this place needs new staff asap !!! everyone who works there is disabled/underage and doesn’t know how to help customers. i left $20 of stuff there and went back for it, mind you i had walked there. they told me they didn’t know what i was talking about even though they had the bag right there behind the counter. wasn’t until my boyfriend went back that we got our stuff..

Not sure what happened here, but the store has gone downhill fast in the areas of organization and cleanliness. Employees (all but one) are never idle and most are super friendly. Not sure if they need more help or better management, but isles are rarely stocked anymore and you have to navigate stock carts, piles of boxes, and a lot of dust not previously existing in the store. Some people blame the empty shelves on the recent loss of Dublin Store; however you can see the product piled up all over the store, just not stocked yet- and this problem began BEFORE the Dublin Store burned down. If you’re in the area from afar, better to drive the extra distance to the cleaner, better organized Dollar General in Irons.

The need to have more people working. The staff are nice enough but Dollar General seems to think people like to wait in 30 min lines. There wouldn't be lines if they allowed there managers to have more staff working.

This store is horrid, the management is always yelling and arguing amongst themselves as well as the cashiers. This had happened on multiple occasions. Their shelves are constantly empty and dirty. Don't get me started on the parking lot trash and cigarette butts everywhere. Service is lacking bad I stood in line for 15 minutes or more.

Their deli is excellent, deli meat prices are blow your mind cheap. Mine and my families favorite place to get sliced lunch meat and cheese. Now have friends to go there now. Very friendly people.

I went to Dollar General in Wellston, MI49689 and the workers are super friendly and helpful and always ask you if you want help finding anything and say hello. However the store is quite frequently out of items I want and sale items are way understocked or not shelved in the store. A + customer service but D+ on nonsite store stock planning and management.

According to some of the employees who work at the dollar General in Irons Michigan they stated that the store may be haunted. According to one of the employees whom I spoken with said she walked down the isle to the back room and then back to the counter her and another associate were talking when they heard a loud sound come from the back of the store upon checking it out both associates said three items from close to the top shelf unexplainly hit the floor.

Used to manage this store. Did very well with my staff...and we had fun getting there together!!! I shared all my bonuses with them along the way... but now. (NOT THE MANAGERS FAULT) the store is DUSTIUSGING!!! DG NEVER gives enough budged hours to their managers to run the stores effecicientenly.... They burn them out ...step on them , kick them to the curb and DON'T GIVE A DAMN!!!!

Ok place... But it's also the only place in this town! As for work they still haven't called me, there store in Kalava gave me a job but Wellston is close to home and I've seen people apply and get a job before me

Dollar general is a good spot for convenient quick and cheap household hold stuff and they accommodate for handicapped people. And are more then wiling to help anyone. 😁😁
