I have had nothing but outstanding experiences with Jim and his team. Since moving to West Branch a few months ago, we have boarded our pups multiple times as well as groomed multiple times. Every single visit has been outstanding and the prices are great. I highly recommend Starkeeper Kennels for grooming or boarding in the West Branch area.

We took our dog Charlie here for the first time last week, and we are very happy with the service. They are very reasonably priced, and our guy was squeaky fresh and clean. He even got a bandana. The owner was super friendly and personable. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I am visiting in West Branch, I needed to get my puppy's nails trimmed. They had a cancellation so I decided to get him his first haircut. They were great with him. Treated him like their own. Will be coming back again next time Archie needs a haircut.

I took my Maltese there and Jim took her and said I’ll do her first. When I picked her up she had the worst choppy poodle style haircut I’ve ever seen! Poor girl. Looked like someone with no experience cut her hair. They knew she was a Maltese too because I told him when I made the appointment. I wil never go back there ever!

We trusted Jim with leaving our pride and joy there for a week at 19 weeks old. He was very well taken care of. He even bathed him. Jim was very accommodating as we needed to pick Thunder up later after business hours.I definitely give Jim a 5/5 stars and will take him there again.

The only place I trust to leave my dog when out of town, my lil min pin mix is not an easy customer yet he seemed very relaxed as if he had also went on a nice vacation. Extremely reasonable price too.

I am so very upset! I decided to take my poor baby girl to be groomed while up north at our cabin. When I picked her up the guy there did a hack job of cutting her. He missedseveral spots and I asked him not to cut her eye lashes and he cut them all off. Then when I picked her up he was calling her a cry baby.

The owner was a very nice gentlemen who encouraged my wife to call or text for an update on our dog while he was there. This is a very primitive kennel where each dog has there own inside space and 16 foot dog run.

I called to ask about boarding my dogs at this facility and when asked the breed of dogs I own I was immediately turned away due to them being a Pit breed and was told "they are a terrible breed of dog especially to board" . If i could leave 0 stars I would.
