I brought my dog in last Friday for a shave as it's getting warmer and he has a thick coat, we have brought him to this place a couple times in the past. This time, the girl present ran a metal comb through his back back legs and said he had mats that were too severe for them to handle and that he had skin pulled into the mats. She told me he needed to be taken to a vet to be done under anesthesia. A vet visit and 400$ laters we are told by the vets his mats WERE NOT BAD AT ALL and that the groomers should have been more than capable than handling it. I understand if they just did not want to work with our dog, but tell us that instead of costing us a ton of money.

Staff is always so helpful here. Prices are spot on and normally beat out petco and petsmart. The groomers here also do an amazing job with my dogs. 10/10 recommend.

I took my dog there for the groomer appointment last October. It was my first time and they did a great job (Haircut, de shed, bath, nail trims etc). Few months later, I decided to come back with new appointment for his birthday. I asked the same grooming staffs since they know my dog and I wanted them to do that again like they did with my dog before. Im told it will take 2-3 hours but It took me wait for more than 4 hours. I texted them and they told they were very busy with many dogs and I had no doubt until they texted he was ready to pick up. I was so thrilled to see the result but when I arrived and I saw my dog - he wasn’t done. I was really confused. I had to wait for 20 minutes.He didn’t get his haircut done appropriately and they didn’t do de shed when I requested because I petted and saw some hairs on my hand. They insisted they were so super busy but I only saw my dog and one dog. They cost me $117 instead of $48. I was so disappointed. It was so ridiculous and they lost me as repeat customer. I decided to not give them a tip since I am not satisfied with my dog’s result. I didn’t need to ask for a refund or anything. They ruined my dog’s hair for his birthday. I’m not recommending them. They need to improve their honest with time management.

We have lived in the area since 2019 and have gone to many different locations which have all been a let down and I’m here to tell you all this is the happiest my dog and I have been with a grooming! Raychel did an amazing job and managed to make my Ringo more handsome than ever! Highly recommend and will be making this his regular grooming location! Thanks Raychel and team!

Very nice self serve dog wash, not always stocked with towels but they have 2 different sized baths to match your dog. Good variety of soap and powerful blow dryer

Always like shopping at the Ypsi PSP. Clean, organized, well stocked. They have great cat toys and a fabulous rotation of holiday/seasonal fun stuff. Oh-- and the most critical of all supplies: kitty litter. They always offer to take it to the car for me.

Terrible grooming service. I dropped my dog off at 9:30 am. My 2nd dog was dropped off at 10:30 am. 2 small dogs. They called me after 12 pm (2 hours later) and told me my 2nd dog threw up 3 times and I had to come get them both. My 9:30 dog wasn't even groomed yet. I asked why she wasn't groomed and she said she was the only one in the store. Then I was charged $91 for 2 baths for my dogs even though they couldn't groom them. When I went up to pay, a customer was waiting and said he has been standing at the register for 10 minutes with no one ringing him up. Finally the manger showed up carrying a lizard. She told me if I wanted to wait after she rang up all the other customers she could get more information. NO THANKS, do not go there. I can't believe the charge for my dog getting baths.

Great little pet supply store with lots of products at a variety of price points. Really an amazing selection given the size of the store. Fantastic cat toys. They also work with a cat rescue and there are sometimes kittens. 😻 The employees are sincerely nice. Informative but not pushy.

Flower had not been to the groomer since BC (before Covid) so she was nervous. But, we wanted a new look for the new year for our little fur baby girl Flower. Who we also call Blanche (she’s gold and humps people), Fluffernutter (super fluffy and crazy cute) and Toto/ Ewak, she is a Brussels Griffon and Shitzu mix. The perfect dog, so we took her to the perfect place, Pet Supplies Plus that just (fairly) recently opened up near us. Closer than PetSmart to us now, so I walk in with another appointment New Year’s Day. Rion (Ryan?) took wonderful care of her with Rachel who is known to be the best around with senior dogs. At least that’s what one of our neighbors said, who takes her two doggies to the same place for Rachel.

We shop here often because it's the closest to our house for us to feed our two pitbulls. Always very friendly staff, great selection of items, and great discounts on particular items. Never crowded, always very accommodating and courteous staff members.

If i could i would give them 10 stars! 100% would recommend this place for grooming.. I was a walk-in for my pet to get her nails trimmed. And Hailey did amazing with my Nova she was calm patient and tended to her needs. Made me so happy i will definitely be back for her to get groomed here!!And the lady up front was also nice and was helpful with questions I had!Thank you for a great experience

This review is a reflection of their grooming staff. The day before, I made a appointment for my dog to get groomed. When I arrived, Hailey told me that it would be a wait time of over four hours. It would have been fine, except I had to be somewhere in four and a half. So, I asked if we could take off one of the services. Hailey's response: "Taking off a service won't change anything. If we're backed up, we're backed up." Rude and unnecessary. Okay, fine, so I politely asked, "Can we give her a trim and maybe just her nails?" Hailey's response: "No, she (my dog) needs a bath. My razors are too expensive to risk them breaking." Literally, every response she gave me was rude and nasty. There is a certain way to speak to people and she was completely wrong. I could tell by looking at her that she was overwhelmed and just completely over her job, however, I did nothing to deserve the way she spoke to me at that moment. It was unnecessary, rude and a disgusting way to treat a potential client.

The employees at the Ypsilanti Pet Supply Plus are AMAZING! I was able to work with an associate from the door to get my pups food from my car as I had my daughter in the car and it was storming. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of. Will be returning 100%

While it took a little longer to have our grooming finished due to multiple bookings, it was well worth the wait. Our mini-Aussie came out looking better than he has in the past. The groomer was very friendly and gave us some heads up on some possible health issues. I'll be sure to bring our other dogs there for a groom.

Absolutely horrible. Took my dog here yesterday at 11. Wasn’t done till 3. Looks like no haircut was done at all! Then take her back the next day, drop off at 10 and it’s 1:43 and she’s still not done. I just wanted a few spots corrected. She still looks like nothing was done. Why are you having people make appts if you’re just wasting their time? Would like the manager to call me because this is not okay. 73$ with tip. And looks like nothing was even done.

This place is very convenient for a lot of people, due to its location. The service from the grooming is way below average. They over book every appointment, and there are typically only two groomers working. This leaves every appointment taking longer than necessary. The area is not clean, and is not organized. The haircuts that my dog has received both times have been poor. Leaving hair under his belly and between his legs. The bath could be better as well. Each time my dog has not smelled like he just had a bath. We tried this place twice, and will not be returning. Driving a little further out for a better experience for our dog.

Called for information, was able to get a same day appointment for 2 dogs. The staff seemed very knowledgeable, asking more questions than the prior groomers, as well as professional - we were kept informed throughout their visit. Rachel did a FANTASTIC job on these two pooches (she had help from Ryan for the more anxious of the dogs), & we’ll definitely be back!

This is a nice store with good staff. It has a dog wash if you were looking for that. It can be pricey, though, so price check what you want there.

We just had our great pyr in for grooming and we are so impressed! Rachel did an amazing job with Yeti. She kept us updated on everything and even sent pictures of her when she was done. Yeti looks and smells great!The store is so clean, too. I'm so glad that we have a new pet store in the area with amazing staff. Thank you so much!!

There was plenty of staff around if you needed help.I appreciated the coupon I got for visiting, I'm sure my dogs will be very excited to try the Origen food once we go through our other bags!
