ACE is the place with the helpful hardware person, as the jingle says. When you’re trying to get something done it’s reassuring to know that you are not alone. The staff here have up to 46 years of experience.

Overall great place to get tools and hardware. Can be a bit pricey but the staff are helpful and they have a good selection. It’s a great place to find small bits and bobs for random things you’re fixing. The parking situation can be a bit tight at times, I wouldn’t suggest bringing a trailer through unless you park in the road. Overall I would suggest shopping here.

My husband doesn’t have a Google account, but he just came home and said that Jerry’s Ace Hardware is the best hardware store. He had to go up twice today and both times he said the employees were so helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I thought we should leave a review! So 5 stars to the best hardware store downriver!

Jerry's Ace always seems to have that one little odd item I need while doing repairs on the weekend. Service is usually very friendly. Price is a little higher but saves me a trip to the Big box store. Convenience wins in this case.

Another great local, small business. They are friendly, supportive, take the time to help you find what you need. Will even give great tips and advice if you are unsure. Plus they sell the best gummy bears I have ever had, and I cannot find them anywhere else!!

This place has a little bit of everything. The staff is always helpful and friendly and goes out of their way for the customers. The Ace hardware app is pretty good and offers regular coupons and discounts. Prices are competitive with the big box stores with lots of sales on a regular basis.

I went to Ace after multiple trips to other home improvement stores with associates who didn't know anything about the products or store. When I walked into Ace, an amazing gentleman named Rick who knew exactly what I needed and how to fix my problem in the best and easiest way. It worked out perfectly! 10/10 would recommend going here!

I've been to this Ace Hardware twice in 3 months. They seem friendly. The first time I was in a hurry and there were 4 or 5 people behind me. When the cashier said the veteran's discount was mistakenly not included in the sale, I told him not to worry about it.Yesterday, when the cashier asked if I wanted a receipt. I told him, "yes" because of the last time. In the parking lot I noticed my veteran's discount was mysteriously missing, again. I returned to have them subtract it. When I got home I noticed the cashiers attempt at correcting my discount was an additional charge of $2.47, not the veteran's discount. I called my credit card and disputed the charges. They're correcting the charges.The second cashier seemed put out because when asked, I said, "yes" I want a receipt. If your a Veteran and believe this place is honorable, trust but verify!!!Once could be looked at as an accident but I've only shopped there twice which points to a purpose. I play by softball rules. Two strikes and your out!

Love this store and the personal attention we receive. Keys are always done correctly! We own rentals and drive from Ecorse to have our keys made and buy quickly needed items. Returns or exchanges are never an issue:)

I would never down rate for something like this but I think I’ve got some constructive criticism here.I love shopping at my neighborhood stores, I love supporting local business. The ONLY issue with this place is that I always feel rushed with four people standing around me watching me every time I enter. I came here for lawn bags and was outside the front door, checking out mulch prices, taking my time, when a man came to the door to ask me what I was looking for, I hadn't even walked in yet... So then I walked in and told him lawn bags to which he immediately responded “5 or 15 pack” instead of pointing me in the direction and I wasn't really sure what I wanted until I saw the prices so I walked there anyways, got them and he immediately marched to the counter with me. Had that man not stood over my shoulder I probably would have walked around and found something else to spend more money on. They seem to be in a hurry getting you in and out of there. Im not sure if the employees are just eager for something to do or what but its not a place I feel comfortable “shopping around” and considering they sell candles and knick-knacks you would think they would want it to feel more welcoming for people willing to blow money on unecessary items. I also realize that customer service revolves around helping customers and he was clearly eager to do that, However I feel pretty capable of finding what I need in a store that small or asking if I have a question. Women like to look. Maybe the right solution to this would be, telling customers, “ if you need help finding anything please let me know” and encourage shoppers to see what your store has to offer rather than immediately asking them what they're looking for at the door and making the shopping experience feel very brief and to the point.Either way, I appreciate the convenience of this location and would never want to deter shoppers. However, if I wanted to go smell candles and shop for home items, this wouldn't be the place I feel most comfortable to do so.

My son was in with a hard to cut auto key - they were unable to help with this key- BUT Not only did Mike and Rob help him find somewhere that could cut it - they were awesome helping him. We as a family have been going to Jerry’s for a lot of years - and we will continue to frequent their store! BEST SERVICE ! Hands down !!

I normally have no problems at this store and the employees are friendly. But for some reason today I had a bad experience at this store. There was 2 cashiers ringing up the people in front of me. By the time it was my turn one of tge ladies just walk away leaving me standing there with me trying to fight with my tired toddler. I waited a few more minutes before walking out of the store amd not getting anything at all. When the one casgier returned she began talking to the other and than was talking on the phone. As I was still wating.

Gotta patronize our local mom & pop businesses! Got my advice, right glue, and, they have awesome seasoned pretzels called " Dots" , plus tasty giant jelly beans ( reg. AND all cinnamon varieties!).
