Every single person has been very great to work with. From Bob, our sales person- he was so nice and fun to shop with. Very helpful and we appreciate that! And then Trever in finance was really really great too!! We were also helped by Jim for our walk through, Aaron in the parts/accessories area, Andrew in parts and Cami at the front. Everyone was so great to work with. Also- yesterday Brett helped me on the phone and spent a long time helping me with something we missed. I really feel like this major purchase of ours is protected. I'm SO glad we made the drive from Saginaw. Worth it! Thank you all.

Pat was very knowledgeable in the product lines and was able to focus in on what we were looking for. He thought ahead and looked at incoming trades as they didn't have any current inventory that met our needs. The best RV buying experience in 40 years of RV'ing! Super salesperson, Brian Deboer, communication prior to arriving was quick and detailed. Trip to Wayland, MI was well worth it. The RV was in outstanding condition and Brian walked through and showed us it and answered everyone of our many questions. We pulled the trigger and went back the following week to pickup. The walkthrough was given by Paul Barager and he did a wonderful job covering all operations of the unit and answered all questions to the point we had 100% confidence in our ability to safely tow and operate our new unit. I highly recommend this Wayland store. Everybody went was extremely friendly and we were made to feel like family!

On multiple occasions we have been misinformed and straight up lied to about work that’s going to be done by a certain time and when we’re able to pick our trailer up. Multiple people have spoken to us with condescending tone and straight up disrespect. Even when we bought our camper, it had just been traded in and they said they would do all the things to get it working and looking right in time for us to take our planned trip. My husband called many times to ensure it was going to be done. We got a call the day before our trip saying there was no way it was going to be done. Just absolute garbage customer service. Don’t wast your time or money.

Service department was great! Got me in for a quick problem check with no appointment. Originally thought needed new brake system on my vehicle. Had a new system ready to sell me then they discovered it was a simple item on current system. Adjusted at no charge to me. Could have sold me something didn't need easily. The team at General are rock stars. Anthony was an A+ communicator and the whole experience from finding the right unit for the right price was positive and informative. We got a great introduction to our unit and our new hitch and left feeling confident in our ability to haul and take care of our fifth wheel. Marcus Albrecht was amazing. We have been looking for a camper for close to 2 1/2 months with unprofessional sales people and financial nightmare. General RV went above and beyond our expectations. Marcus was very patient and overflowing with differences in the trailers we were looking at. Scott Boone in finance was super helpful and overly wonderful to talk to. I can't say enough about our experience. I highly recommend both if your in the market for a camper.

Recently bought a new travel trailer. The whole staff was amazing! They went above and beyond and Jordan was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. We did our final walk thru with Robert and he was a true expert on the ins and outs of our Transcend RV. Will definitely be back and highly recommended to everyone we know.

When buying an RV or any high-dollar vehicle, remember that the after-sale service experience is just as important as the buying experience.This is where General RV in Wayland, Michigan shines. Our salesman, Gary V, (a well-seasoned salesman) guided us through every step of the purchase to ensure we were delighted. Moreover, Gary V. remains a valuable contact even after the sale. He continues to help us and has gone over and beyond to make sure any issues we have are taken care. This is even after the purchase several months ago.Jeffery V, our service coordinator also went above and beyond to make sure that all of our OEM issues were resolved as quickly as possible. He even came in on his own time during the holidays and stayed with us until some emergent issues were corrected.In summary, I highly recommend General RV in Wayland, Michigan for your next purchase or any service work. They set the bar for other dealerships to follow!

Jeff was very forthcoming with all possible charges while I had my camper’s wheel bearing’s replaced. The work was completed in a timely fashion, and my entire camper was inspected for no extra charge. We’ve had nothing but good experiences with the service department at General RV. Jeff was very professional and friendly, and I assume the rest of the staff would give any customer the same experience.

We purchased a brand new RV in October 2022. We have had nothing but trouble with it. It has been in the shop for repairs more than it has been in our driveway. The dealership and Thor the manufacturer have not made things right with us. We spent more than 100k for the RV and we are very disappointed with it and the people at General RV and Thor. We want them to take the RV back and refund our money. Different repairs techs said that things were installed without the quality and rushed to get the RV out for purchase. Legal action seems to be the only remedy at this point. We feel that we have been taken by the dealership and the manufacturer.

