Awesome food, Gayle is my favorite, LOVE her. Great atmosphere. We went with our friends, lots of great locals there. Drinks were fabulous, thank you Gordy for the wonder drinks and Gayle for the fabulous food!!

Cabins were mostly clean, aside from chex mix and potato chips under the couch cushions and a dirty sock under one of the beds. Beds were comfortable. The cabin was very run down with stained carpet, several holes and cracks in the walls and mold in the interior base of the walls. The heating system had a sulfur/fart smell which was kind of gross. Ice houses were functional, but very basic with uncomfortable chairs. Satisfactory guide service the first day (they checked in with us several times, gave us tips, and were genuinely kind). The second day was disappointing. We were not able to go out to deeper water because the heater was broken in their ice house, then the resorts plow truck broke so they couldn’t plow the road to get there. We were also told there would be bathrooms out on the ice, but there weren’t. We explained our disappointment to the bartender who checked us out. She indicated that they wanted to make this right, but that she had to talk to the owner first. She told me she would call me that afternoon after speaking with her, but she never called and has not returned any my calls. I do not recommend this place, and would not go back. They also do not follow the state wide COVID-19 mask mandate which was rather uncomfortable for us. We had a fun time spending time together, and had a great trip just sorry this was our first experience. We have a return trip planned with another resort in 2 weeks and we are really looking forward to it!

Cabins were very clean, staff is very polite and accommodating, fish house was nice and we even caught plenty of fish. They cooked some for us in the lodge and it was great. Nice cozy lodge.

We had a great time even though it was a very short time. It was a fun time I recommend Ed with wilderness adventures for a fishing guide trip with his launch . Ed works out of Bugsy’s.

I went to the taste of Italy night and I had very mixed feelings. Having been to Italy in the back areas not the tourist spots I have a good notion of true Italian experience. Now I'm not at all expecting that here at bugsys but what got was not well thought out. Three samplings came out and unfortunately they were on the same plate. This caused mixing to occur which took away from the dishes. The bowtie and cabbage were the star of the show when not contaminated by the marinara sauce of the other dishes. The rigatoni and sausage was lack luster at best with sausage chunks too large and the stuffed shells were severely over salted as if from a processed meal box. The tortellini soup tasted like it was from a can considering the salt level and the tiramisu was half frozen. The food was not inedible but it was definitely a let down but for 14 bucks you really can't complain too much. A more detailed restaurant would have easily charged 30 minimum. The atmosphere is excellent and the people oh so friendly. I'd try there regular menu but I would not go to another taste of Italy night.. drinks however won't disappoint you.

2 different cabins had dead mice in the walls and haven't been updated since the 60's. Fairly confident the plastic had just been removed from the 60's furniture ahead of our arrival. Using the toilet (#1) in 1 cabin causes backup of fecals (#2) into second toilet & shower. The specified cabin did appear updated and decent prior to being kicked out at 10pm into different cabins. Due to the inconvenience it was a struggle but they did knock a few bucks off the stay.

There's a new chef there thats killing the game right now. Fun specials, mouth watering cuisine, friendly people, clean cabins, strong drinks! Can't recommend highly enough.

Small resort on Bostic Creek on Lake of the Woods. Friendly staff and great food in their bar and grill. You will never meet a stranger here!

I like that we bring our fish to the bar and they will cook the fish and then serve the great meal and have a fish dinner with your fellow fisherman.
