Absolutely the nicest help at a store! My kid commented multiple times how much he liked the gentleman who helped sell us a blower today and we couldn’t have been happier with the purchase. Service like this will make this my go to store for hardware/yardware related purchase for years to come.

Bought some fuses $26 for 2 most money I every paid for some simple fuses. Looked up online and all day same exact fuses for less then half. I understand it's a local hardware vs. Online but more then double the cost I absolutely ridiculous and price gouging. I will drive the extra distance not to come here again!!

I love this place- it's packed with cool stuff and friendly people. And, anytime I buy a piece of power equipment, gas grill, or patio accessory, it's already assembled and tested. They're also a Stihl dealer, so there's that, too.And if you can manufacture the excuse, you have to rent a backhoe. Damn, that's fun.

They do so much here! From buying a brand new chainsaw or commercial leaf blower to sharpening chains or just looking for some paint for you tractor, they have it all! The staff are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable!

Unexpectedly, today's task was to clear the stopped up drain in my teenage daughter's bathroom. To do this, I had to take apart the plumbing back to the wall. Having done that, I found the steel pipes they had used were corroded through in some areas, the nut broken, and some threads stripped. I ran to Peter's to get what I needed to fix it. Upon arrival, I did not find the parts that the previous person had used to "plumb" this drain. One of the associates in the plumbing area helped me to configure what I needed to do the job correctlyWe probably spent 10 minutes looking at what I had coming from the wall, and the pieces that were removed, to come up with a solution. When I arrived home, I had it back together pretty quickly, everything worked great, and my daughter's sink is back in business.Thanks to the knowledgeable help at Peter's!

Brian went above and beyond repairing a table lamp for my elderly mom. He rewired it twice because it turned out she needed a switch on the cord that would be easy for her to operate (arthritis). He searched for just the right part, ordered it, and redid the job. He was so kind to do this. And he had it finished in no time. Thank you, Brian!

Peter's Hardware is my go-to store for anything garden or home-improvement related. Their staff, including the owner who is very hands-on, is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. The latter quality is essential for a store the sometimes has a line at the door on a Saturday before they even open. Despite the occasional crowds, they manage to make everyone feel like the top priority and the checkout line moves briskly.This store is deceptively large. I have yet to go there for something and not find it. It is well laid out, with large aisles, which is necessary since my cart is always overflowing. Their prices are also very reasonable and I never feel like I am being taken advantage of.

I came in looking for a replacement faucet valve that probably hasn’t been made since the 70’s. The person helping me showed me how to take it apart and clean it out and hope for the best... This is by far the best hardware store I've ever been in. Brian and the rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful. They always have the answers to my questions and will do whatever it takes to make sure my I have everything I need. I work in retail and I know what a difficult time this has been with Covid...this store is doing what it needs to do to help and protect their customers. I highly recommend Peter's Hardware.

Very rude guy who works there. Asked if they had flower bulbs and he said no we no longer order them. People always wait till they go on clearance then buy them. That is probably what you are doing. How rude. I will drive to Lakeland or homedepot before I do business here again. New owners! They also have higher prices.

Got tired of waiting to check out so I left. Lots of staff walking around but just one educationally challenged young lady at the register. She way overcharged the person ahead of me and refunded what she calculated was the difference and still got it wrong. Something else is going on there, too. Stock is very low but not at the Ace up the road and Lowe's. No lawn sprinklers in stock? Out of mulch for two months? Very odd.

I moved to the area recently and went here a lot. When they happened to be out of something I was looking for, I drove down the street to Lakeland Ace. The staff is so much friendlier and so much more helpful. I always felt like I was bothering the staff by coming into this store. So glad I found the place down the street.

Sent one of my chain saw chains up there to get sharpened due to not having time to do it myself, which was a mistake. Was a 20" Oregon chain, nothing fancy. Somehow whoever was running the machine was to lazy to actually setup the machine properly and managed to cut all the teeth way wrong and nowhere near the right angles. Completely destroyed it. Definitely wont be trusting them with my money makers again. Honestly I think it cut worse after they "sharpened" it than it did when it got sent to them after I pulled it off the saw. This is ontop of the rude service I received from multiple employees.

There are some hardworking folks at this hardware, be it known. The girl-child who took my money yestreday was not one of them. Rude, didn't feel like speaking loud through her pos mask so that I could hear her; how do people like this keep a job in CUSTOMER SERVICE?!?!?Item marked $19 she charged me $25 for and i didn't realise until i got home. You pay for convenience but you expect to be treated like a guest.My bad, we're in the entitled liberal effed up world now.We live nearby and only go here when we have to but I'll drive 20 miles to the home depot next time.
