Worst customer service ever. During the check-in process, they told me the cost would be $104 for the night. I told them I can book it for $84 online and they said “we can’t do that rate.” I then told them I booked it online and all was going well, until they told me the voucher from the 3rd party wouldn’t process on their end and they cancelled all my reservations.I’m questioning if this was canceled because I wasn’t paying the full rate, and she was upset. I assume I’ll have to dispute with my credit card now, but the customer service was the worst I’ve had in a long time.The general manager is awful. Don’t stay here. There are much better values elsewhere. I ended up with a handwritten note that I hope results in a refund.

It is an older budget hotel. But it was clean and is very well kept. Front desk staff was also very friendly. I would have no hesitation staying again.

Not a great experience. Was planning on staying 3 nights while attending a bluegrass festival. I returned from the festival on the afternoon of second day and could not get into my room. The manager who was not very friendly, leaning toward the rude side would not offer me any help, she just said I had to get out of my room as people were coming to check into it at 3pm. When I got home and checked my credit card charge I was charged almost $450, for 2 nights at a really below average hotel. The breakfast was actually worrisome as the milk and OJ were in opened containers, had no idea how long they were there. I brought my own breakfast. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Stopped for the night on my way from Bozeman to Ann Arbor. What can I say, the room was clean and comfortable, the ownership was friendly and accommodating, and the price was excellent. Great location with quick access to the interstate. I would definitely stay again if I was passing through and needed a comfy place to stay for the night.

Horrible smells overdose on the glade with extra smells under the beds. Opened windows to try to breathe. Runny nose instantly. Felt like they were covering up for a dead body in the building. Mostly dumping ground for possible homeless folks houses there, grown adults running down halls screaming kinda strange in night. Not very safe overall and got stuck there from work paying for it, no thanks never again! Fantastic place. Breakfast needs help but for free can't complain right? Owner is absolutely wonderful she is extremely hospitable and home town feeling person. Kimm the owner is absolutely lovely. She recently purchased this hotel (May 2022) and is working very hard to make it a home away from home for her guests. She treats guests as family. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. We will absolutely stay again at some point.

I was looking for a hotel on my way to northern MN. I looked all around and everyone wanted too much money for a place to lay my head for a night. I found the AmeriVu through Expedia. The rate for one night was much closer to my budget so I went for it.The hotel is being remodeled by the amazing new owner so don’t be dismayed if you see some things that need to be updated.The owner is very friendly (probably the most friendly I have ever dealt with) and the remodeling so far should give the community and visitors hope for what is to come.I didn’t get breakfast so I’m not sure how it was.I was also amazed to see the friendship that the owner and other staff had created with some of their regulars.I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something close to St. Cloud but at a decent rate.

When i walked into the lobby this time it was like a whole new hotel. New owners and management have definitely turned this place around. Just an all around better vibe. They were very friendly and accommodating. I dont think ive ever seen such a clean hotel room and it smelled incredible in my room when i walked in. Great Job to the new management!! I will without a doubt stay here again👍🏻👍🏻

We were pleasantly surprised at our stay here. Room was very clean and looked like it had been freshly painted, bedding also looked new, or well maintained/cleaned. Beds were very comfortable! Hotel was also very quiet. No issues with check in/out. Pet fee for our med size dog was very reasonable. The continental breakfast was basic: coffee, hot water for tea and a small selection of pastries, but that's fair for what a continental breakfast is and also the price point of this hotel. We will definitely stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Clean, cute room. Was hoping to find a sandwich behind the TV, but no dice. Beds were made. No complaints. Breakfast offering was a bit limited but they were up front about that at check-in. Wouldn't hesitate to go back, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I have never been in a lodging property that would rate worse than this. The smell rivaled a 100 year old tavern over sprayed with chemicals. My room's door didn't latch when closed. It did with the deadbolt engaged, but I couldn't leave the room and have it secured. The room was 84 degrees with outside temps in the 40s. It is allegedly a non-smoking property, but the years of smoking have done their damage. The place should be leveled and rebuilt. Their "smoking" area is 2 chairs adjacent to the front door. When leaving, I had to say excuse me to get another guest to move so I could get out. The owner claimed she was in process of buying the property. Hope she didn't pay more than $1.95 for it. Of course upon leaving, nobody around and with 24hr cancellation, no refunds allowed even if there was someone to talk to about it. Avoid at all costs - if its life or death, go to the hospital - you may end up there anyway with respiratory failure in this stench pit.

The hotel is ran by new owners. We stay here every year for hunting. Good location and friendly owners. We couldn't get the heat to turn down in the room so we opened a window. Hopefully the place gets a little love that it has been needed for years now.

We came in at midnight, we were told they wouldn't honor the online price. I literally walked back out to my truck, paid online, and came back in. The lady working the front desk was barefoot and rude. She gave us a key, we went to the room and opened the room on someone sleeping! Went back to the desk she kind of laughed it off... We got a different room. After midnight at this point. Filthy room, crud on carpet and nasty bathtub. Would not recommend staying here. Wish I could post a photo of the bathroom I took. We left by 6a.m.

It's a very good value for the money. It's a modest, budget friendly spot and don't expect it to be the Ritz. We brought a team of H.S. athletes in for a weekend at St John's University. The AmeriVu Inn is by far the closest location to the school and the owner/operators could not have been more friendly and helpful. We booked 15 rooms - must have been half the building - and we had no complaints!

If I could I would give this minus stars, it was unclean, not ready and they screwed up our reservations off the bat. They changed the peoples reservations to king sized bed instead of two singles. We are a company so no one wanted to sleep in the same beds as our coworkers. They were rude because we didn't understand why they had moved our rooms and why half of them weren't clean.

An older hotel but comfortable and clean. The lady on the front desk did everything she could to make us feel at home. You couldn't ask for more. We had a simple breakfast of toast and cereal and plenty of coffee to send us on our way. Avon is a lovely town and Joanie at the Buckhorn bar in town will make you welcome.

Don't count on the vending machines to have any snacks in them! The room was fairly clean, the continental breakfast could use an update. It was a place to crash. The cafe downtown had a great breakfast though!

This hotel is out of date and ownership is not responsive to current needs of the community businesses. I will not recommend any of our customers to stay here. Don't try and shower when others are, as the hot water heater is small. Don't use both beds in a double room or they will not be happy. If you forget a toiletry, they'll let you have some used stuff.
