My senior pit bull (a rescue) had what may have been her first-ever groom this a.m., and I could not be more pleased with the groomers at Pet Authority! They patiently walked me through the whole process, listened to everything I had to say about my dog's temperament and behaviors, and were able to complete the groom a lot more quickly than I expected. I was pretty anxious about how this might go, but staff were compassionate and lovely to work with every step of the way. 💞

For the last 5 years I've driven to Albert Lea to get my dog's food. So happy to have Pet Authority in Austin now! The people at both locations are very friendly and knowledgeable. We brought our boxer in last week and they treated her like family.

I absolutely love pet authority! It is by far the best pet store I have ever shopped at. The employees are so sweet, knowledgeable and helpful. They have always helped me carry out my dog food or bags when needed. I highly recommend going there if you ever need anything for your pets!

Rude customer service and Poor Engagement with AnimalsToday, I was in the store with my dog and son. An employee (long hair, red shirt, middle age, blue jeans) was curt. It was obvious she was having a bad day and her mood was sour as I asked for help finding a grooming comb. But this mood lead to a very poor judgement error that has cost the store my business. My dog and another dog were sniffing one another. No aggressive or skittish behaviors were occurring from either dog. I do not know what she was thinking but she actually kneed my dog! I am so angry!! Nothing warranted that!!! I don't care if my dog is bigger!! This is not the type of training from any employee or owner of a pet store should engage in. I will be sharing my story with everyone I can. DO NOT patron this store.8/10 Response to Store1. An apology is offered sincerely without placing blame on the person your are apologizing to.2. I expect better client engagement from a store specializing in pets. My dog may not have yelped but hid behind me. When you approached he peed. He was obviously scared of you. My dog was rescued from an abusive situation. He did not to feel trauma again in space that should have been safe.3. I expected adults to be able to use words first. Kneeing my dog before anything happened was aggressive.

Impressed with this store..I keep aquariums and went specifically for the that..they did not have a large quantity of tropical fish but they had a decent selection for what they did have. Also a fairly decent selection of aquarium products...for beginners and experienced aquarium keepers..We took our dog Charlie and he was welcomed in the store..we also picked some food for him..they had a lot of all the pet supplies anyone needs for dogs, cats, reptiles and many more pets...
