Fun little shop! A nice variety of frozen sausages, frozen pasty, and hot pasty! This is a small and very clean shop, definitely worth a visit!

Friendly small town place to eat, the pasty was delicious! This was a perfect place to stop and sit in the sunny windows to eat a hot pasty and warm up after a chilly day watching a ski meet. Thank you!

Hands down the best pasties I have ever had, and they're very large too. A huge variety of types and kinds of both pasties and meat sticks make for a great set of options for anyone. They also generally have fresh ready to eat pasties, which is great for those of us looking to grab one and eat at home (granted we are local, so we can do that without them getting cold), but they also have a few tables you can eat at at the store. Incredibly nice staff, even better food. I recommend everybody try it here!

OMG when in the Virginia/Biwabik/Aurora area Carlson’s is a must stop for the Yooper/Cornish pasty! It’s a one meat-filled pastry meal! They’re so rich we had to split one between two people lol. I guess we’re light weights. It’s so fun to get a taste of local iron range culture. Pasties were the original Iron Range miners’ lunch in a bag. Get the one with rutabaga!
