Very nice rest stop. Insides are well maintained as well as the outsides. Picnic tables and lawns. Clean restrooms. Sitting area is great and inside there is always cool. There are lot of information magazines and pamphlets. Vending machines available as well as clean drinking water fountains too. Good to spend some cool time indoors and relax on the way during long driving and roadtrips.

One of the cleanest rest areas I've visited. Plenty of tourist information. Vending machines were on the more expensive side, I believe the drinks and snacks were $3.50 each. Beautiful Welcome to Minnesota sign out front! I visited in early November, so it is likely outside mowing season, but the bank next to the sign was grown up a bit, making it a little difficult to walk up to the sign. Average adults would probably get up fine, but kids and the elderly may struggle.

Very clean bathrooms and very clean rest area both the interior and exterior. Liked how they have flag posts signage outside of the facility. On ways to Minnesota passing through South Dakota we stopped to use restrooms and take a quick nap. Too bad rest areas up in New York aren’t like this or have the type of facilities to set themselves apart!

Very nice,clean,well kept up facility.When I stopped by there was a gentleman inside repainting the walls inside.Vending machines were full and stocked.Bathrooms were very clean.

My enthusiasm for rest areas only goes so far, but this one is nicer than average. It is very clean, and being right at the border (with South Dakota, about 20 miles from Sioux Falls) it has lots of tourist brochures about all the fun things you can do in Minnesota. I was hauling a camper, and really appreciated the pull-through semi spots. These are extremely long parking spaces that allow you to pull in and out without having to reverse. Nice work, MN!

This place was an absolute ghost town....and I loved every second of it. The inside of the building is nice and air conditioned with seating and outlets to charge your gadgets. Plenty of reading material provided while you rest. Lots of picnic tables that are covered which is super nice. Good place to make yourself something to eat and relax. Hang your hat here for a while.

Clean bathrooms, clean grounds, a couple well stocked vending machines and plenty of information about local areas in Minnesota. The only thing keeping them from not getting a five-star review is having a coffee machine like many of the Iowa rest areas have!

The rugs to protect the floor are a pain to cross if you have to use a walker or knee scooter. The facility was clean and functional.

I love this rest area as not to many people stop here and it's such a relaxing place. Always birds chirping and beautiful place to watch a sunset or sun rise.

Welcome to Minn!!It’s an awesome rest area with spacious parking, clean restrooms, snacks, beverages.But this place is entirely located in SD. ??(Never seen a state test area located in a different state)

Clean and convenient. The grounds are well maintained with picnic tables, garbage cans and a separate pet exercise area available.It was Mother's Day / Sunday, so the welcome center inside was closed, but many brochures for southern MN cities and areas of interest were available. I would have liked to have been able to get a State map, but one would probably be able to get one when the Welcome Center is open.

Original infrastructure is good, trees, outdoor spaces, view. The facility and especially the parking area is badly deteriorated as of July 2023. This review will be different If only the parking lot is repaved.

Nice enough stop to refill on water and take a piss. I would advise against leaving your car here unattended because the location is quite busy; and it appears some people are staying in the parking lot.

This and every rest area in Minnesota are really nice. The people who oversee the restrooms and lobby keep this place spotless. The grounds are usually well maintained although with the extended winter the upper midwest is having they really haven't had a good chance to do any real grounds maintenance. Keep up the good job fellas!

This is the second time I have been there after hours. The place is always well stocked with MN information with a pleasant staff member available. It is spotless as well! Grounds well kept and to top it off there have been wildflowers in a vase in the bathroom. Charming!

Was very clean, had seating inside with some plants. The info center was closed but guy that was taking care of rest area was very helpful. There was info on MN, on table, and stands. Most of the walkways were clear of snow and ice. If you want to look on YouTube to see more. John the mouse video.
