Love this Kroger. The wife and I love coming here. Everyone is nice and helpful. Multiple employees always say hello and ask us how we are doing. They have plenty of self check outs available, and when you do need to see a cashier, they keep the lines moving quickly. I have never had a bad trip here, and the quality of the food is always good.

Whose brilliant idea was it for the carts to lock up the wheels at the door? If you’re not expecting it or have a severe balance issue like me where the cart also serves as a balance aide, you’re going to end up on the floor. I’m waiting for someone to exploit this and suit Kroger, it will only be a matter of time. Maybe it will take a pileup of seniors in a tangled mess of carts at the door. I love the smell of cigarette smoke and rotten fish when you approach the entrance.

This place is absolutely disgusting, the floors near the bottle machines are sticky and management should really get someone to clean it. And the one time I tried to talk to customer service and asked for the manager I was told that he wasn’t even in! The taller bald one specifically. What the hell kind of place is this! Very disappointed. They also need more registers to open ridiculous

More expensive than Meijer or Aldi, but sometimes with road construction, you have to go to Kroger.Only 2 check out lanes were open during the late afternoon rush, so lines extended well into the isles.They had tons of posters up, claiming they were hiring at **up to** $14.75 a hour, so somebody please go and give them a hand.Check-out guy was pleasant, even though he was swamped.He did not have any Kroger customer loyalty cards, so if you wanted one to become a regular customer, you had to go back inside to the Customer Service desk. I'm not kidding.Otherwise it was a pretty average grocery store experience.3/2023 update: a madhouse of people in line in the afternoon.

This Place is Trash! I Was There Today And Almost Every Bottle Return Machine Keeps Failing And Failing And it Was Even Full To Because Hardly Anyone Checks it And I Tried Asking Workers For Help For it And No Response And It Took 1/2 Hour Just For Them To Came To Help I Don't Think They Ever Maintain These Machines Properly Somebody Really Needs To Solve This Issue Please Do Some Thing About This! Also There's Even Sticky Stuff Almost Everywhere On The Floor And All The Machines Look Messed Up This Place SUCKS! Good Luck Trying To Do Your Bottle Returns At This Place!

This is in reference to the Kroger in Westland Michigan at the corner of Warren and middlebelt. I have been going here for years but have noticed a decline recently. They are frequently out of stock of several items I routinely buy. And recently their shopping carts have started locking up as soon you leave the building. Why in the world would you lock up the wheels on the shopping cart as soon as we try to leave the building? How are we supposed to get the groceries to the car? If you all can't get your stocking levels fixed and your shopping cart issue fixed I'm going to have to find a new place to go shopping

There is a disgusting odor as soon as you enter THIS store. The bottle/can return area is beyond filthy. There is liquid running down the floors so you stick to the floor. The recycling machines themselves are filthy. Seems like the store manager should clean this up. Unacceptable! The Livonia store doesn't look or smell like this one.

I took in two bags of recyclable bottles but couldn't use the machines. They were all gummed up or dysfunctional. This is the third time in three months. Why aren't they fixing or replacing them?

Security Guard followed me through the whole store then stood in my way for self check out. I will be going somewhere more welcoming. I'm going to try heartland in westland. Same distance for me

Just went there today to get a few deli salads and the lady putting raw chicken in the ovens stopped what she was doing to come give me some salads while wearing her raw chicken apron (yellow) with raw chicken juices on it I told her I will wait for the other lady to help me because she had raw chicken on her and the other lady that was there was just standing there doing nothing just looking at me (who is a deli manager Gloria I believe is her name)and the lady with the raw chicken gloves and apron said well I’m already here and she proceeded to try to give me salads I told her you know what nah I’m good that place is disgusting I did call management and let them know. The only good worker in the deli is a lady named Sue and she’s always kind and cares about the food safety of her customers.

My place to grocery shop. I did pay my wow bill at the service center for the first time. Kroger does charge a $1.50 service charge to do that.

