There is so much variety here, you can find sl mang things at great prices!! The employees are very helpful & welcoming. I will definitely go back soon to see what new items they have & stock up on the great deals!!

The dollar general in this town is generally a good place to shop. However, today I picked up two dozen eggs for $2.70, a reasonable price. I hand the cashier a twenty and get back $17.30 in change receiving a nickle and a quarter. After I get home I thoroughly inspect the change and realize that I have received a Canadian quarter. US banks will not accept this currency and I would be told to find a different coin at most fine establishments. I wouldn't be that upset, however the exchange rate means the 25 cents is worth 19 cents in the US. Now I have the choice of either pawning it off on someone else or waiting to go to the great white north one day to exchange it.

Store management doesn't seem to mind if their employees date the local costumers ,married or not. Sets a great example for our children to see growing up.
