Great little grocery store and very convenient if you are on the east side of Austin. The prices are a little higher than the big box stores, but you can beat the convenience! I would recommend the fried chicken and their potato salad! I hope you try it out.

I love it. Its a smaller grocery store that has a great atmosphere. They have all the items you need. And the prices are no more than the largers grocers. Best meat in town! And ya dont have to bag your own groceries!

Great local grocery store. They have a good variety of items, and they have fresh meals in the back that are delicious. It’s usually not very busy here, the workers are also friendly and helpful if you can’t find something.

Known for great Beef. Jim's has been around for years. Walmart vowed to put it out of business. The same with Hy-Vee. Jim's is a East side of town icon. I would like to see more weekly food shopping. Most residents in the neighborhood are loyal.

Very nice store. At the meat counter in the back of the store. The fried chicken and homemade potato salad is to die for!. Best that I have had. They have other food/ salad selections to choose from.Staff pleasant, professional, helpful. Store always clean.Would recommend.

I shop for meats here. Very affordable for small packs enough for 2. I can spend about $40 bucks on pork, beef and chicken that will last us for over 2 weeks.

Limited selection of brand name items. Higher than average prices. Great meat department, fresh fruit & vegetables are perfect! Oh, and the deli items are real yummy with their boasted chicken, best in town

I bought four avocados at $1.49 ea.they were all bad , my dog walk lead my by later at 5:30 told the blonde Mgr girl asked if I could get credit since I was going to purchase a couple of more items.Do I have receipt no do I have the bad avocados no I'm one a dog walk didn't know I was going to be here again.Don't think I'll be back either.That's not how I would have handled it.

Store has bugs in its foods. Vegetables are old and soft. Look lik they have been there for awhile. Longer than intended. Not sanitary at all. Most of the meets look like they are aging right in the packaging. They have high prices and poor quality food. barely have any staff to ring food up or to assist customers in store. In need of help clearly. I was just in there yesterday.

Jim's is a medium size grocery store. It doesn't take hours to get through, which is great for busy people. The produce is always fresh and doesn't need to sit on the counter to get ripe. Love the deli. Try the Summer Fresh salad, it's my favorite. The broasted chicken is the best in town. They have really good sales on their meats as well. Check it out.

Jim's has been a mainstay in Austin since they were a small corner market on 5th Ave NE and the move to the Eastside and then to the new location on the Eastside. The deli still makes the same delicious sandwiches and pita pockets as they did then. I believe the same lovely lady who makes them now is the same lovely lady who made them when I was a child. (: She's definitely an asset to the store as she's always so kind and helpful, and my kid adores her (or maybe he likes her awesome fried chicken!). A little bit high priced on some items but it issuper convenient and we do a lot of grocery shopping and picking up last minute things here. Double check expiration dates!.

Give my roommate a ride to get some groceries. On the end the cashier asked for money like there not enough on food stamp card. So I was going to pay difference my roommate said that wrong there was more on it. Then cashier gave me money back and said he accidentally overcharged the ebt card and got little more money back to?

Everything costs WAY more than anywhere else. Their pop is like always flat and close to/past the expiration date too. Why anyone would shop here is beyond me. People at register are weird too. If you're upset with minimum wage being where it is, come to this place and see why it should actually be lowered. Some people don't even possess the skill set to say "hello" and "have a nice day".

More salt- free options needed such as soups, deli items, and organic fruit needed. Good customer service except for lady who poo- pooed my mom and my choice on getting pickled beets at deli counter. They should also know the ingredients in the deli items when asked.

It's a smaller grocer but it well stock. I thinks it's more the people who live and work on the east side of Austin a good well stocked vegetable section real good meat and Delhi and frozen food of different types. You can also get money orders stamps you can get carpet shampooers.

The owner is super friendly. A great place to shop when you don't want to walk all the way to the back of a store for some almond milk. Staff is extremely helpful, and well informed.

Very high prices. Prices are double the price as Hy-Vee or Walmart. I bought a loaf of bread and the next day it was all moldy. For the price I paid it should not have happend. The meat is some times out of date or close to it.

Mid size grocery store, which is very convenient to the NE and SE part of Austin. Their prices are very competitive with HyVee the main grocery store in town. The store is clean. A broad range and variety of grocery items.

Jim has some of the best cuts of meat in Austin. His prices on his meat products are cheaper than the other stores in the area.

Wow. Will never be shopping here ever again. Very, very upset. Had to throw away half of the food. Disgusting produce, tortillas literally all had mold on them, expired cereal. This is ridiculous.

My main grocery. Not a huge box store grocery. But it has everything that l want or need pretty close to where l work so it's more convenient then going clear on the other side of town and less traffic to fight.
