Kim, the Customer Representative I spoke with did a wonderful job of working through the patio screen replacement I needed for an older patio door/screen. Details were critical and she spent a good deal of time making sure everything was correct. I asked her if there was a way to make this known and she made sure I had this opportunity. Anderson products and customer service are second to none. I most enthusiastically urge you to take advantage of Anderson products and customer services. BK

The product specified that door grilles are removable. I purchased four French door panels based on believing from a prior Anderson door purchase that the clips were also removable.The wood around the inside trim splintered from removing the clips. I called Anderson and was told that while the grilles are removable, the clips are not. I asked where it states that in any product literature or specifications. They were unable to find it printed anywhere.Now I am left with doors that I purchased for the specific reason of being able to remove grilles seasonally as I did with my previous purchase.In order to mitigate the trim splintering, I must keep the unsightly metal clips in, not to mention the potential risk of being injured or cut by the sharp metal clips. I spent approx $1,200. on a product that can not be used as specified.Anderson is not willing to refund the purchase price of the grilles so I am stuck, and have warned others against purchasing this product and also of the lack of customer service.

Customer Support was very friendly and helped me complete my order for window parts that I could not find in the on-line parts store. She then combined the parts in my "shopping cart" with the other parts into one convenient order. Her knowledge of Andersen windows also assured me that I was ordering were the correct parts for an old 1999 casement bay window. She also went through each item, and repeated item numbers and quantities twice to make sure the order was correct. At the end of our call, an order number was provided plus an estimated delivery date. A very pleasant experience!

I called the 1-888 solutions center number to get help with an old window replacement. I got connected with Nathan who was amazingly helpful and friendly. Great experience. He helped me quickly and was thorough. I had to call back after this first call to finish up my inquiry and got Libby, who was also very helpful and friendly. Keep these two reps and reward them for their good service!

After spending over 20K on 400 series Anderson windows and having them installed, one window was hard to raise and made a horrific noise. Each time I called Anderson or Home Depot (where purchased), I was told the other was responsible for repairs. Finally a HD representative said they would be responsible for parts but I would have to pay labor. I called Anderson's customer service and spoke to a supervisor who could not tell me the proper operation of the windows. HD conferenced with a "representative from Anderson" named Augustus. What a waste of my time. Finally I was contacted by Summer in Dispute resolution who was very proficient in sending a service provider to resolve the issue. Anderson's customer service and quality control are terrible. Proper customer service could have made this a pleasurable experience. What a fiasco!

The lady that helped us was fabulous! She found our account from 2006 and helped us to order a replacement for a broken part on the lock of our patio door. She is so valuable to the Anderson Window company for her ability to communicate with us including helping us to show her a picture of our door and the lock system. I am so thankful for someone so helpful!

Anderson customer service was extremely helpful and easy to work with. A lock mechanism broke on a unit ten years old. Anderson customer service assisted me in getting the correct part without specific model number and ordered me a replacement part immediately. Great experience and I will continue to purchase Anderson products based in warranty alone!

I can’t say enough about the incredible customer service that Laura at Anderson Windows gave us. We have a 400 series patio door that the spring broke in the mechanism. The door handle was just hanging and wouldn’t open or release the door. After about 40 mins of messing with it we were able to get the door open and the handle/mechanism removed. I thought I could run to a local hardware store and purchase a replacement part. Apparently that is not the case on these doors. I called Anderson Window directly and Laura picked up. I explained the situation and that we live in New England, it’s winter and this is the primary egress for our disabled son. She was so kind and went above and beyond to get the part order expedited and shipped. The part arrived today, it was exactly what we needed and it’s already installed. Thank you so much for the incredible customer service. Anderson has a customer for life because of the service Laura gave us.

There is a reason the Andersen name is synonymous with quality and excellence. I had spent days calling local glass and window companies in the Rochester, MN area only to be met with unprofessionalism and folks who simply don’t listen. I ended up calling Andersen directly and spoke with Kim. She provided more valuable information to us about replacing our 30 year old sliding door than we thought was possible. Kim got us all of the contact information for local dealers and made it evident she will remain in touch throughout the whole process. We are very pleased and would not recommend anyone but Andersen.

We bought a home and it has Anderson sliding doors that were installed in 1989 Was worried I couldn't get parts for them. Called the online parts store and they were very helpful with finding our doors and most of the parts are still available. They looked the style of doors we have and was able to find all the parts we need. Great information when your in need of a part give them a call.

The rep, Laurie, was fantastic. Very very professional and understanding. She was SUPER and a great representation of how all customers should be treated. I really enjoyed speaking to her. Literally the worst experience I have had in 30+ years of being in business! :(( We bought and installed a BRAND NEW Andersen sliding patio door, which 3-4-5 days later the handle flies off when opening the blinds! 2.5 to 3 MONTHS of WASTING MY TIME, calls, emails, more calls, more emails, Andersen trying to make it Home Depots problem!Home depot has ZERO control over Andersens' defective products. I finally start blowing up corporate... they then want to send the defective door panel to home depot for US (the contractor or home owner) to disassemble THEIR (Andersens) defective product and try to fix it!?? lol.. WHAAAT? HELL NO. lol.. How about YOU (Andersen Windows and Doors) send YOUR OWN field service technician to disassemble your defective door and FIX it! It's not they were inexpensive!If I buy a BRAND NEW Mercedes, do you think if something breaks in 4-5 days they are going to send me the replacement part(s) 2.5 MONTHS later and tell me to install them!??I'm sorry... I thought Andersen was a reputable company that made quality products. Today, I am not impressed. They certainly have the money and the resources to fix these problems, so we'll see if they do. Corporate greed may prohibit them from either paying and hiring the quality employees to manufacture products that break less, or hire and train more field service technicians to warranty their products.No one wants to wait 2+ MONTHS for their brand new products to be fixed... especially since it was already installed! We were very close to ripping it back out, returning it and just buying a different door!So, there you go Andersen. Your move. You can't fix a problem you don't know that you have.. now you know. You're welcome.Let me know where to send you my bill for all of my TIME you wasted!Thank You.Unhappy Customer.

