Every person interested in opening a bakery needs to visit Bread Art. Their offerings of breads, pastries and pies are delightful. Their prices make it easy to surprise family, friends and coworkers with a baked good. They definitely put the "art" in Bread Art. They will slice bread purchases in store. I recommend any of the butter braids, kolachies and croissants as they aren't overly sweet and they allow the flavor of the filling to be savoured. The prices are friendly and they offer discounted items.

Heather and her incredible staff at Bread Art made the most incredibly wedding cake we could have ever imagined. It was perfectly baked, absolutely delicious and breathtakingly beautiful. We have since purchased croissants, dog treats, and more cakes since. Worth the drive from the Twin Cities!

Bread Art is such an amazing place! From the people to the pastries and baked goods, everything and everyone working there are high quality and incredible. Delicious cakes, pastries, bread, sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, and more!! Grateful for the owners and everything they do for the community.Check out this amazing Frog Small Cake we got! We accidentally smooshed him a little on the way home, but you can still see just how adorable it is!! And it was soooo delicious. Also we tried the new mangonada drink and it was super tasty!

This bakery did an amazing job on our wedding cake!! We did sheet cakes from our venue for most of our guests, but we wanted a small cake to cut for the head table, preferably one without eggs since my husband is allergic. Heather was so helpful from the very start! She helped me choose what size cake would work best for my head table, as well as ordered flowers herself to put on it since my florist wasn’t able to. We chose a chocolate cake with raspberry filling and white buttercream. The cake was absolutely DELICIOUS and my husband and I are already talking about getting another one for our first anniversary!

An amazing bakery with amazing owners. I drive 15 minutes past 6 bakeries to patronize this gem of a purveyor of baked goods. The Owner's Richard and Heather are awesome as well as their staff, especially the young lady on Saturday mornings. Just a great local bakery everyone should patronize.

Always a great option for freshly baked cookies or bread. Staff aren’t very friendly and selection can sometimes be a confusing mix, but if you are flexible it’s great. If you’re looking to order a delicious cake this is definitely the place to go!

The caramel rolls are beyond. The coffee drinks are delightful. If you need a cake to celebrate an event, I highly recommend Bread Art.

Really cute little bakery and cafe! If love to come in and sit down for a coffee and baked goods item sometime, but I usually just get something to go on my way through. They often have some unique items, and they have all sorts of different baked goods from sweet breads to basic breads, donuts to Danishes, and cakes to pies! I really like the selection, the location, and the feel of the place! The staff always is friendly and sociable. The ONLY reason I give it a 4-star instead of a 5 is because the prices of small items, (donuts, muffins, Danishes, rolls, etc.), seem a little higher than other bakeries that I typically enjoy going to.

We ordered ~20 6" diameter cakes to be used as table centerpieces (and dessert) at our wedding. Each cake was cut into 8 slices by our caterer and I think that was a good amount for each guest.We had lots of comments from guests about how good the cake was! Even my grandma, who can be pretty picky about cake and baked goods. We chose almond buttercream frosting on all of the table cakes, since we wanted them to be white in color. However, if you love chocolate and don't care about the exterior color of your cake for your event/celebration, go with the dark chocolate frosting. It is sublime!Heather was so easy to work with. We did a tasting in Bayport and she answered lots of questions and made some great recommendations for how we should execute our vision. She was communicative via email and delivered to our venue on time.The cherry on top is the pricing for the cakes was sooo much more reasonable than what we were quoted at bakeries closer to the Twin Cities. Heather does not charge an arm and a leg just because it is your wedding.I would not hesitate to visit Bread Art for a cake for future celebrations (anniversary, birthday, etc.)!

Heather and her team at Bread Art did an AMAZING job on the desserts for our wedding in September :) We ordered mini cupcakes, donut holes, and one small cake and everything turned out both beautifully and delicious!! Heather was also super great to work with and really responsive whenever we had questions. I can't recommend Bread Art enough!

I recently purchased a flourless chocolate cake and let me just say..it was exquisite. So moist and rich and just completely knocked it out of the park. I had such a tough time deciding as every cake there looked phenomenal and I will no doubt be back for more and pie as well. Outstanding!

