I get my deer processed there and they do a very good job at a good price. Their bacon is fantastic, some of the best I've ever had. From what I understand their meat is all locally sourced, and processed in-house. It is as good as any I've had. I like stopping there on my way home from the cabin.

If you are in the market for breakfast sausage or bratwurst this is the place. For breakfast sausage be sure to try the maple, edge and "our own". They also have over 60 different brats. Love the wild rice jalapeno cheddar brats! Definitely worth the stop.

Great people who work at the locker. Always busy and doing something, also it smells heavenly when you walk in so that's a bonus. My ribeye was excellent think cut with great marbling. My husband says the butter prime rib beef sticks are amazing.

The Place for Meat Lovers!Every once in a while we splurge. Man does not live by grocery store meat alone. The Locker carries any kind of Steak or Pork you could possibly want. They also have a ton of different flavored Bratwurst. If you want brats with Gummy Bears 🐻 or Reese'sPieces, they have that. They also carry the more conventional flavors. Snack sticks, thick sliced bacon, anything you have a taste for. More pricey than the grocery store, but definitely worth the trip for a "high end" date with your grill.

They slaughtered, picked up, and processed 3 Red Wattle/Large Black cross pigs for us in October 2019. They smoked the hams and bacon and made sausage for us, as well. We are extremely impressed with everything they did. They are prompt and professional and they insured that our pigs were processed into the best pork we've ever eaten. The bacon and sausage are far superior to anything I've bought in a market. The chops are tender and moist. Well done, Backus Locker! We'll keep coming back.

My fiancé and I, Mike Southard, have gotten 2 bears and and elk processed here. They always have wonderful customer service and fantastic quality! We drive 2 hours one way to have our meat processed here and it is worth it every time!! They also have phenomenal items to buy in store, and have it ready quickly. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

A small town store where you can buy meat products or bring your kill in to have butchered. Emergency butchering available. We have had brats and brought beef in for butchering. It's a family business and they do a good job.
