My family have been Columbia fans for years. We live in Minnesota and I have loved the quality and warmth Columbia gear has provided. However my last experience purchasing with them is prompting me to look for winter clothes elsewhere. I purchased 2 coats for my kids online but failed to see where I code enter a coupon code. Immediately after I accidentally placed the order without the coupon I reached out to costumer service. Even though I literally placed the order minutes ago, they said they couldn’t help apply the coupon code or cancel the order. The costumer service person was rude and basically told me it was my fault because it asks for the coupon code twice. I asked if there was anything else I could do or someone else I could talk to. They told me the only thing I could do was place another order and then return the original one. Very annoying but even more so when I found out returns aren’t free. Of course the costumer service rep didn’t mention this either. So now I have to pay an extra money to ship back this order (also bc I paid via PayPal and I am not allowed to return in store). Overall I’m just frustrated and regretting placing an order at all. Next time I’m opting for a company with better costumer service.

Great store with so much stock AND variety (both tops and bottoms) of apparel for both men and women (children too but we didn't shop it) the sales associates were great-nice and friendly, helpful without being pushy or obnoxious. We found some great deals to get us ready for back to school and we know the pieces we purchased will hold up for a long time to come.

I've shopped here since it first opened. The discounts are unbeatable. Today we found a good pair of durable and comfortable shoes for our 12 year old. The lines were very long, but we left satisfied.

It's funny when the clearance store next door has higher prices than the regular outlet store. No real bargains to be found in any of the two though.

Nice store. OK selection. Average prices. Not a lot of deals. Good quality clothes if you find something you like and it fits. Nice and helpful staff. You do have to ask a staff member to unlock a dressing room if you want to try something on.

Buyers beware of $20 gift cards for spending $100+! I purchased a new coat and received a $20 gift card for spending greater than $100. I bought my wife a fleece for Christmas, $24.99, and paid the difference of $4.99. My wife returned the item because she didn’t like the style and color. I received credit of $4.99! I didn’t receive credit for the total purchase of $24.99! The workers on duty told be that I didn't use a “gift card”. The $20.00 could not go toward my new purchase. So I received a credit of $4.99 that was applied to my new purchase. What a joke! I will never shop at Columbia again. I’ll go down a few more stores going forward and shop at North Face. The North Face items are better quality and they don’t screw over the consumer!

I used to get so many good deals here. Not so much anymore. Less outlet/discounts and more regular retail store. Go often enough and you'll find some deals, however.

Had to go get a replacement fleece jacket as the Columbia one I bought at Kohl's broke the zipper in the dryer. Hoping this one holds up better. Also bought a nice jacket on clearance and some yoga pants. Love looking for deals here.

Lot of variety. You have multiple options to choose from and the shoes, they are the best. I bought one 3-in-1 interchange and a pair of shoes for $150. I am quite happy with my shopping. The staff were really attentive. One suggestion, when it gets crowded, the shoe section becomes a bit messy, lot of shoes here and there on the ground. May be a bit of customer awareness might go a long way.

The outlet has great deals above and beyond the regular factory outlet pricing from time to time. You can save a ton if you hit it at the right time. Up to date clothes, not last year's styles.

Customer service is always excellent 👍👍Only reason I gave 4 star is because being an outlet store sometimes I'll find the right style but can't find my size and vice versa. Definitely will keep visiting this Columbia every time I'm at Albertville Outlet 😁👍✌

Worst customer service ever! The check out lady was so rude she almost had me in tears. It was my first outing (without my husband) with my little infant so I was already nervous and her snotty behavior made it 10 times worse. I had a $20 coupon that I had on the tablw but forgot to hand it to her until she said the total (before I had paid for it), then she said well you should have given that to me sooner (I never did get to use it)..along with a few other snotty comments. I'm sorry I have an infant and my mind is not exactly there and need a new winter jacket because my old one doesn't fit post pregnancy. She could have been a lot nicer about it.. It was my first time at a columbia store and I will likely never go back... let's learn how to be nice and accommodating to customers!

As of Nov. 2021, this store permanently closed their dressing rooms. No place to try clothes on. Not ideal for wanting to buy a pair of pants and when you live 2 hours from the closest Columbia store. Not going to shop here anymore.

Store never has anything in stock above a 1x, except in mens. Dont appreciate being told to just wear a mens when they fit me like a dress because I asked them if they could order a bigger size.

It's a busy store but to be expected at an outlet mall. I've bought two jackets and boots at this location and am extremely pleased. Great sale prices and the product is top notch. Don't forget to check the bargain rack.

Over crowed clothing racks made it hard to look at items on clearance racks. Unable to try things on so left empty handed. Drive to far to come back and exchange. Other stores allow open fitting rooms.

staff was very rude went looking for an interchangeable jacket but all they had was medium and the occassional large so asked if their were located anywhere else in the store the male employee rudely snapped that what was on the floor is what was avaliable but we could look at the mens section and might be able to maybe find something to fit there. kind of felt like he was making a jab at me implying i was fat. there was a female employee next to him that was laughing at his comment and finally said to try going elsewhere to find something more my size. was not pleased with the disrespectful comments

Went into the store last week and spent over $600. Went back a week later to purchase boots and gloves and found that everything I bought last week was on sale by at least 30.00 each item. They wouldn’t honor the new prices. Won’t be spending anymore money there. Goodbye Columbia hello north face!

Columbia as brand is great for their winter ware... I did find most of what I needed... however it would be great if they could introduce more winter protective ware for kids under 3... Like gloves and better jackets for the ones that goto pre-school...

Very happy with my purchases, it was busy but I got what I wanted and in the right size. Staff were helpful and lines moved quickly.
