This is a great family-friendly pet store. They have a variety of pet supplies, and if they don’t have something, just ask as they may be able to order something for you. Recently, they ordered baby tortoises for us, arrived within a few days- healthy and happy.They also host a pet vaccination clinic regularly. It’s a great way to get pets up to date on veterinary care at a reduced rate.Our whole family enjoys trips to Magoo’s!

Very knowledgeable staff. They carry some of the GOOD brands of pet food. Not just the stuff made with rendered “meal” ingredients. They can steer you to good brands for your pet’s needs.

My favorite pet store! They always have what I need, the girls are super friendly and helpful. I've even bought a few animals from there. The attached video is the blue tongue skink, Tish (Morticia) with a hornworm.

I bought a hampster cage that stated all pieces in and nothing broken. I put together when I got home and a small little purple piece was broke which would have been easy to miss, I even missed it, until I put it together and my hamster went running in the wheel up top and it was leaning. So I took apart and noticed it broke. I go back to state that it was infact broke and that I understand it could have been hard to see. Sydney the store manager stated that she put it together and it was not broke! I said could have been easy to miss trying to be calm and nice... so refused to give me my money back saying I was lying!!! How professional is that for a manager to say a customer was lying? And refuse ur hard earned money back... ???? I will be getting ahold of corporate and emailing until I speak to someone from the company and make this right! I will not spend another $in this store.

After today's experience (with Brooke), I will no longer give my business to this store, and will buy dog food for my 3 dogs from Pet Supplies Plus, where their employees value and appreciate their customers. Today I purchased a bag of dog food that was on sale. I noticed on my receipt that it rang up regular price. The two girls working didn't know how to give a refund for the difference and told me "it would be more convenient for THEM" if I gave my number and came back another time for the refund. I then asked "you are going to inconvenience me and have me drive 15 minutes to come back, to make it more convenient for yourself " and she (didnt get her name, young girl, long pony tail) replied "yes". I explained that was not how customer service works and asked if she could call her boss to learn how to refund the difference. Both girls were VERY irritated. After going back and forth with me about how I was inconveniencing them by asking them to do their job, the girl who seemed to be in charge called her boss and in a matter of about 3 minutes had it figured out. She refunded the difference, and said to me "thank you, enjoy the rest of your day", I thanked her back and ALMOST left a happy customer, until Brooke came back over (the one who originally rang up the dog food). I smiled and said thank you to her as I was getting ready to leave. To my surprise she stood there and gave me a dirty look. I thought maybe she didn't hear me, so again I looked her in the eyes and told her thank you, and again she stood there, giving me a dirty look, and refused to acknowledge my thanking her (for basically doing her job). I then asked for the manager's name, and her response in a very rude tone was "we don't have a manager" I then asked for the owner's name, which she gave me (after a long pause - I don't think she wanted to give me his name). I then asked for her name, which she said "my name is Brooke", again in a rude tone and after a long pause. What ever happened to friendly customer service, and doing your JOB with a smile? Hopefully after reading this review Jason will educate his staff on the positive (and negative) effects of good (and bad) customer service. Because of Brooke's bad attitude toward me, after I was very appreciative, they have lost a long time customer.

I went to this store for my first time over the weekend. This place was awesome. I found everything I was looking for and the staff was friendly. Also they have great prices on toys and treats for pups. My furry family loves their new toys and treats, thanks Magoos!

Nice store. Bought a crate and had issues with setting up. Long story short, last of 3 different ways to get instructions which were stuck inside the crate that would not open- (I believe some of the grates got jammed thru shipping) I called the store and the girl actually took the time to check it out on store computer for any info. They have very good customer service.

They have everything you can think of, pet food & toys. Even hairless guinea pigs & chinchillas. Clean organized good staff the manager even has sweet ink!

Be aware of what you purchase here. I bought dog food from here and it had white spots/blotches on the kibble, for me it’s mold. If you love your pets plz do not shop here. The crew is very rude and bugs are crawling around the pet food.

Majors has a lot to offer for your pets and even some things you won't typically find at petsmart or petco like locally sourced dog treats/bones and vivariums/terrariums for reptiles and amphibians.The staff is very friendly and helpful and the store is neat and tidy. Prices are reasonable too

I adopted a cat that likes to chew on my dining chair legs. I went into this store and the sales clerk was very helpful. She walked me over to a section that had cat repellents for furniture. She was helpful and friendly. Thank you! The only downside is the animal odor in the store was very strong, but it could have been that I am not used to it and was unprepared to be hit with such pungency.

The checkout ladies are awesome! So lets start with that. Now, the stores got plenty of ...well anything you need really. From dogs n cats to hamsters n guinea pigs, and birds. Either way great selection and great friendly service.👍👍

Bought a hamster, lived 5-6 weeks. Replaced it, lived 8 days. They refused to issue a refund and basically blamed me for poor care without asking anything about how we cared for it. Would NOT recommend, selling sick animals and NO customer service.

Amazing prices and good quality pet products! I get my cats their raw food and treats here, couldn't find a place near me that sold them until I found Magoos! Plus their normal kibble is cheaper here compared to everywhere else. The owner is very friendly and helpful! Definitely my go to place to shop and spoil my pets! Highly recommend! 😊

Didn't Carry the cat food I buy, plus they are 20 cents higher than any other competitor.Not much choice on cat food. I buy it off Amazon now. Cheaper.

Although I did not buy anything from Magoo, it was nice to be able to pick up items that I ordered from Wish here. It was an easy process, and the clerk was very friendly with respect to my pickup. Thank you for that :)

This place just open on Thanksgiving Day 2018. So far seems like a pretty great place it looks good, very clean and best of all the prices are pretty cheap. Looking at the pet supplies and the doggie beds the prices are pretty cheap compared to regular pet stores and the big box stores. I got some fish food today and a couple items for my fish tank and also some doggie toys and spent a total of 13 bucks. We will definitely be back!

Had a very great experience here today, and if I could give 500 stars I would. Our dog just got diagnosed with cancer yesterday and we were looking for low carb dog food. We were referred here by petco. A man , I’m assuming was the owner, was so knowledgeable and helpful to my mom and I. It was a great experience, and I would recommend this place to everyone.

LOVE this place! Everyone is friendly and truly care about the animals there. (They had rats, guinea pigs, and reptiles.)They carry a lil bit of everything.If you are strapped for cash, they do have a lot of clearanced (close to date) pet foods and treats.Don't forget to sign up for their loyalty card.

I like the one in Sterling Heights better. Only because the dog selection seems larger. Although the stuff was very nice and helpful. I'm only giving three stars only because The selection of dog items didn't appear to be as many as the one in Sterling heights.
