Kocian's did a fabulous job of shopping and preparing our grocery order for our extended family vacation at a VRBO house 30 minutes away. Kocian's was the closest grocery store to the house and I called them a month before our vacation to see if they would prepare a large grocery order for us if I sent them a detailed list so I wouldn't have to shop it all myself. They were very helpful and had our order ready when we arrived to pick it up. They even ordered items for us that they didn't normally carry in stock. The produce was fresh (she even told us that if our cantaloupes weren't good quality they would refund our money). We were very satisfied with the entire process and would recommend them to anyone in the area on vacation.

THE GREAT GROCERY STORE IN THE UNIVERSE! Best meat sales ever! Glorious customer service! The delightful smell of magnificent deli delights! Clothing! Movies! FREE PARKING! If you haven't been to Kocian's, you are missing something amazing in your life.

One word..Expensive!! Stopped in while in town visiting, I've never seen prices this high ever in my life at the grocery store! I was blown away Lol! but i was hungry and needed some food, spent $40 on a few items, the cashier wasn't very friendly, never gave me a receipt.. Tip, you're better off shopping at the Dollar General nearby! Much better prices and deals.

i work here and i’m gonna quit soon the pay isn’t bad but they don’t give you hours even when you need to help and people with hours barely work like the cashiers.

Excellent local grocery store in the north woods that gas everything you would need to make your life easy and not have to go miles to town to shop! Prices are a bit high but when you take into consideration the price of gas and your time its fine. Meat counter is excellent and the produce is a lovely display if fresh items. Owner is very accommodating and if he doesn't stick something he will get it for me.

Prices are super high. Saw a jar of mayo today priced at $10.50. Cannot afford to shop here unless it's something I really need.Would love to support local, but forced to go to Rapids.

For a small town grocery store, they provide an impressive selection of items and I appreciate having a place close for when I need last-minute groceries.Sometimes in the winter produce can be limited, low quality and pricey, but considering how far it has to travel, it makes sense.My main issues are with the staff.They barely acknowledge me when I approach checkout and often times they neglect to apply discounts, so I feel like I have to watch them very closely when they scan items.It’s a small complaint, but it’s really annoying that 95% of the time they don’t ask if I want paper or plastic. They usually just bag my stuff in plastic and I typically like paper bags.Overall, it’s a big convenience to have a local grocery store.

Great Market for a small town. Even with DG across the street I’d rather shop at a locally owned store then a corporate chains. Kocians has a nice meat market and a good variety of items They have been serving the community for many years. It’s really nice to not have to drive down to Grand Rapids when in need of groceries. I only wish they would be open until 4 or 5 on Sundays.

I love this store...very friendly helpful people and has everything you need...we shop here when we stay popular resort south of town...its a shorter drive than going to G.R. great meat department. Love the smoked meats!!!!!!

This is a remote grocery store in a small town but does seem to have a good variety of items and fair prices for a remote Town most small towns are spendy this one don't seem too bad a couple dollars more than expected from my big town I live in so I think the staff are fairly friendly

It's a nice little store. The prices are a little more than what you'd see from stores in the Tricities in Tennessee; however, the staff was friendly which is something my hometown lacks most of the time.

No one wearing masks at checkout or counter. Must not care about all of the older customers up here. So sad second time I have seen this in a week. We will be shopping at Dollar store they are wearing masks over there.
