Acme Creek Kennels has been so friendly, professional and accommodating to our dog, Ripley! They love dogs and the staff love on Ripley and give me updates on his day. When I got a job that started earlier than their hours of operation, they set up a crate in their lobby where I could drop off my dog where he would be safe and warm until they came in. I don't know what I'd do without them; worth every penny. I can tell Ripley loves going to Acme Creek, he runs in the door to see them! Shout out to Holly and Erica - they're wonderful!

We love Acme Creek! Our little girl Luna Belle was born there and she absolutely loves to go “see her friends” when we board her at Acme. The staff is kind and caring and treats our girl so well. We know she’s in good hands when she stays there!

Hands down the best pet care facility in the area! Over the course of 17 or 18 consecutive years we have chosen to take our dogs to Acme Creek Kennels for the excellent care, prompt & courteous service, and the fun time provided for the dogs. We tried several other boarding establishments prior to taking our Dixie to Acme Creek Kennels. She was always excited to get there and came home just as happy as she was before we dropped her off. Sprite was the same. They have both since crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We now have 2 labradoodle puppies from Acme Creek Doodles and they enjoy their time at Acme Creek Kennels just as much as Dixie and Sprite once did. Look no further, this is the best kennel anywhere!

This is our dog's favorite place! She can't wait to get out of the car and leave us in her dust. I can relax on vacation or wherever we go knowing she is taken care of and having a good time there. I highly recommend Acme Creek Kennels.

Our Golden absolutely loves staying here on her dogcations. They take really good care of the dogs. They have plenty of room to run and play and the kennels are kept very clean.

Love,Love,Love this kennel! Isabella, Pippi and Sushi are so excited every time they get to go here! They literally drag me in the building and run out back without saying goodbye to me! Our girl Kinzi loves doggy daycare and sleepovers with her friends. The minute we made the turn down the driveway her excitement is obvious. She can’t wait to go in and see all you dog and human friends. The facilities are clean and the staff is wonderful. Kinzi gives it 5 stars and so do her humans.

Acme did an excellent job caring for our Standard Poodle for 10 days. She ordinarily doesn’t do well in kennels but she was happy; not stressed; clean; weighed the same when we picked her up so she must of eaten well and her teeth were nice and clean because they brushed her teeth every night before bed. Which we really appreciated as a healthy mouth is important to a dogs wellbeing and health. Nice people running the Kennel. 5+stars!!

We have had the best experience using Acme Creek to board our dog, Lucy. They competently cover all the necessary items at drop off time and Lucy appears to be very comfortable with their routine.Staff members have also contacted me to check on our expected pick up time to ensure they complete a requested exit bath for her before we arrive.Acme Creek is our top choice when traveling through the area!

We LOVE our Acme Creek family and they love our sweet Doodle Swix. They offer deluxe options with lots of outside and play time. They know my dog well enough that they pair him during play with pets that mix well. He has “friends” that also routinely board there and our baby comes home exhausted and happy! Carol and Amber are absolutely the best!

We have been boarding our dog at Acme Creek Kennels for the last two years. Our dog Chandler is a rescue and is nervous being away from us. The staff are good with him and quickly knew to put him with the more relaxed dog group outside. We will continue to board our beloved pup at Acme Creek Kennels.

Very rude to vacationers. Unless you are a local, they don't want to deal with you. It does not matter if your dog has all its shots, has flee & tick prevention, is obedient, and they have room; they refuse to help you. Sad but true.

We moved to northern Michigan 5 years ago with 2 dogs - one who was very reactive. I was sooo nervous about using a new kennel. Well the people at Acme Creek actually helped to change my dog, Belle, for the better! They are patient and knowledgeable. Belle is now gone, but we regularly board our dog Sweeney and our new girl, Zoey. This past month my husband and I went for a long visit to India. Unfortunately Sweeney needed emergency vet services while we were gone. Amber, Carol and their team took excellent care of him and I did not have to worry. Zoey and Sweeney LOVE their visits. I would highly recommend Acme Creek for boarding and for day care!!

We have no concerns taking our Luther to Acme Creek kennels. He's always excited to go and is usually tired after a day of playing. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend.

My pups loved it here when we brought them here for “camp” while we went on vacation! They were so happy when we saw them (before they saw us) through the window of the door leading to the play area. Smiles ear to ear. Great socialization during play time and they came back clean and smelling great! Highly recommended.

I’m so impressed with the care my Labradors, Walter and June have received at Acme! Their spa care is wonderful and the staff always goes out of their way to meet and exceed every need we have. We’ve been boarding our dog here since he was a little pup. They are super friendly and our dog loves to go. Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend their bath and nail trim services as well. I love that I can call or text to check in and ask how puppers is doing and they always give me an update. We definitely give them 2 paws up! 🐾

Acme Creek took really great care of our dog, Buddy, and after a long drive from downstate, they were very welcoming and kind. I felt very comfortable leaving Buddy with them. We have been long time customers with Acme Creek Kennels for over 20 years. Throughout that time we have had 3 different AKC German Shepherds with 3 different personalities and different dispositions. The staff overseen by Carol, have cared for our GSD with love and the utmost of care!! Our current GSD WYATT is over the board excited to go to Doggie Daycare to play with all his friends (especially Larkin!), and when we do use their Boarding services we know without a doubt Acme Creek Kennels will take care of Wyatt like its his second home (which it is!!). We needed to head downstate for the day and decided to use Acme Creek to board our 100lb dog overnight. I filled out the forms from their website ahead of time to make the process faster for me, thanks for putting those online!Cost was reasonable and drop off and pick up was easy. In fact, my pup didn't seem to want to leave! He was worn out, which meant he must have been in the yard quite a bit. He wasn't super dirty and he seemed very happy. Thanks Acme Creek! We'll be back again soon!

Hands down the best place to leave your dog. I highly recommend the bathing service too. This way you take home a clean happy pup. After trying 5 other boarding establishments in Traverse City area and picking up lethargic dogs we found Acme Creek Kennels. Our dogs are waging tails and whining to get inside and just as happy and energetic to come home, after baths! We have used them for 15 plus years!

We had a rough time finding the right daycare and boarding fit for our somewhat anxious and super high energy adolescent puppy. We tried other kennels and some Rover sitters. Acme Creek Kennels is the first place that worked with all his quirks. He stayed for two whole weeks during our honeymoon. When we brought him back for an overnight a few weeks later, he ran right in. I think that says it all!

This the sweetest hidden gem for dogs in TC! Traveled here for a work trip and needed to board my dog last minute. She is a rescue and does not get along with other dogs, but the staff here treated her graciously and understood the situation. They allowed for a private play situation and provided more one-on-one time to our Bella girl. Will be back whenever we are in the area again!
