Kenny is awesome! What great service. You can tell the guy really cares, and same goes for the rest of the staff. A great store, with great prices, and great service to boot....what more can a guy ask for? Best price on Tony's pizza in town. The Aitkin Family Dollar is by far my favorite Family Dollar. It's always clean, well-stocked, has friendly service....just an all-around great shopping experience.

I have been shopping at Family Dollar since 2019 AT LEAST once or twice a week. I have come across some of the best employees EVER. The store manager (Tracy) is dedicated to the position she has and goes above and beyond to present a good store with worthwhile employees who have above average retail knowledge.There was a time not too long ago that I went into the store and was having trouble with my anxiety and it affected my asthma. Tracy noticed that I was having great difficulty trying to get a cart. She came over and asked me if I was ok. When I said I was just having trouble that day walking around, she grabbed the cart and asked me what I was there to get. I was able to say, "The basics." And she knew EXACTLY WHAT I MEANT. Pet supplies, milk, cereal and toilet paper and paper towels... She gathered the items and brought them to the counter. I've never had an experience like that at ANY other store.THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEN SOME!I appreciate the service I have come to know at this particular location. I hope yours is just as fulfilling as mine!

Tracy and Jodi (two women who work practically EVERYDAY) are beyond exceptional when it comes to being efficient, friendly, kind and just awesome in general. They make shopping at a store like Family Dollar feel like you're at a mom and pop store. I wouldn't trade them for anyone else! The store is well kept because of them also!

Prices are always good and staff is almost always very friendly, but aisles are very very small and I always end up shopping when they are putting away products so the already small Isles are virtually impassible because of all of the extra merchandise waiting to be put away. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to what day they stock everything either. I prefer to go to the Crosby store whenever possible ... Same selection and prices, also friendly staff, but much bigger aisles and never walking around merchandise waiting to be stocked.

Boxes were everywhere could not reach shelves and the one employee is rude. She doesn't wear a name tag so don't know her name. She is at the checkout counter and should not be has no people skills. After today I will not go in or will leave if she is there. I have had her eating and texting at counter. Very discouraging.

Staff helpful. Did not see any Covid protection for customers in Aitkin store. Six feet distance impossible. One customer coughing, not covering her mouth, and not wearing a mask. Staff not wearing masks. Suggest creating and implementing one direction and six feet distance.

Employees were impolite and honestly quite rude towards to end. It took roughly ten minutes before they decided to stop talking with a family and ring us up. Not sure what other employee was there, but I believe the one was named Terry. Don't recommend it, crowded place with packed isles and workers who pay you no mind when it comes to checkout.

I used to go there all the time but the store looks so messy I didn't find what I wanted they were out of everything I look for I wanted and they have overabundance of stuff that nobody's buying it's all over the floor that it's unmarked it's such a mess boxes all over them U-boats are in the middle of the Isles it's nasty I won't shop there for a long time

Staff is never available. Stand at register waiting. Expensive to me for lower quality. Food items not too bad on price. Homegoods, waste of money.

It takes a while for the employees to realize there are people ready to check out because there is no way to page them if they are out on the floor. There should be a bell or something on the desk.
