It's very clean and usually never too busy. It's a bit pricey, but I tend to swing by when I only need a few things. The service isn't always the most friendly. On my last trip, I was sent to go find the price of a bag of avocados I wanted to purchase because they wouldn't ring up by the employee who was flagged over by the self scan. $2.99 on sale this week in case you were wondering..

Always check the dates. We just bought a cheese ball for the holidays, only to find that the fine-print date expiration was a month ago. They don't bother to check the dates on their food. Always use caution when buying from Family Fare.

The pharmacy staff is awesome. Rest of the store not so much. This store needs to beef up the check out services. One line with help to check out doesn't work

Local grocer with convenience store prices that take their time performing a TSA-esque ID check for Mucinex. Good grief. Next time, there won't be a next time. I'll go out of my way to patronize a national chain over this local outfit.

This is a huge supermarket conplex next to the Health Care facilities. Abd for sure there’s a pharmacy included. I especially liked the fresh fruit and vegetable section. You find everything you need for your daily life or as in my case everthing for a short two day stay in a hotel nearby. I would visit this market again in the future.

This is one of the nicer family fares it has all the usual stuff it's a little bigger than some so maybe a little more but it is on a busy street so not entirely easy to get in their but it's possible shelves seem to be stocked If you have a yes card they got good savings and or sales for that I believe there is a pharmacy I think and I think it's a drive through one if I recall correctly bit overall a good one to go to

It's deli area gets a 5 star delicious. Weather it be there subs, or their Chinese dishes, or take home and bake things. So good. The prices for them to are pretty darn good. But for other items like chips or drinks you can look to pay a little bit more. But still a good store. They have a little bit of everything. Animal stuff laundry things or dishes, cleaning supplies ect. It's good for in a pinch things.

I live in Byron Center and try to support the local stores, but I have been on the brink starting last year with Family Fares. I went there yesterday at 8:00 AM, one cashier, 7 people waiting in line to be checked out, one gal had been there for 30 minutes and was going to be late for work. No manager around trying to handle the situation. The shelves were empty in many areas. No jalapenos, no Jimmy Dean hot sausage, and 5 other items that I had to go somewhere else to get. The prices are outrageous, $6.59 for a small bottle of Miracle Whip. I was there in line for 40 minutes. The self checkout was waiting for an attendant to show up. I realize that staffing is an issue everywhere, but the management was no where to be found. It was exhausting and frustrating. I will shop elsewhere and no longer shop at my neighborhood stores.

I've been shopping at this Family Fare for the past 3 years. Only had one bad experience with a Cashier that seemed to be having a bad day and got mad because she pushed debit when I was using wic and told me I had messed up the machine. Outside of that negative experience, I love this store. They could do better on the Impossible meat demand but overall a good store.

Was a loyal cust until they rolled out the new app. Which basically overcharges you for your grocery pick up immediately to your account. Then once the groceries are picked up it charges you AGAIN the correct amount. It then is a real pain to get it adjusted as it takes a couple of business days. In the meantime you are actually double charged for your groceries. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m not running a charity here. So goodbye family fare you guys were doing great until the new system rolled out. Buyer be ware.

On the 28th of September they canceled their Event for that day on these hot peppers well that's bullship If you're gonna advertise something you don't cancel on the day. What a wasting people's time

Very Fresh and large variety of produce. Deli is great with many items that you can take home and have as a tasty meal. Try the BBQ ribs that are ready to eat. Get your YES Card and save on hundreds of items. Plus offer discount programs on gas.

I don’t get groceries here but I do fill some of my prescriptions here. Staff is friendly and helpful. They seem to have meds I need more than CVS. Grateful for that.

I found out if you do your yes card after all groceries scanned that it does not pick up all deals. A clerk said a supervisor told her. I feel that is stealing and I am thinking about switching stores for groceries.

Very clean store! Produce is always fresh. I think you pay higher if you don’t have a YES card then you would going to Meijer but then again you can’t seem to get fresh produce at Meijer lately. Friendly service.

It’s always clean, friendly, good selection. Family Fare seems to always be a touchmore expensive than the other guys but it’s WAY easier to get in and out which makes for good quick trips. One thing I would say is that no matter the time of day, it never seems like there’s enough people up front.

Went to Family Fare to pick up a script called in by a hospital staff after a hospital stay. Absolutely awesome!!! Couldn't ask for a better experience. TY Pharmacy!!

The Shipt employees are great, they are kind and considerate. They call if there are any issues with being out of something on your list and ask where you want them delivered.

I enjoy this location. While it cam be more expensive than other grocery chains in the area, I am always astonished with their produce section. The produce always looks great and I dont have to worry about not finding what I need. They also offer fresh options and healthy options throughout the store. This location has good parking and is convenient to the area.

I typically really enjoy shopping here at this store, but today, it was a big fat NO. I stood at the customer service counter for 5 minutes, waiting for someone to come and take the returnable cans that were purchased at their store, but wouldn't be accepted by the machines in the Bottle Return area. 3 male employees were near the curbside grocery pick-up area and they walked to and from behind the counter, laughing with one another as I stood there. One said "We'll be with you in a minute," but then proceeded to walk back and forth without further acknowledgement for several more minutes. I asked one of the 3 when he walked by a few minutes later if he could find someone to help me. He mumbled about a manager, knocked on the closed door behind the counter, but then just walked away. This may sound like a petty review, but when you have multiple employees ignoring a waiting customer at your "customer service" desk for that long, it's a far cry from customer service and should be noted. I left with all the unaccepted returns and will take them to a different store for my next grocery purchase. Do better, Family Fare.

I enjoy going to this store as it is clean, well organized, and the employees were very kind, pleasant, and attentive to your needs. I was able to get a freshly sanitized cart from one of them upon my entrance into the store.I was able to find what I went to get and was able to go through the self check out lane right away and proceeded to exit the store a few minutes later upon my entering the store.Thank you all for providing an excellent service and having a well groomed store.