Hello, I had an amazing experience with General RV, My tow vehicle was delayed in delivery and didn’t arrive till a few days before my vacation started, I called Jeff at the Wayland General RV Michigan Store and explained to him my situation, he was able to get me an appointment that day! He adding a new hitch, replaced outdated tires, new brakes (one was destroyed and I didn’t know it) greased the wheel bearings and added a new Power tongue jack, Here’s the best part, Jeff got me out in 3 hours!!!The Techs were all over the camper and were super easy to talk with and very informative. If your heading up US 131 in Michigan, stop by and ask for Jeff. I highly recommend Jeff and Wayland General RV.

I moved my appt twice because of impending bad weather and traveling through the state. Which your scheduling department couldn’t have been nicer about. I had a relatively minor warranty job and was so happy with the quick turnaround and nice guys helping me! Brett was welcoming and quick to have Paul change out a cabinet door. I also had requested a quick tutorial on the Truma heating system and Brett followed through asking Paul to walk me through the steps. Such nice, professional men and so helpful! I can’t say enough good about my experience with General RV and with employees like Brett and Paul you will continue to have my business!!

Brought my Grand Design in for warranty work. Sat for three months. Low Fan won't work on air conditioning. Slide won't slide gets crooked. Freezer won't freeze. Stove won't light. Cabinet doors warped. Ok fine. Low Fan still don't work freezer won't freeze slide won't slide. Scheduling out of warranty. So we will see if they fix it out of warranty. My advise is if you got warranty issues deal with them immediately. Wayland Rv is incompetent. Or just don't like warranty work.

We bought our brand new Voltage 5th wheel and are currently on a road trip from Florida to out west. So far 3 tires have exploded! Come to find they used cheap 12 ply tires which are not rated for an rv of this size! Along with other problems we've had since day one, I would not recommend this rv. It is very very cheaply made and we've had to reinforce several parts.Very disappointed!

General Rv service charges customers over $250 per hour for attempting service repairs. The so called technicians can't pass tests to become certified so the management takes the tests for them. I worked there for over 9 years and was shocked to see just how unbelievably bad the service employees are. Repeatedly, customers return over and over again to attempt to get trailers, motor homes and 5th wheels repaired correctly. It was embarrassing to me watching customers that returned repeatedly for repairs that were not fixed correctly the first time. Extremely high turn over of employees both in sales and service give a strong indication of poor leadership and management. Sales people brag to customers about the great service department. I would not let them attempt to install a set of mud flaps on my vehicle. My advise is to take your business else where. Price mark ups are regularly in excess of 300%. I hope you don't become a victim of this company.

My wife and I recently worked with Anthony Aguilar at General RV of Wayland, MI. Our intention was to purchase a new Entegra Vision class A motorhome. Anthony was amazing to work with, as was the rest of the staff at General RV.In the end, our plans had to change due to a family emergency. Update to this review.Over the years, we've purchased three travel trailers from General RV, two tow behinds and our latest, a 5th wheel. The sales staff have always been excellent and very patient with us as it takes us a while to wander thru all the trailers and ask lots and lots of questions (Thank-you Dawn ). Pricing has been a consideration as we prefer to purchase outright without financing and they are very competitive. The service dept. is superb, too. Fast, and also very willing to answer any and all questions.All in all, we're very happy campers (pun intended) and I'm sure our next purchase will be from General RV, too.And, our new review.We just purchased our 4th RV from General RV in Wayland. Once again, Dawn worked with us to find the perfect camper for our needs. She is the absolute best when it comes to understand customer needs with no high pressure sales pitches. She works with you to find what you want.The photo is our new to us 35 foot Keystone Outback with 3 slides. She actually found this RV at one of their dealerships outside of Chicago and had it brought to the Wayland location for us to peruse.I highly recommend talking to Dawn for your next RV purchase.

Horrible sales experience. We did not buy from them. Salesman knew very little about the brand we were interested in and refused to tell us what options we could get. Would not let us see a build sheet. Very high pressure sales. Their “final” price was over 10k more Stay away from this place like we did.

I stopped in to buy some UV protectant for my camper I purchased here and while walking by the front counter associates as well as some sales people nobody said anything (probably 4-5 people). I did have a younger guy come out and assist me in the store area which was knowledgeable and very helpful.While leaving General RV and walking right by the same people and again nobody said a word. Definitely have a hard time buying from a company that provides poor customer service, when I can go to many other competitors in the area to get better service.
