Previous stays have been okay. However, this summer moving back into a job in the area we have had several issues in the few weeks we have been back. All cleaning is by request, though 3 of our rooms have had signs of someone being in there. One coworker had his shower head moved oddly, and a couple other things, which was weird but not too concerning.A second coworker came into his room to find his refrigerator wide open and his food warm and spoiled.Then a laptop, left by the bedside was tampered with. It was locked out from too many attempts inputting the pin.Another coworker claimed to see a housekeeper eating food from one of our rooms as well, again when no cleaning was requested. Same coworker had a knock on the door asking if he wanted any cleaning, he said no. After which he left and came back to find her in the room anyways.We decided just to leave to another hotel in St. Cloud. Before leaving we went to let the manager know what we had happen and we were blown off. Evidently he only has one housekeeper and it's just not possible. So I guess we are wrong and things just messed with themselves.Perhaps your experience may differ, but we are not comfortable staying there anymore. Most hotels would have at least heard our problems, especially how many rooms we get for the length we typically stay, but there was no interest in that.Breakfast was okay, and one of the women at the front desk was always very kind and made an effort whenever there was an issue.

My wife and I stayed here on our wedding night, which was a very poor decision on our part. We reserved a courtesy block of rooms for any of our family members that needed a room. The hotel didn't understand that a courtesy block should be removed before our stay, so they could provide that room to different guests. They tried to charge us a couple thousand dollars, an hour before our wedding, for all the rooms in the block... They literally called my wife as we were getting ready. Needless to say she wasn't happy, but I figured I wouldn't write a review at that time.Recently we went to the hotel to visit my family that were staying in the hotel for the night. We were immediately confronted by a really rude front desk employee that pretty much told us we couldn't be at the hotel to visit. He demanded that we paid 7 dollars per person to go into the pool, and was very snarky during the entire exchange.I will never step a foot in that hotel again, and I would highly recommend that you find a different hotel. The 20 minute drive to St. Cloud would be worth your time.

Stayed for the weekend from Fri through Sun. We did not know there was so much construction happening prior to booking or even before checking in. The interruptions were minimal and Dinesh helped our group throughout the weekend. The pool area and breakfast areas were clean and available for us to use. Typical continental breakfast with cereal, breads to toast, yogurt, and pancakes. Overall positive experience. The renovations will definitely give the entire building an updated, modern look and feel. Really appreciate all of the front desk staff and Dinesh!!Walkability: Just across the street from A&W, Subway, and a gas station. Just a couple blocks from the Main Street of Albany with restaurants and local businesses.

Horrible customer service! Cancelation policy says by 6pm. Showed the manager this and he didn't care at all.It's ok there are other hotels I'd gladly pay more to stay.Convenient location for working at some of the surrounding areas. Rooms are clean and decent size. Pillows suck. Your room will be mediocre clean. You'll get used paper for your receipts. Has their expenses on it and everything!!

I have never felt the need to write a review before but this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I booked my reservation for one night, checked in at 12:20am, and because of that they charged my original reservation as a no call no show, and then charged me as if I was staying the following night for over double the price of the one originally booked. I was over triple charged and after over a week of trying to contact them all they were able to do was refund a discounted price. I paid over to $300 for a broken heater in our room and a slimy hard boiled egg and watered down orange juice for breakfast. Terrible service, terrible amenities, terrible excuse for a hotel.Please, don’t make the same mistake I did and just stay somewhere else.

This is my 3rd time here. It WAS nice the first two times. Today we attempted to stay but everywhere we sat was wet. The couch, the floor, both beds. Absolutely awful for a hotel, let alone an expensive suite.THEN when we said something the manager’s wife got really rude to us. Told us to “leave immediately “. So we did. I’m not having my son sleep in a wet bed. It was 2.5 hour drive home or a wet bed. I chose the drive.Room was super nasty. Ruined my son’s weekend with his aunt

This hotel is the cleanest one we have ever stayed in. The owner was so nice and helpful. Check in was so fast. Beds were amazing. We would recommend this place to everyone. Very quiet and peaceful.

From check-in to check-out, stopping here was a wonderful experience. You were met with a friendly face at the front desk. We were in a dog friendly room, first floor right by the exit...it doesn't get any better than this. There was adequate green space for walking. I appreciated the fact that they key cards worked first time, every time, without issue. Although the hotel was located beside a noisy interstate, the room was quiet. And, I felt safe...there were no questionable characters staying here. Of high importance is the fact that this was one of the cleanest motel rooms I have ever stayed in. The water was hot, water pressure was great, and the towels were fluffy. The TV worked, and there was a great selection of channels. The beds were comfortable. A restaurant was next door and gas stations were across the street. In fact, I was so impressed with my stay here, that I booked it for my return trip.

Enjoyable stay. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom clean. Staff was helpful.The only drawback was the lack of elevator but it wasn't too bad as there are only two floors. They even offered to switch us to a first floor room.

