This is a fun store! If you are into freight/overstock/clearance stores you will live this little shop in Anoka! Items are constantly changing and the prices are very good! It's a small shop but it's jam packed with savings.

Over priced jokes in a box more like it!I couldn't find a employee the whole time I was in there. The few items I was interested in did not have prices on them. Was not happy with this stores location what so ever.

I love Open Box Buys! They always have 1 or 2 essential items I need, like dish scrubbers and they even sell the separate refill sponges @ $1.99. I haven't purchased any of their furniture, but they always have some unique & nice looking pieces at good prices!

Would have given it 5 stars except they charge 20.00 per day if you don't pick up your merchandise within a week, even on days their are closed, which is enough time. However I am a senior and had extenuating circumstances. So I had to pay 140.00 extra. 😔

SO much to see and inventory changes constantly. GREAT products and the staff were helpful and friendly until they had to kick me out as the doors closed for the day. Highly recommend!

Traveled 34 minutes and although we found a few reasonably priced things, overall wouldn't say worth the drive. Very disorganized, isles very tight due to product on floors. Many things priced as if they were brand new but boxes damaged. We purchased a toy for my nephew and got home and found it was missing all the bullets so he couldn't even play with it, it wasnt marked saying missing pieces. Not likely to go back.

A place to shop for slightly damaged items due to shipping or open box returns. Nice big discount on nice items. I mainly use store to buy toys presents for kids. They have many things such as furniture, cooking wares or devices, cleaning things, to household items.

Pros: Lots of unique & cool finds. The stuff is mostly new / somewhat questionable new (you can return the stuff, but they have furniture in boxes & it’s not 100% sure if you have al of the parts) returns can only happen if you have receipt- btw! But things are priced accordingly, which is great!Cons: there is an older lady who was working beside the guy who was cashiering. She was super polite. The vibe that I got was that she was just the “bag lady”, but the lady in front of us at check out grabbed 8 cleaning products & the sign said that you can grab a box that contains 8- so she had left the cart (in front of us & it remained) while the lady grabbed the box & then grabbed a different cart to bring outside with her to unload her 2-3 bags she did have plus the box of cleaning products she got instead of the individual products. I don’t think it was really great customer service for her to A) not go grab the box & then swap out the carts for the lady who mistakenly read the sign wrong & B) leave the cart there, when we were going to check out- my mom moved the cart next to it (because we worked retail, so she understood) & C) why is an employee standing there bagging when there was clearly boxes in the aisles that needed to be unloaded on the shelf- which is something that should be handled because then more sells on the shelves versus someone digging through the boxes!!Either way, other than poor customer service that I witnessed, I would definitely go back here! Lower than retail prices & amazing products & clothes! Great unique finds!

First off great stuff at a great price. That was nice but why I am doing this review is the conversation I had with the owner when I was there. Just a great guy. Very helpful and kind and it made me think of the days when we had a friendship with our local merchants. It was an experience I will not soon forget.

I usually don't wtite reviews but i was happy to find out this store only to realise most big items are same price with store or very close unlimited a typically discount store. I was looking to get a booster seat for my son and the price was so high i had to go get it at target at the same price listed in the store, Makes me wonder if all items are really discounted, i buy open box at other stores and they're usually at a very very discounted price.For small items, it's a good place and will still love to check in once in a while and that's my reason for the 3 stars but you may be disappointed if you're really looking to get a very good deal on big items.

They advertise their products at more than 50% off retail which is completely untrue... in fact a lot of the items you can get cheaper other places. For example, bluetooth headsets/gaming headphones are listed at $12.99 and the exact ones are only $5 at 5 below. The cheapest couch was $500. Toys are the same as anywhere else. It was really "hit & miss" and disappointing and false advertising.

Purchased a few pieces of furniture and electronics to furnish our new home we recently purchased. AJ and team were super helpful by loading our furniture for us unexpectedly. We were stuck in traffic due to construction near Anoka and they said they’d stay after close if needed for us to pick up our purchase (we had to come back with a truck). The kindness was beyond! We love our purchases and they’ve all been quality pieces that really add to our home. The prices felt right for the purchases made, everything seemed brand new at a discounted rate- what a steal! Thanks Aj and team!

This has become my go to store for almost anything. You can find great things for reasonable prices. Joe, the owner, is very nice and helpful. Even though he has stopped giving me discounts lol, I still love going there.

