I’ve been shopping at big top for 42 years. And I also remember our parents shopping here when we lived on the north end of town. They came all the way here to do their grocery shopping when I was about five years old. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and also has the best meat counter you will find anywhere. The prices are always right in line.

We have lived this grocery store for 50 years. The front staff and cashiers are super friendly and quick to check you out! Big Top has a great meat department with fresh ground always ready with lots of choices. The counter staff is good with suggestions, and the line moves quickly. The grocery shelves are always very well organized and fully stocked when we visit weekly. Taking our returnable cans is easy, the Machines are rarely full and move quickly. Love getting a little weekly senior discount, too!!!

We moved away from the area 40 years ago, so it’s been that long since we have visited The Big Top. Basically has remained the same, but still a wonderful shopping experience. Their fresh meat area had a wide selection of meats and all fresh. The employees I had I interaction with were helpful and friendly. We will be moving back to the area soon and will shop this store again! Highly recommend.

Excellent locally owned and operated grocery store. No frills and may not look like much. BUT, this place has the finest butcher shop and fresh fish/poultry area on this side of the state! Everything any ethnic group could want. Steaks, cow tongue, chicken feet, sweet bread, head cheese, fresh slice bacon, homemade sausages. You name it. Also has a fresh produce and seasoning section with many non-standard items too!

Gr8 place to buy ethnic and American regular foods as well as a gr8 selection of fruits and vegetables at an affordable price!Don't forget the fresh meats with a friendly butcher there to help you with anything you may be looking for!(Even your mother-in-laws, turkey knuckles! 😣)She loved what he gave me, even if I didn't know a Thing, but to ask! 🤭Even sent a lil video out while there-I'll include...So, thank you all! 2021My husband and I are from Brighton, Michigan. When we visit my sister in Wyoming, Michigan we will stop by the Steve DeYoung Big Top store. You can find just about any kind of meat at the store!Steve DeYoung is an amazing man! When my husband and I were shopping at his store, we found out he was there and was able to get a picture of him with us! He is a hard worker and a good person! While we were there he was stocking shelves and mowing the lawn! And we see a lot of Christian literature in his store which is pretty amazing for us!!! Glad to have met Steve DeYoung!!! GOD Bless you all!!!

I just had my husband buy me a snack so I had something to eat. After eating it and realizing it was a little stale I seen that this Danish expired on the 23rd it was bought on the 29th. DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM HERE. THEY ARE SELLING EXPIRED ITEMS AT FULL PRICE! Hiw do you leave expired items on the shelf for almost a week????

It used to be a great store but they doubled PLUS the price on all of the stuff plus they closed the side show so you don't get a break on no prices 😞 sad.

Used to be a fantastic place to shop. Went in to buy coleslaw at 7:10pm with 3 men behind the counter and after a couple minutes one came up and says it's closed. The store is open until 9. There were no signs stating the counter was closed. You can't scoop a pound of coleslaw? Doesn't make sense. Won't shop there again. It's a disgrace to Steve DeYoung.

OK, I love the big top, and the great giant…but, when buying your porterhouse on sale @the big top location, two to a pack. There is no reason to cover the Fillet portion and make me guess how it looks! The package has plenty of room to set them side-by-side! Just makes you look sneaky!

It’s your casual hometown market, the floors have a nostalgic vibe of bleach and mr clean. The meat selection I have never been disappointed, but if they were sold out It would be great for the business anyway. 🤷🏼‍♀️Employees mind to themselves but are polite and helpful if you ask.My go-to bratwurst selection 10/10 recommended.It’s not Trader Joe’s, it’s old school business with community support.Bottle return has 2 plastic/1 glass but machines work and are clean

So many sales! Chicken to fish to beef! Take Ur pick. I found so many meat sales. Bought going to freeze. Have lots of bake goods. Which is nice, seeing its summer. Had great sale on outside hanging flowers plants! 9.99 great price! I bought 6. 😆 lol! Couldn't resist @ that price & very pretty. Soft many items to choose from. Really impressed.

I was looking for some El Milagro cor tortillas. They were sold out. Next delivery was around 4. I'm from Gun Lake couldn't wait 5 hours. Place was busy, clean and employees were friendly and helpful.

Good store for groceries, the produce department is great. But you can't find items that aren't a top seller. It's better to go to the big guys if you need something out of the ordinary, but a quick trip for essentials beats spending an hour longer in a crowded big store!They also have their other market on the other side of the parking lot which offers great deals and great finds for a fraction of the price! Definitely worth checking out.

I really can't stand this place I don't like the smell I don't like the meat there I bought meat from there the meat took the meat home had it in the freezer started in the refrigerator for a couple days I go and check it the second day and it is green I tried to take it back but people behind the counter of the meat department or so unfriendly and accuse me of meat from somewhere else and trying to bring it back to them it was really it's really terrible it's a terrible place only thing about that place is redeeming is the people at the the registers cashiers are really nice that's it that place is too expensive and the meat is terrible and I just hate shopping there I don't shop there at all anymore
