Absolute disaster in employees that don't know what they are doing .Mess up orders time after time and then tell you the order is ready and it's not.Went in there 3 times because they said it was done but it wasn't. PD for merchandise the first time in and finally the fourth time days later it was ready and they tried saying it wasn't paid for yet .showed email as proof and wasn't good enough for them .told them I lived 35 mins away but they didn't careStill wanted me to drive a fifth time just for a receiptDo NOT recommend this place

Horrible customer service in pharmacy. Only gave half my daughters prescription, told me they will have more tomorrow. I came back the next day. They said it wasn't ready, so I waited more than 20 minutes before asking hour much longer. Lady tells me the can't fill it until Sunday because of insurance. It was a 10 day antibiotic and they only gave me 5. I don't live nearby. They could have told me right away instead of letting me just sit there. What a joke. Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Horrible employees.

Almost every time I go there there's an issue with the cashier (unreasonably slow, doesn't know what cigarettes are, etc). I've heard employees/managers whining loudly about their jobs. This is the most unprofessional convenience store I've been to.

I would give them a negative 6 if I could,besides long waits,I've gotten other peoples meds,so has my neighbor so has my dad.thrn when I got there when they opened they would not give me my dad's meds,I'm his caregiver,we have the same last name they could have called and I had to take my dad who just got released from the hospital because they said my id wasn't good enough.i switched to thrifty long ago and my Dad switched to after this last thingThey are the worst and then they almost didn't give my dad's id back.if it was super busy maybe? I was the only one there.the worst!

Took a good 5 minutes to get assistance, and it didn't seem busy really at all from where I was standing. Though the lady was quick and helped me locate something, something I had searched for a good 5 minutes for. Lol. There is no reason I would try to sway anyone from going there, but it wouldn't be my first recommendation if asked.

I have been waiting 3 days for an important medication and can’t seem to get accurate information on when it will be available.. staff is not very helpful or friendly and the Alexandria location never has your prescription.. if they do have it your told a half hour and it’s more like2-31/2 hours.. I have never dealt with such an incompetent place and been with Walgreens for years.. I’m currently seeking a new pharmacy.. I have them one star only because zero was not an option

Set up appointments for myself wife and son to all be tested for covid and after a twenty five minute wait in line ten at the window we were finally told that the paperwork wouldn't be ready for a half hour. They should definitely have more people on staff to work the window and it should be a better setup for the testing in my opinion your not going there for a test because you feel good usually I doubt most will like being turned away for another 30 minutes

Prescription refills seldom ready on time even a day after submitted.Hours of operation are short and even contrary to posted hours.My wife had spinal surgery and pain meds are still not ready on second day and now pharmacy is closed - - again. Back to Wal-Mart where 20-25 min is the norm.

Incompetent….. Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to, avoid getting prescriptions filled here at all cost, especially if electronically sent. They aren’t computer literate at this Walgreens location. Almost a week to get prescriptions filled with multiple check ins and was told multiple excuses as to why prescriptions weren’t filled. After experiencing this I’ll NEVER trust Walgreens to fill my prescription again. This location is convenient for everyday things and the photo department but the pharmacy should be shut down for incompetence

Horrible Pharmacy service. My prescription is delayed every month and now it's delayed by 2 days, called to get an update and they'll be closed until Monday. That'll be 5 days late on my daily medication IF it's in stock Monday. I don't know how it can be negligence in medical fields can be legal. I'll be looking further.

I understand being short staffed and all. But the least you could do is update your website, Google, and phone systems with your shortened hours. They all say the pharmacy is open until 9pm, but you close it at 6pm. I made a special trip to Alexandria just to pick up an rx that I couldn’t even do!

Seriously if anyone knows of a good pharmacy let me know.I’ve had people here tell me my meds were ready, and when I got there they weren’t I had to wait for them to get them ready.Also, some meds they said they had ready were out of stock. And they told me they don’t contact your doctor to order refills... after they told me they already contacted my doctor and my scripts were ready.I cry every time I have to deal with these people. I could die if I don’t take my meds everyday, and I do everything to order them on time, and still I go without. Horrible service

Wonderful fully stocked drug and personal goods store. I have not used the pharmacy section. However, the photofinishing department does a great job at an amazing value when you take advantage of special pricing offers. This store is good for greeting card shopping and great for seasonal shopping, such as candy. Always special pricing going on.

My husband gets his rx at Walgreens. Everytime he goes pick it up he has to wait. He calls it in sometimes days early but yet still has to wait for his scrips. Why do you have a call in number if you don't fill it til the customer is there? The prices aren't cheaper and the staff isn't that friendly. I have my perscriptions at trumm drug and am so thankful. I know if my husband didn't have to be there he wouldn't. Come Janurary he hopes not to be. At trumm they know his name and do whatever they can to help. I know there is staffing problems and retail is not easy but not caring makes ten times worse.

If only could do a zero stars!! Do NOT come to the pharmacy if you can avoid it. Pharmacy is the WORST Dept!! I had to do their job on filling a medication because of laziness. I understand being busy but they don't do their job unless you stay on top of them!!

Curbside pickup service is terrible. I requested it online and waited over an hour and a half for the follow up e-mail to tell me when it was ready & give me further instructions on picking drive through or curbside. When I got fed up waiting, I drove to the store and called and they told me they have no way to charge me for curbside pickup even though I already entered all of my info online. Either don’t offer it, or train your employees on how to do it properly.

Update: we got them on the phone and they said it was ready. We drove to Walgreens. We waited for a half hour in line for them to say it’s not going to be ready for at least another hour. I've never had a good experience here! Never! They do not call if there's a problem. They say they're working on it but don't until you show up and make them. They underfilled my Rx and then demanded that I pay for their mistake. Every. Single. Time. I regret every interaction. GET NEW MANAGEMENT!!! THE WORST PHARMACY I'VE EVER BEEN TO!

Customer service at this location, is one of the worst that I've ever seen. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. There are many other locations within this area that will do a far better job with your pharmaceutical needs. Please contact any of them. Would have rated them less than a one star.

Call me during work so when I do call back. Hooked up to a confusion of, why they called me in the first place. I am a busy person I don't have much time to waste, because I don't even get much time to myself. So then I got to go down there in person and waste my time. Still don't know why they called. I prefer "Tom thumb" they don't waste my time and they do not call me at work unless it's something very important about my medication And when I call back or show up in person they know what they called me for.

Got prescribed Adderall and they won't take steps to renew my med and now since they didn't contact my doctor I am withdrawing for the week end. Lost a loyal customer because the wouldn't work to fix the problem but only telling me what they 'couldnt' do.

Least helpful pharmacy I've been to. I couldn't find what I was looking for. Stood in line for 10 minutes without being helped. Finally found an employee who was completely not helpful or knowledgeable about the store. Don't waste your time here.

Went from Savage Walgreens to this Walgreens it's the absolute worst. Texts gets sent says it's ready then you have to drive around the building 3 to 4 times while they fill. Try to call in the lot of the time I'm on hold. The meds are supposed to be synced up but aren't.. complete opposite from the other..

The worst Pharmacy in Alexandria. You would be better off buying your meds illegally than going here to get your prescription drugs. They have 5-8 people working, but they don't know what they're doing. I mean I could go back there with no experience and they probably would hire me. The pharmacist went to dum dum school. Don't get your prescriptions refilled here.

Been treated very rudely multiple times by the same staff member. My medications have also not been filled multiple times when told they were ready.
