We really liked staying here for our romantic ten year anniversary. The staff was here to help us when we were looking for the fuse box and they were very friendly. It would have been nice to have them plug in the fridge and turn on the water heater breaker for us before we arrived so that we didn't have to do it ourselves. The rooms were mostly clean, but there was some dirt and hair around when we arrived.We really appreciated what we got for our money though! It was pretty quiet. You could only hear people moving around upstairs a little bit and water moving through the plumbing. We had four full-size beds, a full kitchen, a good size living room, and a nice little bathroom with a washer and dryer. The parking was very convenient. We'd like to stay here again if we're in the area.

Perfect for a trip with the family, friends, spouse, etc. - I would definitely recommend staying at the Porcupine Lodge! The owners are extremely friendly and the rooms are fully equipped like an apartment, which is great if you'd like to make your own dinner, do laundry, etc. Also, there are a variety of nearby activities (i.e. parks, snowmobiling, hiking, etc) and local restaurants (if you'd like to dine out). Check it out next time you're in the UP!

We've stayed there in 08 and 12. Nice place to stay and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Konteka bar/bowling alley/restaurant/gas station/mini store/ bear feeding trough is pretty cool and the Porkies are phenomenal. We'd recommend it.

The place is great and the owners are very nice. Rooms do smell a little musty though. Make sure to keep the dehumidifier going the whole time.

Had a Great Stay with the Family for SnowMobiling, place was Compfy and we used the Sanua when we came back to Relax!!Great Location to travel many ways and sites to see.

Decent little place surrounded by tons of outdoor activities. Building is a bit outdated, but overall it has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
