Soft-serve ice cream & signature shakes top the menu at this classic burger & fries fast-food chain. For as long as i can remember in waseca dairy queen has always been good freaking slow but worth the wait. Ghey have a good custtomer retention rate, but of course if u have no patients which is unfortunate than i wouldnt see them coming back lol. They however did move to the other side of town conveniently next to Burger King hows that for a happy ending :).

I had the popcorn shrimp basket and I barely got any shrimp or fries. I don't know if the guessed how much of each was supposed to be in it or what. Very disappointed with that but the staff is ALWAYS great.As far as the seating? They remodeled and put ALL booths except for one table with chairs that are sooo wobbly (for all not just for heavy people) in the do not allow for heavy people. VERY disappointing!!

Really liking the new changes to the menu & available options at shockingly good prices! Friendly, PATIENT, professional staff!Orders have been correct here recently at this location, which is a huge improvement. I used to have to check before driving away because something was always wrong with our order. The food tastes so much better here lately and has very fresh vegetables, and a decent amount too. I've also noticed the cups, sandwich boxes, kid's meal bags, etc. are nicer and seem to be higher quality now! Overall, I am really liking this location here lately!

Staff seemed friendly, Went through the drive thru and got the flamethrower burger. Not sure why this Dairy Queen doesn’t do it anymore but there was no diaper with the burger. It was very messy to eat.Fries were about room temp, for the wait they should have been close to fresh.Even though this experience wasn’t perfect I’d still visit again.

My husband and I frequent this Dairy Queen often and usually have good service. Tonight we asked for an Oreo Blizzard and add cheesecake and was told they don't make them anymore...? You have Oreos...you have cheesecake bites...is it really too much to ask to add something? Never had an issue with it before? Disappointing.

We have been to this location for years, but in the last couple months we have learned that we have to check our food before we leave the drive-thru because something is wrong. Well tonight we decided to go and they had a new girl working the drive-thru and she was not understanding our order. We ordered a 6-piece chicken strip basket with ranch instead of gravy and a 4-piece sauced and tossed chicken strip basket which came with gravy. I was then charged for the ranch which I never was before and we were charged for the barbeque sauce that came on the sauced and tossed basket as a separate sauce. When we brought this to the new girls attention she stated that because we were getting the ranch that we were being charged for it, but that we were then not going to get the gravy that originally came with the basket. I then ask why we're getting charged for the barbeque sauce and she just shrugs her shoulders and tells me that there is a new owner. Frustrated at this point I ask for her manager who she does get and tell him the situation and he says "we have a new girl working the drive-thru and quite frankly she does not know what she is doing" which I found very unprofessional of him to say about one of his employees. Eventually we get a refund for the ranch and for the sauce and can leave. But because of this fiasco we didn't think to check to see if we got all of our food. We do not live in town, so when we are halfway home my boyfriend asks if we got all of our food and lo and behold we got 2 four piece meals when I was charged for a 6-piece and a 4-piece. This is very frustrating because the whole experience was terrible and unprofessional and now I feel as though I have been robbed because I paid for food and did not get all of it.

Food is always great, ice cream is pretty great, especially the Oreo cookie jar, resees outrageous, and cotton candy blizzard are some of the greatest ice cream treats around. And at this location it seems like everyone who works there has had a long day, but the owner of the restaurant is a great guy. All in all a great after church stop in Blooming Prairie! 🤗

Went there last night for a 6 dollar meal deal didn’t get my sundae for the meal and I ordered a Oreo dirt pie blizzard and got a Oreo blizzard so sent that back in for the right thing and didn’t serve them upside down so they should of been free and the service was poor waiting in line for 45 minutes to get helped when there was only 3 cars ahead of me. Be a while before I will be back

Great place to casually hang out and get some lunch or an ice cream treat. I eat here every Sunday. Their 5 buck lunch is a great deal and their ice cream treats are some of the best. The people are friendly and the food usually comes out pretty fast and tastes great.

Service was horrible. One of the workers gave me major attitude when I asked for my ice cream that came with the meal. She said,"Your supposed to tell me what you want and what you want on it." No Honey that is your job to ask me what I would like for ice cream. The dinning room was outdated. Bathroom is dark and creepy. VERY DIRTY! Definitely would not go back.

The serivce is extremely horrible yet I go since there are no other options in town.. I put up with it. Very slow service literally not exaggerating you can be the only one there and wait 15min for food. Lots if teenagers work there and are constantly on their phones. Wearing very little inappropriate non-work attire. Almost all of them have attitudes especially the manager. He is racists and always treats me differently. As much as I go there I'm surprised he treats me the way he does. Whenever I pull up to the window he says "oh, its you" what is that supposed to mean?! He is very rude but hey if you don't want my money I can go elsewhere. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Don't even get me started on the appearance. Completely outdated and not maintained. Their entire staff needs training on customer service interactions and need to re-learn the menu again.

The Blooming Prairie Dairy Queen is amazing. Locally owned and operated. Nick is a master at running his store efficiently and the food is always delicious. Been going there for 14 years now.

BP DQ is the best! Food is always great and the ice cream is never melty! I am so glad we have DQ in town! I highly recommend everyone stop for a treat!