Bread Art Bakery made the desserts for our wedding and it they were incredible! We wanted a small three-tier cake as well as cupcakes all being a variety of flavors. Bread Art sat down with my wife and me and walked us through all of our options and different flavor combinations and ways we could decorate. She did not rush us at all and we felt very welcome. Bread Art dropped off the cake and cupcakes at the wedding and they looked and tasted amazing! She even worked with our florist to add some greenery to our cake. We would absolutely recommend Bread Art Bakery and will use them again in the future!

Bread Art did our cake and a dessert buffet for our January Wedding. Heather and her team far exceeded my expectations on every level- she was a dream to work with, the prices are very reasonable, and the products are amazing! My only regret is that our guests ate all of the desserts and I did not have any leftovers!

We chose Bread Art to make the cupcakes for our wedding reception. All the planning was easy and simple and the cupcakes were delicious. My guests ate them up! The cupcakes were delivered for a minimal fee and the cupcakes were set up nicely on the dessert table for me. As the bride, I didn't worry about a thing and felt very taken care of.

Bread Art made our dream cake for our wedding. We did a few different tastings with local bakeries, and Bread Art was by far our favorite. Heather is just so nice to work with. We LOVE bread art! They made us a beautiful wedding cake that not only looked wonderful, but tasted SO good! Whenever we go to other weddings we have yet to taste a cake that was as good as breadart! Now we go back every year to buy a small 9 inch cake on our anniversary just so we can enjoy some more yummy cake. The owners are great to work with and the staff are always so friendly. Would definitely recommend for weddings, a tasty breakfast, special occasion, or just about anything where you want to impress your guests!

If you're a bread enthusiast like me, you will thuroughly enjoy what Bread Art has to offer. The customer service is truly top of the line, they make it easy to decide what type of tasty pastry you would like. On top of their wide variety of breads and pastries they offer a range of delicious cakes. They even have mini cakes witch are great for celebrating things by yourself. If your not celebrating by yourself than Bread Art makes sheet cakes too! All and all I believe bread art is one of, if not, the best bakery's in existence. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! Heather at Breadart is AMAZING! From our first meeting, she helped bring our vision to life. Our wedding cake and dessert bar was phenomenal. I've never seen such a long line of guests waiting for dessert. So many raves from our wedding guests, and our cutting cake couldn't have been better! Heather is reliable, did a great job with set up, and managed tear down with the venue. Would recommend time and time again!

The bakery fresh honey white bread is delicious! We also picked up some creatively decorated "scary monster" donuts for Halloween- super tasty and the kiddos (and adults) enjoyed them.

Heather did our wedding cake testing with us this last weekend. She was so amazing to work with, the cakes and bread are OUTSTANDING, and the owner is right in the shop to greet you with a smile. I am glad I have a gym membership because I know I will be here quite often now.

You will not be disappointed in anything you get from here! They use all quality ingredients and it really shines through when you take a bite of a loaf of Cheddar Beer bread, or a lemon curd filled cupcake, or a apricot/cream cheese kolachy, or an apple turnover....I could go on, but I just drooled on my keyboard!Aside for just stopping in for high-quality baked goods to shove in my mouth, I have worked with Bread Art 3 times in the past for various events, including my wedding! Heather (owner) is a great lady to work with, is very accommodating, pleasant and offers great ideas!This place for sure gets 5 stars from me!

I ordered some sourdough bread and a lemon curd cake for my birthday. The cake was very good; the lemon curd was nice and tangy, and the cake tasted like angel food cake. However, I was less than impressed by the bread (with a name like Bread Art I expected it to be good!) The sourdough was completely crusted by a THICK layer of flour. It had very weird looking wrinkles and tasted nothing like sourdough. Properly proofed and handled bread should not have wrinkles. I was very disappointed by the lack of crust. I don't think anybody wants to chew plain flour. I wanted this bread in place of a gift for my birthday, and was extremely disappointed.

Edit: Response to Owner - This was Monday 8/10 in the afternoon, 1:30/2:30ish.We had picked up a cake in July, which was pretty good, so we decided to stop by for some coffee since we were in the area again. We were greeted with incredibly rude customer service. I honestly am still in disbelief of how hostile the employee was, and for no reason. I work in customer service and know everyone has rough days but this was excessive. There's no reason to spread that kind of negativity, especially during these uncertain times. It makes it difficult to want to return to a place after having such a negative experience.

The woman who “helped” us was unfriendly and clearly had no interest in answering questions or assisting us in any way. The pastry selection in the case was unimpressive and the donut we purchased was dry and flavorless. I’m guessing it was a day old if not more.
