Our dogs have been the happiest dogs since our fence was put in. We no longer need a lead from the house to the garage and they can use our whole 2 1/2 acres. It is such a good feeling to open your door and just let your dogs out and to watch them play and frolic freely without worrying about them. Getting hit by a car. I got a puppy from an Amish breeder. He was nine weeks old when I got him. He is now eight months old and is turning into a very sweet, loving dog. He is a golden doodle by the name of Zeke and he loves to go with me everywhere I go. I live in an area where fences are not allowed, so I needed an invisible fence to contain my puppy. I contacted Northern fence of Michigan and they were very helpful in getting it installed. Zeke will not break the fence at this point and it makes it very easy for me to let him out on his own now. I have called Veronica a couple of times over advice that she could give me and a new collar to fit my growing puppy. She was very helpful in answering all my questions and getting me what I needed. Kevin our trainer left us with his personal number, telling us to call or text him if ever we needed him or had questions. Easter morning, our dog got out of the invisible fence. Upon investigating we realized the system wasn’t working. We texted Kevin, our trainer/installer. I did not expect what happened next, Kevin texted back in seconds. Walking us through how to fix it. In 5 minutes our system was back up and running. Our dog was happily contained again. The service that comes with invisible fence is unbeatable. Kevin went above and beyond, to help us. Was very nice and courteous and assured us we weren’t bothering him, even on his day off and on a holiday that he was spending with his family. I can’t recommend invisible fence enough. Thank you Kevin for the unbeatable service!

Travis trained us to use our electric fence and we have been so pleased with his advice. Our six month old puppy has great affection for him. We have used Invisible Fence for over 20 years in two locations. When we relocated to Traverse City, they were our first choice for our dog. I was impressed with the new technology that controls where the dog could go (out on the dock) and does not punish the dog if they return to the control area. While it took a month to have our fence installed, (possibly popularity affects supply and demand?) we were very pleased with the professional installer who completed installation in one day. Our friends used another company because they didn’t want to do the estimate and contract over the phone and online, but now they are not satisfied with their installation. I found the online representative to be knowledgeable and professional. Also, when our landscape company cut the line accidentally, Invisible Fence came out immediately and fixed it! We are very pleased with Invisible Fence of Northern Michigan!

I have used Invisible Fence for 4 years. We lived off a major highway and our property was very rural. My dog Sadie took to it within days and had 2 acres of fenced in area to play. One day this summer a bear strolled into our driveway. Sadie ran straight toward it and as the bear turned to go, Sadie stopped right at the fence line. That was shocking to see her stop while full of on the charge adrenaline.We just moved in town to a much smaller lot and Kevin was here today to install Invisible Fence. He is wonderful to work with and obviously loves dogs. I look forward to Sadie having her new space in town to hunt bunnies and squirrels safely. I’m grateful to Invisible Fence and the fine training from Kevin.

We had an awesome experience with all the team. The fence is great! We feel so comfortable with having our puppy outside in the yard with us. She quickly learned to respect the fence. Travis came out to train Rosie and was fantastic with her and very helpful! He gave us all the time we needed to get clarification on questions we had and took all the time necessary to work with Rosie.It may cost a bit more, but we think it’s worth it since it keeps Rosie in our yard and away from people and dogs on the sidewalk and safe from the street.Service: Dog fence installation

Katie at Invisible Fence of Northern Michigan was incredibly helpful and accommodating in scheduling training sessions for our new puppy! Any missed phone call was promptly returned. Kevin, the technician was very knowledgeable in making sure that our older system was compatible with an updated receiver and that all was in working order. He was also very patient in the initial training of our energetic Jack Russell Terrier pup! Revising my review. The new owners don’t deserve a 5 star review!I loved working with Dave (previous owner). Now it’s horrible customer service. I’ve had to call every time for pre-purchased batteries. I still haven’t received the last 2. Thankfully I can get them on Amazon.We upgraded our system during the transition of ownership. We where having issues with the brand new system, they wanted to charge me to fix it. Luckily my sister had her fence installed by Hidden Dog Fence. The owner (Hidden Dog Fence) stop by my house reset the system and didn’t charge me. I’ll be using them when this system goes out.

As a former customer down state we set up a zoom session to discuss fence options for our northern home . Our dog, who had a prior history of running prior to being rehomed with us as a retired service dog, showed no signs of running off our property. So we paused on the install and training. We then emailed the dealer that we were cancelling our contract. Because we signed the contract electronically back in May we no longer can see the contract at all. We were denied a refund but other than credit card fees no expenses were incurred because no one came on site and nothing was installed. We cannot reach the owner by phone to discuss a remedy. I run a small business and I have refunded clients deposits in the past even after signing a contract. We tried to reach the corporate office to get input but they don't answer. Without a contract to refer I don't know my rights or obligations. The dealer has offered a token refund hence the 2 stars. Communication is sparse and terse, please treat me with respect by having a phone conversation. Maybe this public comment will entice you to call me. TIAUpdate- had a good conversation with the Kyle. Appreciated his honesty. A full refund has been imitated. Thank you
