Highly, highly recommend! Gino runs a great operation. One of the hardest workers I know, who takes pride in his work. He’s honest and knowledgeable with both mechanics and sales. Got a well needed tuneup; new blade, oil change, new filter at the one and only: Westland Lawn & Snow (Joy rd and Inkster). Ps during the summer sometimes you’ll see hot dog/soda stand out front 🌭🥤🍿

Service was off the chain. I have bought all my mowers here for 30 years. Today I went to buy my first replacement blade for my Arien lawnmower. Instead of selling me a new one he told me mine could be easily sharpened for 8 bucks. He took my old blade made it better then new in 10 minutes. People should think about service like that when you buy a new mower. Thanks you are an asset to our neighborhood.

Extremely honest people. First time I have ever been here, my snow blower was not starting, was leaking gas. I was ready to shell out a lot of money for repairs. They exhausted all options to repair versus replacing. It ended up being repaired and now it runs great! They do not take advantage of you like other places. I was treated like a family member. I drove out of my way to try these guys out based on previous reviews. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!! Thank you for all that you did and for showing that great people still do exisit!

I use pretty much anyone but these folks. Not very helpful usually. The counter guy is pretty rude and impolite and the woman knows next to nothing about the products they sell. I use Livonia small engine repair. Much friendlier, knowledgeable and easier to deal with. The Westland people act like you're a bother or they're doing you a huge favor. Not getting my business.

We took our rototiller to the shop for repair work. When they finally repaired it, all the controls were configured backwards. In the end, there was no compensation or accommodations for this blunder. Perfect.

The staff was courteous and professional. My snowthrower was repaired quickly at a very reasonable price. The repair person was quick to offer good suggestions and advice for future operation. Highly recommend this company.

westland lawn and snow has been in business for many years and their service department is top notch . They saved my butt a few times . And they sell good quality products . Everything I bought from there holds up for a long time . And when you buy some equipment from there Geno / the owner makes sure you know everything about it , he will spend the time to make sure you know how to operate it .

I bought a snow blower from here several years ago. Ive never regretted buying their recommendation. Small mom n pop and they know their stuff. I stopped in today to pick up a few regular maintenance items. Pet the dog while youre there.

Went in for parts on a Monday afternoon. Waited 5 minutes and didn’t even get acknowledged that I was there. I’ll be taking business elsewhere. Went there two other times for parts and walked out empty handed both times. They advertise they sell Cub Cadet parts but never have any when I ask. Don’t waste your time here.

Gino and his guys are straight shooters that sell you what you need nothing that you don't. Finding Westland is like finding that unicorn of a mechanic that doesn't try to screw you at every turn. The lady behind the counter could buy a personality though. Other than that I have no problem driving 45 minutes to deal with honest people that take care of you.

This company lies not to have to do warranty repairs. I will never purchase or refer anyone to them again ! It would have cost them nothing the equipment was under warranty, but they lied to manufacturer about use! It was ridiculous and unprofessional! My equipment was repaired at another facility that I will refer in the future and use as well....

Terribly rude woman that answers the phones here. Owner Gino won't return my calls. Paid $89 for a lawn mower tune up that appears was never done. Discovered dirt in holes on carb cap & no oil in it. Complete rip off! Avoid this business!

Bought a $350 Ariens snow blower and it's 3 years old now. Every year I have to take it to them to pay for the carburetor to get cleaned. I have used stabil and let the gas run out in the spring time. Nothing has worked. Took it to Livonia small engine and it's way cheaper to get it fixed and it seems to be running way better then the day I bought it. This place is a rip off.
