Walking into the store was unwelcoming. There was 3 female employees stand in front talking loud and swearing. The females did not welcome any customers. It was hard to push a cart around with stuff in the way. Not much stuff on the shelves. This is now the 3rd time my family and I shopped at the store and was not welcomed, lots of swearing, rude employees, and the smell of marijuana.

Dollar General is so convenient. In to get what you want and out ya go so quickly!I must say the employees are what makes the store delightful! They are so helpful, polite, and down to earth! I've yet to meet the manager of the store but I'm sure she's just like everyone else!I recommend this store for all your basic food need. Plus they have a nice selection of cell phones, greeting cards, crafting supplies, home goods, decor, clothing, shoes, baby supplies, great selection of beauty and bathroom products for men and woman, cleaning products, paper products, and so much more! Great store!

They were suppose to be making a management change here for the better, and I can honestly say the management change is worse. I go there nearly 3 to 4 times a week before work and sometimes during work. The manager Ron is rarely in the store he's always out smoking, and will make you wait for him to finish his cigarette. If he happens to be in the store he's hiding In the office and you have to go find him or yell for him to get assistance. Most unprofessional business in austin

I go there 3-4 times a week. Almost every time there is absolutely no staff working. And multiple people waiting in line while the manager is either in the back or out smoking. It is new management, I thought the old was bad…. But this is just ridiculous. Hopefully they figure something out or people won’t go there anymore, myself included.

Jesus man what a scam. Monsters were posted 2 for 4, so i got 4, was charged almost 10 dollars. Jack links were post for 1 dollar, they charged 2.65, snickers were posted 1.25, they charged 1.95. All in all my total, before tax, should have been 12.50. I pointed it out, they said they were gonna fix it. They fixed one item and charged 16.95 before tax. I was fed up with arguing so I left.

Very nice and clean store. Employees were very helpful and courteous. Recommended for any age to do their shopping. Plenty of parking available. Only thing I saw that needed to be fixed and marked properly is the handicap spots. There are no signs posted and parking spaces are not properly marked.

I'm pretty sure I can buy everything on the store cheaper somewhere else. Nothing stood out to me as a value deal. Only smaller sizes of things I can get at the regular size for Penny's more somewhere else. The cashier seemed to either be just learning or poorly suited for the job. I had to stand in line to pay for what seemed like forever.

I came into your store in Austin and I am extremely unhappy with your store clerk and the way I was treated I had a five dollar coupon that was not honored and the lady was unsure of why it could of been everything was taken off or it could be I didn’t reach the 25 dollar limit even though the total was 26 I was looking forward to the store opening but will never come back Her coworker was trying to make excuses for her but I work in a store that expects us to give good customer service no matter what and I expect the same wherever I go. I am not pleased with my shopping experience here and will never come back

The newest "dollar" store in Austin. Has a wide selection of items from groceries, to household, to clothing. Some items are priced for a dollar, but most are priced above. The store is busy, but the staff work hard to keep things stocked, the store clean, and they are very helpful and friendly.

Stocking was low on some items, but for the most part I was able to quickly find what I wanted and to look around for future visits. Staff was friendly.

For certain things I was looking for this place beats running around Walmart. Also, there things there on there shelves you don't see in the stores anymore.Example Cambells cream of potato soup,yum
