Hey just wanted to let you know. I tried to get some fried food cooked at 1:30 today. And they refused to do it until they filled the hot case and did an order of chicken to put in there. Your manager in deli was extremely rude to me and told me I had to wait 20 to 30 minutes before I could even get my order put in the fryer(mine 5 min. and could of thrown on top of food cooking already). They are wearing winter stocking caps and hair accessories with hair sticking out of top. Instead of correct hair attire.Thursday my son tried to get fried food at 5:30 -5:40 and they had fryer already shut down.JUST DELI!!

We Come up here once a year and I always buy the sausage, which deserves 5 stars, and the meat is fairly priced, but everything else is way over priced. I get the mom And pop charm Comes with mom and pop prices but people are trying to feed their family and are breaking their wallets with this prices.

Went from A 5 star to a 2 star.I Could not really see in the hot case. Because it was fogged over due to the condensation from hot food. Being in the case in the AC running. But I wasn't really too worried about it. Considering. I've always received good food from them before.That was not the case this time. I was grabbing 2 chicken dinners for my mom and I on Sunday so she could relax, and we celebrated my CharlieDad's heavenly birthday. the chicken was very old and should have been thrown out. And the potato wedges were awful. The cheddar munchers were decent, so there's that.And apparently it's just a $13 lesson . Because when I called to let them know. They just said oh, we'll have a talk with them, sweetie And then that was the end of the conversation. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Buyer beware

It's nice in Houseman's. Staff was very friendly, and I had good service. But it's pretty expensive, I think, because of being the only grocery store in town. They do have a new Family Dollar, though, and a Dollar General.

I had my wedding cake made by Elfiea. She made my dream wedding cake! I wanted a special cake that had fruit inside and I didn’t want it to be a very sweet cake. She made just that :). She was very easy to work with had to work with her most over the phone. I live in Florida but was married in Michigan. She also made an appointment with me to sample two cakes, I went with the second cake she made it ombré! So happy and thankful how it turned out and very reasonable priced too! Will definitely go to her for any cake need!

It's a nice store when you are in a pinch. The prices were a little higher for my liking (example - box of dry pasta was almost double ($1.99+ for the basic our family brand)) other than that the store was clean and staff was very friendly. I wouldn't plan on grocery shopping here, but when camping and in need they came through!

Houseman's does a great job of making sure shelves are full and stocked as much as possible. Produce is fresh and good-looking with a healthy variety. Half-price and discount bins are provided for stock going out of date or not selling as well as hoped, and many good deals can be found in them. Stock updates with new items frequently. There's a deli with actual courteous, helpful staff ready to help. In fact, I don't know that I have ever known any of their staff to be rude or unhelpful. Most will gladly go out of their way to help.They offer the grocery experience, as well as a beer cave, fine wine selection, bottle return, service desk, customer-use bulletin boards - pretty much everything but a pharmacy. Prices are fair, especially for a smaller town grocery store. Never had a bad experience here!

Little more expensive than stopping at walmart but that's what you get when your at least 20min from any other grocery store. Great employees and love the deli... but I've learned to check expiration dates before putting anything in the cart

Some great deals. Got a bunch of spices just because the price on them was incredibly low. I was camping and just stopped in for a salt and pepper picnic pack type thing, and some bottled water. Didnt go in there for spices but left with a bag full, So thats fine. Cashiers are friendly and, the stock guy ( think he was a stock guy ) could tell i was looking for something and wasnt more than 2 or 3 minutes and he was asking what i needed. Thats rare, and im not lyin to ya. So thats just fine.

Based on one experience from out-of-town, I feel like overall this is a well maintained establishment. The restrooms were very clean and the produce section had fresh items that appeared to be seasonal and not unnecessarily overstocked (which can lead to quality issues). Considering this is also a convenience store for people camping or visiting the area for recreational purposes, the prices were fair.Side note- While we were shopping about an hour before close, there was a customer walking around barefoot which was a little bit wierd.

Not a bad little grocer staff is friendly. But with that small-town charm come small-town prices. If you're looking to get a large bang for your buck you might want to Drive the extra 20 minutes and go to Walmart.

LOVE this place e...vegetables are put up so nicely that we're no loosing any! Flowers inside and outside are so welcoming. We are also crazy with your good meats, sale or not. Chicken you offer on sale is delicious and I don't have to worry about it! Also. We all appreciate the chance e to buy affordable tobacco/ tubes and cigarettes. Thanks.

It's convenient and staff is friendly but since it's only grocery store in area they are ridiculously expensive, produce is not fresh. But the fresh meat is good. Overall its clean, easy in and out.
