Even if you swear you don't like fruitcake you must try it here! The fruits are candied in house and the primary ingredient is pecans. Have been asked to bring it back to friends that taste it. Great Thanksgiving gift.

I drive up an hour from Wisconsin every year to browse through this festive store. This year I only bought a pair of Christmas candles. Unique items. Worth the trip!

Cute place, coffee, pastries, ice cream and lots of unique gifts. Stop in just to browse. Clean restrooms and the lady who worked there was very nice to us just talking like she's known us forever! We purchased a tube of goatmilk lotion and it's amazing.. blood orange scent!

Very cool store with oh so many awesome options for gifts. She also has hard scooped ice cream for cones or cups, and carries Sayklly's chocolates and other delicious goodies (an Escanaba family owned company). Make sure you wander to the back so you can see everything, which includes Christmas ornaments. It's super cute, and I stop a few times a year just so I can support a locally owned business.

Having said this....this store is unlike any other.She works very hard to have unique items to sell. We were in the UP on vacation, drove past this amazing store/coffee/ice cream shop one of our best finds EVER!! So many unique and fairly priced gifts/souvenirs, the ice cream is WONDERFUL (Deans Brand), and my husband had a turtle latte which was fantastic!! To top it all off the cashier was so busy, people lined up out the door purchasing things, ordering ice cream and coffee; she never got frustrated, never short on smiles or helpful words. A MUST STOP IN PLACE, VERY, VERY MUCH WORTH THE STOP!!

Hidden gem!We turned off the main highway seeking a restroom and coffee. This place was cute. The coffee was excellent, they had all sorts of little gifts, toys, and candy. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.Ice cream, fudge, coffee, and gifts. I would absolutely go out of my way to stop here in the future!

Adorable shop! Makes gift shopping a breeze. I went in to buy local made gifts to send to my team in California. To my surprise the owner had packing and shipping available - boxes even arrived before Christmas. There is a family and community vibe to this place. It’s always a great experience here.

It has a decent selection of products but the woman I dealt with was extremely rude. I simply took a picture to price compare and got a lecture about how I’m helping fund corporate America. I was going to buy something but now I’ll never be back, oh well *response to owner* actually I was planning on purchasing something from your store to support my home state, however I couldn’t afford all the books I wanted in that moment and I’d forget( if you must know I was going to buy a slide whistle and the 100 best cannabis strains book) Also I saw no sign saying not to take pictures so I did. Even then after you asked me to stop I obliged. Thank you but I can evaluate my own actions and I see who in the wrong, and even if I did there was no sign anywhere(maybe you should make one) and that was no way to be treated as a patron of the store, so I will never be back and I’ll almost pay others to go somewhere else also

What a lovely general store! Ice cream, coffee shop and gifts galore! Lots of samples to taste. Syrup, salad dressing, jam etc made from Michigan blueberries. Novelty gifts for kids making it a great last minute gift giving shopping stop!

This is a pretty cool place! Walking through and seeing all the old games and candies brought back some great memories! While there, get some ice cream or an espresso and take your time looking at all the really neat items. The lady behind the counter was super nice and accommodating offering Almond Milk for my latte when I mentioned I am lactose intolerant and bonus...prices are very reasonable!

Was driving through and stopped for a look. They have a large variety of things to browse through. I ended up purchasing a few candies and trinkets that were more of the tourist type. The service was excellent and the lady behind the counter was most helpful. The restroom was clean and parking was easy. If you are driving by, stop and check it out.

If you've never been to the UP, this would be a great store for you. Even though I've been to the UP many times and have family from there and still living there I think this little shop is a nice place to go grab some coffee and a few other souvenirs.Their staff are pleasant and it's family owned, so I feel it's a good place to spend a few bucks.

Thought it was just a great little ice cream shop/general store. It was like walking into a TARDIS, much bigger on the inside. For my part, the Jilwin's ice cream was great, and the proprietress was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Stopped by for a waffle cone on a road trip back home. Very nice customer service and they have a large variety of ice cream. Had the clerk fill up my nalgene and they even added ice - no charge. I am happy I stopped.
