I loved the planned events here that’s always open to the public! The staff is always friendly. Only reason I gave three stars is because of advertisement. I would check your Facebook page to see if there were any deals or specials going on or even future specials or even sneak peaks of future specials or promos. Christmas is coming and I don’t see how lawn mowers will help with cleaning up my leaves since it’s the only product that has been promoted. Looks like whoever is in charge of marketing needs to work on their skills. The ads are generic and looks like they got them from Google. Not updated to the seasons.

I have been waiting to write this review for awhile in hopes customer service would improve over time but it seems to be getting worse. The employees spend more time talking to themselves than they do checking in on the little amount of customers they have in the store at a time. When calling to see if they have something specific in stock, I generally receive a response of “I don’t think we have it” but will not go verify. At this point I would rather drive 25 minutes to the closest big box store over calling to see if something specific is in stock because clearly the call is not worth their time or mine. Sad to see what could be a great business lose customers over simple customer service expectations.This review covers many months of poor experiences at this specific Rivers Ace Hardware.

Nice hardware store. Didn't have exactly what I needed (a very specific item), but I will be back. This place is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend. Very nice and informative staff. I highly recommend this company and appreciate their support of our community.

The associate I asked for help didn't seem knowledgeable OR treat me with the respect any customer deserves. She actually looked at me as if I didn't belong there. Yes, I have large gauges (earrings) and dress more like a "punk" than a farmer... that doesn't mean I should be treated like a derelict. This particular store seems to stock more touristy-gift ideas than hardware.In reply to the comment from Ace on this review:I was asked to complete a survey about my experience and said the same things. The survey asked if I'D LIKE TO BE CONTACTED about the experience, to which I answered "yes" and left my contact information. If Rivers Ace truly wanted to know more about my experience, or try to make it right, I wouldn't be getting comments and emails telling me to call them. They have my contact info and can reach me if it's actually considered important to improve customer relations.

Huge addition to our area. It feels like they did a good job of looking at was was available already, then adding to that in goods and services. Each time I'm in there, if I need advice, they are helpful without a sort of scorn that can happen sometimes. I recommend this business regularly

The ladies were very courteous as well as the guys in the help desk. Unfortunately the heaters did not work but they helped me a lot and were very understanding and compassionate. Will go to that store again when in their area.Thank you all.

We go here to get things for our big green egg. Close to home and have a big variety of items for it. Very nice selection of tools here also. Friendly staff and priced right.

Had cash in hand to buy a zero turn at “White Lake Nursery” they had some stuff to work out being they just changed hands… left my name and number to get back with me and never heard a word from anyone. Talk about leaving a horrible first impression.A guy I work with is having the same experience too. All the “mom and pop” shops are just a thing of the past unfortunately

The staff here is always friendly and helpful. They carry a wide range of items that are usually only available in Muskegon and their prices are competitive. Go for a visit, you won't be disappointed.

I took in a simple screen for my window to have the screen replaced and it has been sitting in their shop since May 29,2021 spoke to them today and they advised me that it would be over another month because the owner does it. How pathetic they never called once to advise me of the wait. Well Ace Hardware 605 Whitehall will have my business for sure. One week wait time. I sure hope the owner of Craig's hardware reads this I have friends that will no longer shop your store.