I haven't been to this Kroger in months. NO CASHIER'S. Mostly self check-outs. Though they do have cashier's, but not when I went. Will not return. I guess cashier's will be non existing soon. Maybe we will see Robots doing stock work lol.

Do not go to this Kroger the security guard was turning people away at the door at 9:40 p.m. when they close at 10 pm. He said it was because they have a line inside I looked through the window there was no line inside. If you have a closing time of 10 p.m. how is it right that you're turning people away at 9:40 p.m.. oh and the best part about it is he said his managers the one that told him to do it. When I asked to speak with the manager he said the manager wasn't there. Good luck shopping there they don't seem open even when their hours say they are.

For the most part its pretty good, today however the produce and lack of chicken breasts was frustrating. The garlic looked gross, the 3 heads of lettuce they had looked rotten (one was in a tied produce bag-no other wrapping) and the heritage farm chicken breast was gone- which, most of the time there is only a tiny selection of it anyway, cause its the cheapest.. wish they would stock more of it! Cashier was nice though.

Absolutely disgusting. 1 can machine working. Rude customer service from team members assigned to bottle return. Tyler the manager was showung symptoms of being high, a bunch of excuses and bad attitudes. Paid 15.75 to do what? Wear headphones and sweatpants and be miserable to every human on your shift? Shopping here 10 years, I'm done will find another store.

Store shelves arent stocked no one in site stocking shelves if you go go first thing in morning because once things are sold they dont restock...deli workers are terrible lazy dont want to work...when you have 10 people waiting and one lady working and the other 2 are standing there talking doing nothing and you tell manager they dont care...got one to work but he wasnt happy with complaint girl comes up to help rubs nose touches inside containers then digs in box to get gloves and puts gloves on...well you just touched your nose then my containers and then gloves and well you just contaminated everything you touched....if this is safe practice of handling food in front of customers id hate to see what you do when no one is around. I think ill call health department and file a complaint in morning and never come back to this Kroger again...ill take a lil longer drive and try Meijer for now on...absolutely disgusted with what i witnessed tonight at your deli not to mention store is never stocked at nightUpdated 12-20-2022If you shop at this store check expiration dates because over the last 6 months i have found product after product expired still for sale on there shelves...contacted mangers to let them know and went back 2 weeks later same products out for sale...contacted corporate they said they would get it fixed in October of 2022...went back again today and expired products back on shelves..this yogurt is over 2 weeks expired and still for sale today on 12-20-2022

I just stopped at krogers to pick up a birthday cake for my brother and I ended up leaving the cake at the register. As me and my daughter began to put the grocery in my van, I didn't notice that I had left the cake inside. Low and behold one of the best customer service agent named Sherri brought the cake out to us. Thank you so much for your awesome customer service! Keep up the great work!!

The store was well stocked with associates around to ask questions if you weren't sure where something was.I have a great deal on honey spiral cut hams that ring up at .89 cents a pound! Ours had over $20 in savings.We noticed that both of the cart corrals were being collected but the Kroger Associates were just hanging out there on their phones.

I am happy to say that the front store Mgr, Advika was VERY kind and understanding. There are many cashiers who are super friendly, namely Michaela and many others that I see literally every week. I hope management handles this

Since the pandemic, the quality of Kroger's has continued to diminish. Recently they discontinued another of my favorite items, Turkey Hill ice tea. Their Kroger replacement is a pitifully poor replacement. DONT BOTHER TRYING IT! Garbage!

Wish I could give 0 stars, heck negative infinity! Place smelled like mix of raw, rotten meat or fish or dirty stinky diapers. Expired and gross looking products. I thought I was gonna throw up when I walked inside. Employees and managers don't give a rats behind. Never going here again. I'm sticking with the ones near my house.

Saw a sign outside hiring up to $15.50/hr. You guys are a joke. Try paying people something they can actually live off of, then maybe I wouldn't have to visit multiple stores to shop because you can't find people to keep your shelves stocked. I'm surprised the employees can still manage to be pleasant considering they're probably either working too many hours or eating Raman noodles every meal.
