Worst experience of my life! Dangerous! We went there to feed the trout and took a few steps on the pier when a rotted board gave way and our friend's leg was dangling in the water, lodged between the shattered board. Luckily the board was so rotten we were able to break the remaining board with our hands to release her leg, there was bruising, bleeding, scratches, wood impaled her leg and severe swelling in days to come. Poorly maintained. Thankful this did not happen to a child.

Check the hours before you go. Its worth the trip as you dont need licenses, poles, bait, or have to clean them. Just don't catch more than you plan on eating. I would recommend this to anyone looking for fresh trout or a fun family event.

My partner took me and my two kids here the other day and it was such a good time! My son is 5 and he was just beside himself with glee watching the giant trout eat the little pellets. For 25 cents you can get a handful of the little pellets and the fish go crazy for them! The hatchery has a bunch of different kinds of trout, including Golden Trout and hybrid Tiger Trout. There is an area where you can "fish" for your dinner and they give you the pellets for that. You do have to pay for the fish you catch there but the owner cleans and packs them on ice for you. The owner is absolutely wonderful and entertaining. My son was just fascinated with the gentleman and the back-and-forth between them was hilarious. What a wonderful place and wonderful people. I'll definitely be back with my kids!

This was a fun experience for the family. Great idea for the kids since the fish are not shy to bite. The staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful. The girl with purple hair was fantastic! They even clean the fish and pack on ice for you!

Fun for the grandchildren; interesting for grandparents. Caught lots of trout. Ate them for dinner and they were fantastic! Cleanest water anywhere I've been. Worth every penny.

I had so much fun fishing! Can't wait to go back next year. Just wish they didn't have barbs on the hooks (hard to get it out of fish) and if they could fillet the fish that would be awesome!

What an incredible experience. My brother from Alaska, wanted brook trout so badly and the owner helped us accomplish that with so much action and absolute fun. The tour was informative and so entertaining. I fried up 5 brook trout, one rainbow, and one brown in brown butter and garlic. -----To die for! The fish were cleaned, posed for pictures and all done with smiles and friendliness. The enjoyment of this unusual place was evident in all who were there and in the faces of the owner. Well done, indeed. World Class!!!!!!

This place has so much to see! It's natural, beautiful, and full of wild life. The fishing is fun for any age. Over-all, great experiences will be had. Awesome owners who do tours, and treat you like family!

Stopped in while they were closed and fed the fishies. My 3 year old loved it and they were super nice to let us in off hours to feed the fish.

We've been here the past two years and have enjoyed it with our younger children. For $0.25 you can buy pellets to feed the big fish and then head over and do some "fishing". As someone else said, it's catching fish in a barrel which works well for young ones. The fish is delicious and they do a great job of cleaning and packing the fish for you!

Great family outing. We caught 109 inches of rainbow trout and the kids had a blast. And boy were they good on the grill for dinner that night! We will come back!

My friend and I visited back in July while on a vacation in Eagle River WI, this place was absolutely beautiful! And we even got a tour from a kind man and his granddaughter! If you are in the area you should definitely head out. Clearest water I have ever seen! Make sure you go over to the falls aswell!

Dino is such a gracious host and a wonderful tour guide! My friends and I had a wonderful time learning about the fresh spring and all about the trout! I absolutely recommend stopping in here for a fun time. We caught 2 trout and they were delicious. It's great because they are all spring kept and fed non toxic food, so the meat tastes clean!

I have been taking my kids to this hatchery for over 15 years. We do not fish, but go and spend time feeding and watching the beautiful trout. It is definitely a huge hit with anyone we take to see the beautiful crystal clear ponds, the old hatchery buildings and of course seeing various colors of Trout while we are there

We spent around 2 hours here and had a blast feeding the trout in the big pond and catching them in the stream. The owner was great to talk to and had some tips on other places to visit in the area! Lots of fun and highly recommended!!

This is a great place for kids to learn how to fish. Staff is friendly and helpful. The fish we caught were cleaned and put on ice. I recommend this place as a fun family activity.

This is great fun for the entire family and the owners are just the nicest people. Such an interesting experience because you don't think much about how fish are grown or transported to lakes and private ponds. I highly recommend.

Very interesting place to visit and it's run by great people! If you're not in the area long enough to find the fish or just don't want to, stop by this place and catch some tasty trout. Obviously, it's a sure thing, but it is still pretty darn fun pulling them out of that pond. In the end, you go home with some high quality, healthy fish straight out of the water, fresh, cleaned, and at a reasonable price.

Love this place. They were almost fished out when we went there but going s bit earlier in then summer avoids that (we went in mid August) it's not the cheapest form of entertainment. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Fish is delicious and clean. I hate fishing, but I love this place.

Kids had so much fun!. You could tell Dale enjoyed what he does. He taught the kids how to clean the fish after they were caught. Made sure pictures were taken and gave the kids a popsicle at the end!