Most importantly, Andersen customer service experiences have only been outstanding. We had discovered cracked windows after installation once the stickers were peeled off, and they took care of our clients and sent out replacement custom windows immediately. 10/10 experience every time!

We were fortunate enough to choose Andersen Fibrex windows for a new home build we were doing in Magnolia, Texas. A few months after the windows were installed, we noticed a small crack in one of the window IGUs. We contacted a local Andersen rep and Michael Fathery came out to assist us. He ordered a new IGU and said he would like to also adjust and lubricate the eight casement windows when they replaced the IGU. A few weeks later his professional crew came out and did everything promised in a very timely and professional manner. I highly recommend Andersen for you or any friends or family that are considering a new home build or a window replacement package. You will not be sorry you chose Andersen!

I have 40 Andersen windows, 4 sliders and 5 transom windows in our new home. All the screens were boxed and piled in our basement! No idea which ones went where! Nathan C., from Andersen, was able to clearly direct me to the information on each door and window which helped me to correlate the screens accordingly. His help made a daunting task a piece of cake! Called Anderson Window and Door Technical Support today. These folks are rock stars! I needed assistance with my sliding patio door and they professionally directed me to the right video to make adjustments on my 30+ year old door. I also received a reasonable quote to replace the rollers.

I purchased a series 400 patio sliding door with shades in the glass panel in 2019. In March of 2024, after 5 years of flawless operation the shade got stuck in the track and would not budge.I called the Andersen help center to enquire if the shade could be repaired. After exchanging information the Andersen representative asked to obtain images of the actual door and specific issue.To my surprise, I was informed that a new, complete door replacement panel would be shipped to me in three to four weeks, free of charge, covered by their warranty.I am a very satisfied customer and will use only Andersen products for any door or window needs I may have in the future.Thank you.

We had Pavlick Shane came to us just for our house windows review and estimation. We bought this house an year ago so we did not know that in our house there were only few windows that were installed by Anderson Windows.When I expressed my concern about opening and closing function issues, he mentioned they are under warranty and he can get service visit scheduled. He did everything on his side as he promised.Service person came on scheduled time and date, and realized he need to order some parts and installer who can fix the window frame issue and install new parts. Again he did all the communication with his team and next visit got scheduled.3rd person who came on the scheduled date and time(I am sorry I forgot his name), and fixed the issues, he cleaned after work is done really well, we did not even realized he was in the house 4-5 hours and there was some work done.I was in a awe with that kind of customer service experience right from initial estimator, appointment scheduler and craftsman/installer.No yelling, no long phone discussions, no mess in the house, everything was very smoothly done, what a great experience!!

I had a problem with a casement window however Rachel the customer service person was very helpful She was able to receive photos of the problem and determine what i needed to fix it. She also called me back afterher system went down. We have had Anderson windows in our current home for over 20 years and they remain draft free and water tight. Customer service has always been helpful for any necessary service or parts, and they stand behind their warranty. When the time does come that windows need to be replaced, I would purchase Andersen windows again.

I love the product. But we had issues that required us to order replacement glass. Both times We were sent the wrong product in spite of sending the product label that identified it exactly. Additionally, it took 6 to 8 weeks each time we ordered. Just to get a replacement part and shipping was awful. We never received a notification of shipping. Literally dropped in front of our house if we hadn't been home! We had to order 2 separate times so it took several months. It was very painful and both times the item shipped was wrong and had to be re-shipped, yet another 6 - 8 weeks each time. I do like the product but I hope you don't have issues after installation. When we tried to figure out what had happened, that could not explain it. They said they couldn't understand what happened! At least they admitted to their fault. In the end they did make us happy. Also our larger screens were very sloppy. They replaced them on the warranty. I just ordered them today. Wonder how long they will take! (They can't give you an ETA either.) I love them they are pretty and very nice but I don't think I would order again because of our issues.

Excellent service, the technician helped me find the correct parts without any fuss. I have a 19 year old patio door and it has been great but after all these years I have to change the lock assembly, but who is counting. And as I said the telephone experience has been great. The web site videos are superb and also helped with the replacement selection

In general, help coming from an associate lacks any sort of personal touch. Makayla K is certainly the exception...which reflects positively on Andersen Windows. She was responsive, patient, knew how to phrase questions, provided great direction, and completed the recommendation. I highly recommend!!

I needed a small part related to the sliding screen door. The Anderson person walked me through the place on the window which has numbers imbedded in the glass to identifies the type of door. Once I provided those numbers, I was told the part was under warranty and that I would receive the part in a few days in the mail. It was truly a seamless process.