Most of the staff was incredibly rude. We had one nice encounter our entire 4 day stay. We were refused extra towels (there were two towels, five people, and a 4 day stay) and even more toilet paper until walking to the front desk and demanding it. They also attempted to scam us out of roughly $1,300 for a $367 stay. They charged my debit card twice, both different amounts, and charged my credit card twice, also different amounts. They refused to acknowledge it even when shown bank statements with the charges coming from this specific hotel. They told me they didn’t have my debit card information, but I used it on the reservation so they clearly did. I asked to be emailed a receipt, they said yes and then never sent it. I had to drive back to the hotel to get a physical copy. After arguing back and forth and basically being told my bank was wrong, we had to file a dispute with our bank to get the money back. I was told a manager would call to “make things right” and that never happened. The employee we spoke with even mentioned this happening to another guest two days prior, so something is clearly wrong there.I’d avoid it if you can.

Honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. Booked a block for my wedding and every single time someone called they either said there wasn’t a block or they didn’t have rooms available. Manager is incompetent as he couldn’t help straighten anything out. Asked to speak to his boss and he said he was the only one. When we called to ask questions we got different and conflicting information about our block. Got charged for 2 rooms for 2 nights when I called multiple times to make sure I only had 1 room for 2 nights. Breakfast was terrible. 4 of my wedding party guests got charged multiple times on their card. Just a joke. Stay somewhere else if possible.

The front entry feels like walking into a large home! The room was clean and very comfortable, and breakfast (juice, muffins, bagels, cereal, waffles, pancakes, yogurt) was included. They also have a nice heated pool and the people here are very friendly.

Nice clean place an great customer service. They even offer pizza anytime which is nice. The breakfast room was stocked appropriately and kept clean and the staff was on top of everything. Great job all around. Only little complaint would be the pool was freezing cold. Kids didn't mind tho. I couldn't do it. Hot tub was nice tho.

Stay here every year for a specific event in Albany. It is in an excellent location for our purposes. Within 5 miles of everything we need.The hotel has a small breakfast with hard boiled eggs, toast, muffins, hot pockets, and has a pancake maker. Coffee, juice, milk, yogurt. The breakfast area is a decent sized room and the hotel has allowed use of the room in the past for evening meeting purposes.Pool was excellent temperature and great for kids. Hot tub was also hot. Clean pool area. They have some beach balls and other pool toys. There is a nice clean bathroom between pool and breakfast area. There is a possible pool pass for area dwellers so they are able to swim for fun without being guests.There is a small exercise room off the pool area with a couple machines.There is a desk, computer in entrance if absolutely needed for internet needs.Our room was spacious as we had a suite with additional room. Fairly standard for hotels. Fridge, microwave. Standard bathroom with tub/shower. 2 TV in suite with 2 rooms. Temperature control.Only downfall would be drawers in room needed to be wiped out, just dust particulate.Staff very helpful, quick to service. Polite as well.Walking distance of much activities. There is a supper club that can be walked to through the parking lot that has excellent food.A&W, subway, Holiday gas station and another gas station are about 1 block away. Fitness center. CVS drug store also near if forget some essentials.There is a wonderful barber shop just about 2 blocks north...highly recommended. Atmosphere and wonderful staff 👏.Rooms: Pretty standard hotel rooms. Bed comfy. Fridge, microwave.Nearby activities: St cloud 20 minutes or so. Located right off hwy 94. Auction hall-Livestock.Walkability: Blocks to eats, downtown bars, craft/boutiques.Food & drinks: Coffee/tea available all day.Noteworthy details: Pool hours- open until midnight 👍.

We use to go there to swim. It was 5$ per person for however long you want. Now 7$ per person per hr. Also, booking the meeting room for an hr was 20$ for a birthday didn't matter how many kids. Now 200$ for 4 hrs no shortening the time. That's ridiculous when there is only 1 bathroom to change and no waterside. The YMCA is cheaper.

Everything but one was good with our stay in Albany.Staff was friendly and helpful, Hotel was decorated very nice for Christmas, Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was not open when we got there, but did open that evening.Breakfast was awful. Tasteless waffles, sugar free syrup and that was it! Nothing else was offered and not even close to what was advertised. Would have given five stars if not for the breakfast.

I stayed there last Friday evening. I had numerous dead bugs 🐞 n my floor which is lack of housekeeping along with a ton of live box elder bugs everywhere. Then to topIt off I found 2 random pills on my floor and I had my toddler with me, the front desk was helpful but unable to give me refund I have been trying to call the manager daily and with multiple messages left he has not returned my call or pick up the phone when I know he was working the desk. Never have I ever had such poor customer service especially from a manager. Kat and Justin who work the front have been nothing but exceptional in trying to help me. Trying to get ahold of the owner is a joke as well. Very frustrated and will never go backUpdate: finally talked to someone other than the front desk people. Claimed she was the head housekeeper. Tried telling me the pills I found weren’t harmful to my kids and that they had the bug man come in and she didn’t know what room he went in to spray for bugs so they wouldn’t of known about the bugs. First of all I used to work at a hotel when the bug man come in you know what rooms they go in and second she had no idea what was in one of the pills capsules so not sure how she can say it’s safe for my babies. Plus the audacity she had to speak to me the way she did was very unprofessional especially when she is a housekeeper trying to take the matter into her hands and handle it instead of the manager. Still nothing back. I have called corporate and made a massive complaint. This hotel is garbage and I would not recommend to anyone.
