are awesome and there are so many different kinds of books! Their prices are reasonable and they are very helpful! I like being in there and find something new every time!

A real gem in Brainerd! My daughter and I wandered in and found a little slice of heaven. The tarot reader is THE BEST. The owner is knowledgeable and so helpful. They have books, jewelry, stones, crafts, soaps, beads, candles, a little of everything. A little zen in a crazy world!

A jaw droppingly large selection of trade paperbacks with a little bit of everything else mixed in. Huge selection of popular romance authors. Everything used is at least 40% off the sticker price, with deeper discounts for trade in credits and selected shelves. Dollar and two dollar titles not uncommon.They even had a free book rack at the entrance! The second section of the store is new books, so there’s something for everyone. Looooove!

The owners are very nice people. Very helpful. Very large variety of books. They have a tarot card reader also. She is very good as well. They have many knick knacks too! Warm and inviting.

It's a cute little bookstore with a lot of variety. They have kids books, adult books, gem's, candles, and even a thing called "bad music night" where there is a vinyl wrapped up so you can't see who it is by. Usually it'll have some really bad music on it. I have gotten a children's choir singing religious songs, and a jazz cover of some songs I didn't recognize. It's a cute way to sell vinyls!

It's a great shop for some people but not really for me. If you like books and you like spending your days reading you probably will like it. If you're looking for a specific book they've probably got it! They're doing a good job of what they're doing.

Good place has plenty of books owner work's there. If they don't have book they will try to find. They do have not a lot of spiritual products or items but what they have is nice and good quality we do go here at least once a month
