Bought bad non oxiginated boat gas here.Almost ruined my fishing trip.The guy working stated he would talk to the owner and acknowledged they had bad gas and still didnt even offer me a refund.I would not buy gas here.

The staff is disrespectful, crumpling receipts, slamming stuff on the counter. arguing with customers. There is a reason why their are certain laws regarding peoples health issues. When i called to talk to a manager, she told me there was not one there. I asked if one would be in tonight, was told no. And asked if i could leave my phone number for someone to call me back at. I asked her if she was the one working in the last 25 minutes and said yes, i then asked for her name and she started arguing with me. I then told her that it is about you, and the way you treat customers. I have worked in customer service. And because of this, i will never go back there.

I love this little store/gas hub. It's all Bena has for a food resource and sometimes they might even have other things you are looking for other than food. ie. Shampoo, diapers. They have a table in the store too to enjoy your microwavable meals or to just stop and relax on your long drive.Bathroom is outside a key myst be asked for. Plus they even have a little laundry mat. Gas too. LOL

Close to two major lakes!Mostly a lovely, cozy RV park with small play area, fireplaces at each site, mature trees with plenty of room to maneuver into your spot. Set back from, but on, Rt. 2, the small General Store carries usual convenience/campground fare, with two busy gas pumps out front. In the same building are separate ladies and gents' facilities with a sink, shower, and toilet stall (key available at the store). Two small, cozy cabins flank the store, facing the dirt roads that lead into the RV sites. Cabins have microwaves, coffee pots, small electric heaters, and bedroom and living room furniture (including pull-out sofa beds) but DO NOT HAVE RUNNING WATER - the only serious drawback to staying in a cabin.Directly across Rt. 2 are active rails for high speed trains (no crossing barriers), and Rt. 2 is used by heavy equipment, large trucks, and major transport moving at high speed, so there's some road noise and a caution to parents with kids under 15. There is fencing but no gates between the camp roads and Rt. 2.Also be aware this place is located on a Native reservation so do honor that, and that it's in the Chippewa National Forest; the wild animals still call it home so be sure to store all food in air tight containers at all times.There's a nice bar/restaurant just southeast of the General Store with big tvs, a pool table, a dining room, and good food in huge portions. A great getaway among friendly folks for any aged visitors!

The place is reasonable but i dont think the local management knows much about the hospitality industry. The restrooms are always locked, the cabins have no running water. They have a nice little store.I would recommend Dennys Resort just a block away. Very friendly hospitable folks and they know the lake well. As for this place, if renting a cabin, look elsewhere. Again cabins are clean and well kept, but no water and locked restrooms, along with uncomfortable beds, will cause me to not return.

Awsome place love coming here never know wich fishing lwgend your going to run into. They have everything you need and so much more.Selection for what they are biting on is incredible,and the knowledge is spot on. Highly recommend to stop in and buy some things and talk to folks who know how to fish...

Worst place I've ever stayed. 1 stall bathroom for 2 cabins + RV campground + gas station and store. Yuck. Filthy restroom. Bed lumpy and creeky, cabin stinky, no airconditioning. What are people who need bathroom in middle of night to do? Noisy. Trains all night long. Cars and loud music. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Staff looked stoned and were totally unattentive. Loud patrons cussing and acting foolish. Very bad customer service.

Love this old store, now they have a campground, always can find something here to buy. Grew up in this town so been going to this store my whole life. Alot of people don't know it's a historic landmark.

Please look at our website to see our cabins are lovely. They do not have bathrooms inside of these historical cabins, which we clearly state before checking in, however we make up for it with free Wi-Fi, coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, satellite TV, etc. The restrooms with showers is only a few steps away. And of course the restrooms are locked. LOL. We provide a key to you when you stay in our cabins, and also if your customer on the highway. We have very clearly marked restrooms unless you wander about hoping it’s going to appear in front of you. Please look on our website, news articles, and also call the owners. This way, it dispells false facts. We would be more than happy to assist you.

Was on a long road trip, with a child and she had to go to the bathroom. Stopped at the store: 1. Restrooms are not marked anywhere. 2. Had to go to the back of the store on the outside to find a restroom(Men's room). 3. Had to get a key. 4. One clerk, six deep at the register and you need a restroom key. 5. Male party got a key, took little girl in there so she could go. 6. Had manager/owner of resort/store come and chew us out because we took her to the Men's room. 7. Restrooms are not handicapped accessible.WILL NOT EVER stop there again. Everyone was either rude or too busy to help us out. No signage for bathrooms. Nothing is handicapped accessible. My mom couldn't get into the restroom to use it, causing us to have to stop down the road, and she had to change clothing in the bathroom, due to the fiasco at Bena.
