{First time with our new camper back in July, so it was a learning experience.}If I limited my review to one thing, it would be the quiet. As stated on their website and in other reviews, this is a quiet campground. I really liked not having to listen to my neighbor's music, thumping music from cars, etc.Being used to tent camping in state parks, I was initially concerned about the cost; but the very clean restroom/showers & laundry room, nice game room, good wi-fi, and general overall upkeep of the campground makes the cost well worth it.If someone limited my assessment to a few words, I would say of the family that owns/runs this campground "They exhibit 'Pride of ownership'."

This campground was wonderful! We stayed for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can tell this family puts alot of time and effort into making sure you enjoy your visit. We absolutely LOVE Fox Lake Campground! The owners, Mark and Amanda are so friendly and very accommodating. The campground/Bath house is always very clean. We have been coming here for 4 years and continue to bring our family here. There is also so much to do for all ages. I would highly recommend staying here as it is very family friendly.

What a wonderful family run campground tucked away on a beautiful little lake just north of Bemidji! My girls and mom had a girls weekend camping trip here and it was amazing! Friendly staff, super cute details for kiddos, very clean and so much fun! I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for place to relax and enjoy a weekend away!Nearby activities: Close enough to Bemidji that it is just a short drive to all kinds of shopping, eating and activities!Safety: Fenced in property and off the beaten pathWalkability: Cute and fun walking trails and roads/campsites are very well maintained.Food & drinks: Cute little store on site for snacks, ice cream and floats, and grocery staples.

Mark & Amanda are so welcoming & work very hard to keep their campground clean & inviting! There are so many things available to entertain kids of all ages: playground, kayaks, paddle boats, a cute maze thru forest for kiddos, pontoon rentals, bean bags, game room, barrell train rides, clean beach with slide and floaty pads...you name it. The campground has a smaller & cozier feel, and campsites are not jam packed together which makes for a nice atmosphere. We love this place and I selfishly don't want to give such a good review out of fear of it becoming too popular and us not being able to make a reservation! Lol! ❤️

Absolutely wonderful campground. It's clean and quiet. Great for families and just getting away. The showers and restrooms are always clean. The front office staff is easy to talk to and get help for whatever reason. They have paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks to checkout. Great ice cream and inexpensive firewood.We will definitely stay here again when we come up north.

The campground itself is gorgeous- the view is hard to beat! Lots to do and the swimming beach is wonderful!However, if you have a large group (family/friend reunion, etc.) I would NOT recommend Fox Lake. The quiet hours and other rules are strictly enforced and we were unhappy with how the staff interacted with our group.

The owners are super friendly and welcoming! From the moment you enter with a nice welcome and escort to your site. The campground is extremely clean and you can tell they take pride in their campground! Sites are kind of tight near the lake but not too bad at all and well worth the view. Very peaceful and overall a beautiful campground. The walk around after people check out and pick up anything left behind and organize the water sport items! We will definitely come back for another visit!

Our family had a great experience at Fox Lake Campground of Bemidji! The campground is well kept with great amenities that are included in your stay. The ice cream in the office is an added bonus and was LOVED by our kids. The playground is huge and kept our little ones busy for hours. The beach was also a hit and the scenery is incredible. The lake is clean and quiet; truly a gem in an area that can get pretty busy during the summer. Overall, the campground is well kept, and the staff is incredible. This will be a yearly destination for our family!

Just returned home from a 3 night stay with FIVE other families. It was a fantastic time!Location and views are fantastic!General Store and staff were great!Wonderful beach and swimming area for all and great fishing from the water and the dock!Family & dog friendly! We will DEFINITELY be coming back here soon!

In a time where customer service seems to be lacking, the Fox lake campground is absolutely above standards in this area. By far the cleanest most welcoming place I've been to in a very long time. Professional and experienced staff made it a joy to come to visit my son and his family. The beach area is wonderful clean and kid friendly. Recommended highly buy a lifetime camper.

Cannot say enough good words about this RV park. Greeted at office. Escorted to camping spot. Camp clean and spotless. The host are great people. We camped beside the parents of one of the host and they were great also My wife has health problems and they offered us use of there golf car. A bad storm came up and they took us to the storm shelter and all ended well. So many water toys to use all included such as paddle boats, canoes. You name it. Evening extremely quite for sitting around campfire listening to the loons, beside the best hand scooped ice cream cones. Great camping with children welcomed. I never do reviews but could not help giving Fox Lake Campground 5 stars👍👍😄Kranzburg SD

The campground is great. Kayaks and bikes are free to use. The bikes are kid-sized. Campground is very tidy. The owner Always has a smile on her face. The prices in the well-stocked store are fair prices. They don't gouge you. I Really like that I can camp there in a tent. The swimming area has a couple of those large floating pads, slide and some circle thing. Not sure what the circle thing was, but kids liked it. Game room has a pool table, games and a large lending library. The lending library has a great selection,including a lot of fantasy: robert Jordan Wheel of Time, and a lot of david Eddings. Tons of kids books,too. I hope they always save a few spots for tents.

Great place to stay, very very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean lake. Great ice cream. Only drawback was the boat landing was to small for our boat, could be due to low lake levels. All in all I highly recommend Foxlake camp ground.👍

Fox Lake Campground has everything for a fun camping experience. They really take care to provide clean restroom and shower areas, beautiful benches at the playground and beach area, FREE use of a canoe and multiple kayaks, beach toys. The ice cream at the neat and clean store was yummy. My family of 7 rented a pontoon for a day and we were able to go to Fox Lake and the connecting Beltrami Lake. The kids enjoyed fishing and swimming at their fun beach with a slide and giant swimming pad. I highly recommend this campground!!

We love Fox Lake Campground! It is clean and well maintained with friendly and helpful owners. It is located on the Beltrami lake chain and has good water access for fishing and swimming. A 10 minute drive puts you in Bemidji so access to services is good. I highly recommend Fox Lake as the place to stay while visiting the Bemidji area.

Fox Lake Campground was a blast. Lots of water activities for the whole family. A lot of RV sites with a few traditional tent camping sites as well. RV site we had was a full hookup and worked well for our needs. Store was well equipped with tons of snacks, ice cream, and essentials. Thanks Fox Lake Campground!

Our week at Fox Lake Campground exceeded our expectations. The friendly atmosphere and clean grounds were welcoming and restful. The free usage of kayaks, paddle boats, bicycles and canoes were a major plus in our decision to return next year. The grandkids enjoyed the beach, play equipment and game room. The Book Exchange was top notch. My wifes perk was the full service waffle cone ice cream parlor. Fox Lake Campground's WiFi was perfect onto my RV. This is the place to come to.

This place is a gem! Very quiet during the week, great little store, beautiful view of the lake. The owners are super nice and helpful. We will definitely be coming back. It was a great central spot for our Etsy shopping.
