I recently sent a floral bouquet for a dear friends funeral. I was very disappointed to see the arrangement Watkins sent. They had substituted the beautiful vase that was the reason I ordered that beautiful piece. I was not notified of the change, so no opportunity to change my choice. So unhappy I was never informed and I did make a call to the florist to make my disappointment known. There wasn't any adjustments offered.

Very happy with my experience with Watkins Flowers. I wanted to order flowers to be delivered to my mom for Mother’s Day and thought I’d try local instead of the big online places that I am never impressed with. They were delivered fresh and before noon. Plus I got an email letting me know they were delivered, which was very much appreciated. I can see why they have been in business all these years. Highly recommended.

It truly takes a special small business to demonstrate to their community that they REALLY care about giving back. Cheryl and the team at Watkins Flowers worked with Chosen Infertility Group in providing all of the centrepieces for our Inaugural event. Not only was it a huge success, everyone raved about the flower arrangements. Having started a non-profit two years ago (in the thick of Covid), I've come to learn that it is the network in which you do business that makes you stand out. The success of our event is due to those involved in giving back. These ladies are absolutely the kind of people you'd want to have by your side with all the various moments life calls for flowers.

Don't support the big box stores, there flowers last half the time, than the flowers purchased from Watkins,. Cheryl Orman is fantastic and her designs have made many people in my life happy. We decided to order flowers for the birth of a coworker's first born and went all in. It was going to be plethora of pink gerberas, white and pink roses. When we saw the pictures of the bouquet they received, we felt really bad. It was nothing we had anticipated. Carnations, thirsty gerberas and roses of different sizes. I drove to Walled Lake to show them what happened and was offered (just) 50% back. Personally, I think the trust is broken. That has no price.

My Mom passed away and we went to get flowers for her funeral. Although the flowers were beautiful, we also ordered 5 living plants to be taken home by her close family members after the funeral. When I purchase these plants I specifically asked for plants that were safe for cats. The plants we were given were also beautiful, however after taking them home we found ALL were toxic to cats. I would have expected a florist to know the difference and I trusted their word.Thankfully no kitty lives were lost however we now have 5 family members in various parts of the country with these beautiful plants sitting outside. That was not the intended use of these plants. I am unhappy that I paid $60 each for 5 living plants, That cannot be used the way they were intended. The intended use was to have a living plant indoors, that could be enjoyed for years to come, safely.I would have expected the florist to do research on the plants they chose, As we specifically requested safe for cats.In the future I will do my own research prior to purchasing any plants.I will say all of the flowers and plants we received were beautiful.

We had a funeral recently for our son. Watkins Flowers worked closely with the funeral home to provide the best floral arrangement possible. They provided the right flowers to compliment a theme for the visitation and funeral service for a unique situation. All or the staff were cordial, greeting us warmly and displayed genuine sympathy for us. Watkins Flowers coordinated orders for flowers coming in from many people. The staff were highly knowledgeable and were able to fill all of the orders on 2 days' time.

My husband ordered flowers for me for my birthday while he was deployed. He left both of our numbers just in case because, again, he is deployed. They called me about the order which gave away the surprise. It wasn't really a huge deal, could happen to anyone, but when I brought it up (in a nice, mostly joking way) the lady I spoke with was SO rude and said "well that's the number he left so it's not our fault". I don't care whose fault it is, customer service 101 is to apologize when things don't go your customer's way. She also informed me she didn't have the flowers he had already paid for and again, didn't apologize. I decided I'd rather not give this business his hard earned money and cancelled, so now we await a refund. At least we can get our money back.It's nothing to me, I'm just upset for my husband. It's hard enough on him being away from his family, then add on this nonsense. He really wanted to do something nice for me while I'm taking care of everything on my own.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful! They did my son and daughter in law to-be wedding and did an excellent job. The bouquets and boutonnieres were beautiful! They also assisted me with centerpieces (and still kept me on budget) which were stunning! This was one part of wedding planning that I was 100% confident in and trusted. We received many compliments. I highly recommend them

The quality of their flowers are the best. They bloom larger and last much longer than Costco, Kroger or other florists we've tried. There really is a big difference! That along with their knowledgeable staff and very fair pricing makes Watkins Flowers our only choice. Plus, we love being able to support other local small business!

She was very quick to get back to me and sent my mom a whole new replacement bouquet for free, plus a free box of chocolates. Amazing customer service. This is the perfect way to run a business.

This was my first time ordering a flower arrangement and I was very disappointed. I ordered a flower arrangement as a surprise for my mom for Christmas. A family member of mine was suppose to pick it up and forgot. Watkins then somehow got my moms number and called her. I placed the order, I paid for the order, and I know that I did not put down my mom’s name anywhere on the order. Watkins called my mom, instead of calling me, and ruined the surprise...I chose Watkins Flowers because it’s a local business but the customer service was below average.

I reached out to Watkins Flowers to have a custom bouquet of 12 dozen roses prepared and delivered to my fiance, with only a one day notice. Not only were the roses absolutely beautiful and delivered on the exact time I had requested them to be delivered, but they even provided a complimentary vase for the bouquet. We coordinated everything through text, which made it very conveinent. Their customer service is 5 stars! I will definitely use them in the future and reccomend them to all my peers.

This store has great flowers! I walked in because it is close to my house and I was sick of buying Meijer flowers that only lasted me 5-7 days. I paid $10 for a small bouquet of mixed flowers and they lasted me 3 weeks! no joke. Yes I had to pull a few out here and there but no biggie. I will definitely be going to this store in a few days for mothers day.

Very very disappointed. Ordered funeral flowers exactly like what was sent to another funeral. Had the name of who bought them date bought and asked for exact same thing. Alot of money but wanted them as they were beautiful. what arrived was a teeny tiny bubble vase not a 1/5 the size of one I saw and requested and the flowers looked squished and it looked like a lot of nothing. So very disappointed.Addendum: I will add that Watkins amended the charge after I called and they apologized for their error. While it cannot be undone, I respect their willingness to discuss and adjust cost. I may try them again as I am all about small buisness support.