A bunch of over priced junk. You really have to pay close attention. Most things were not cheaper than a regular store and a lot of items were damaged.

Bought a fair amount of toys here for Christmas for children. Lego sets were missing entire bags of the toys. Some boxes I opened and were empty. It’s clear they aren’t doing any quality control and are trying to package up whatever junk they can and sell it for as much as they can

Hp mouse retailed at 11.99 at walmart ,ebay, and one other place . I asked if he would accept a 5$ dollar offer n right away he said " no way i cant do that ,they are 20 bucks " so i proceeded to inform him and then showed him that they were 10.99 at walmart and ebay. He seemed receptive to what i just showed him, so i asked again if he would accept my offer, and he said " no , at that rate id be losing money" . So my point is make sure you do your homework if buying from this store they dont seem to be as thrifty as they advertise . We all wanna make a a dollar but to misrepresent to do it is only gonna hurt your business Mr!! Happy valentines day to EVERYONE! ThatsAll~

Great selection of open box goods! Some of the prices were incredible deals! Make sure you've got time when you stop by as there is plenty of inventory to look through! Bedding deals are fantastic!

The $1, bins are my favorite...and the only reasons i even go most times, because i know im going to find many $1 "steals"...without spending all my $. There are amazing deals throughout the entire store though too...and the man behind the counter is not afraid of haggling with anyone...

I didn't even want to give a one-star that was the only way I could write a review they have a very bad customer service and they will not let you return anything if it's a double gift of something you already have unless it's broken or missing pieces they are a joke and I tell everybody I know not to go there and they don't I still have the product I bought it brought it back two days later and I still would like to return it but you guys won't take it back just because I don't need it because it was a double gift because I already have the identical cooking equipment or whatever you want to call it but I already have one I got it as a gift so I don't need it but when I brought it back two days later you guys refuse to take it back that's not good business

Wow, what a disappointing experience in the store, everything is close to retail pricing even though the boxes are destroyed, not a great selection either. If you are looking for a retail outlet, I highly recommend MN Retail Outlet in Big Lake, a bit of a drive, but a far superior discount shopping experience

Joe is Amazing and goes out of his to make sure you leave a happy customer.When I purchased a car battery charger and jumper I had no use to pull it out for use for months. When I tried to trickle charge a car battery I discovered merchandise did not work.I brought it back more than 6 months later without a receipt and Joe's mechanic stopped what he was doing and trouble shooted the charger Jright on the spot. He unscrewed a panel and saw that a plug inside the charger was not connected. It was a very simple fix and the charger works fantastic now.There was also a situation where I had purchased Roto Tiller in the fall and again had no use for it until the following spring. The merchandise was still in its unopened box and price tagged. When spring arrived it was necessary for me to empty out the shed. Upon doing so I discovered that I had purchased the exact same tiller from Home Depot which was also still in its unopened box.I had paid $125 on sale for the tiller from Home Depot. The tiller I purchased from The Open Box store cost $75.I could no longer return the Home Depot merchandise, so I had to accept that I had paid too much for that tiller.Joe again was amazing and took back the tiller for a full cash refund. But of course I had to meander through the store and purchased around $250 more in merchandise.The products are always changing. So if you don't find what you're look for let Joe know and he will keep an eye out for the item.I am also a sugar feane. Joe gets in all sorts of snacks and bottled energy drinks. He sells them for around 25 cents to $1 at times. Last time I stocked up on my favorite snack shortbread cookies that are found in vending machines or given away on the airline. I paid 25 cents for what would cost $1.25 in a vending machine or thru a cafeteria line.They also have a good range of clothing and shoes at great value.So before hitting the hardware store or department store for linens or, the Super stores like Target and Walmart for general shopping, make sure to stop by the Open Box Buy store. ( Joe does not carry fresh perishables )There is a good chance you will be able to make the Open Box store a one stop shopping experience AND with wonderful service to boot!P. J. Bach, Andover MN

High prices and too crampedI'm referring to everything.some of your prices are higher than retailers.im not trying to come off negatively, I like your store, just not your prices.if yu want to sell then lower them.thats all.yu would do better biz if yu did.as far as cramped, it's too cramped.makes it too awkward to b in there.just suggesting ..if yu make it comfy then people will enjoy it and want to come back...
