Got some gear here for my first salmon fishing trip and did pretty well. Some stuff is a bit overpriced but nothing to bad and the fish cleaning is super convenient and cheap, will definitely be coming again on my next trip.

No more 24/7 fish cleaning was there at midnight and all lights were off. Owners have become a real trip this last 2 years. I’ll support fishermen’s headquarters down the road way before i even consider going back here

This was my first time in the area and I was looking forward to go fishing. I stopped by this place to buy a couple things. This place has the worst customer service. I went in around 11AM on a Saturday and the lady working there was extremely rude. All I asked was if she could help me find salmon lures. Her response was, "I can't help you, we're very busy." There were only 2 other guys in the store who she wasn't even assisting at the time. I was definitely looking to buy a couple of items from there, but unfortunately I will not be going back. Maybe she needs to be taught how to deal with customers better, she definitely lacks that.

Went into Pappy's to inquire about the local fishing and buy some tackle. He rudely turned his back on me and walked away. Worst service ever.Wolfies Fishing Headquarters down the road will be glad to help anyone. He's a great guy if you're going there for the first time or not.

I had a fire in my garage lost all my fish gear and my brother-in-laws too and I need to buy new everything and so does me brother-in-law I’m coming up and want to give my money to local bait shops but I’m driving 2 1/2 hrs and I ask papa to open up for me or open back up when I get there on Friday around 8 to buy all new stuff going to spend some coin and this guy says he’s working hundred hours I get that it’s that time of the year but I have been going there for at least 2 decades and he won’t open up for me well I will not buy from him no more

The owner decided to to kick all their customers out of the store and not even let anyone purchase there items in the middle of the morning and proceeded to lock the doors. Our family has been using this bait shop for years. We are Michigan residents but were driving a truck with Ohio plates that we borrowed to pull our camper and some locals said the owner doesn't care for people from out of state. But to close the store and kick everyone out because of that. We will never shop here again. We drove by an hour later and they were open.

Wonderful bait and tackle shop! Been servicing the area for generations! Easy to find right off the main drag. We found everything we needed including the best advice and directions! We'll be visiting again next year!

This is a really good place to get bait and food for a beardie if you have one. If you want to fish they have everything that you need to go fishing and if you caught something you can also take it here and clean it. You might get your name on the board if your fish is big enough.

Watch out for this place! Super, overly priced fishing gear. I only went there because I was desperate for some lures and there was no other bait shops close by. Come prepared so you don’t get scammed!
