Last March I took my L118 John Deere tractor for the spring $200+ spring maintenance they do including the list of items it says on the invoice that was given me(SEE PICTURE). Since I am not mechanical, I was likely taken advantage of in MORE ways than the ones that I can see, however, I did see a few. For one, my blades were NOT sharpened. I know that because the blades were rusted on and as you can see, it doesn't even look as if they attempted to remove them! Then, how about scraping the underside of the deck!? You can see by the enclosed pictures just how well they did that. I have to wonder what else on the list that I was charged for that was not done that I can't see? Then I was provided an invoice of repairs needed for $1248.83 and in an email I was told that my tractor was at the end of its life and for that price I was better off getting a new one. I asked him what it would take just to fix the voltage regulator because I had to jump the tractor to start it every time I used it as it would not recharge. I received his emailed response telling me that the parts would be $208.00 (for voltage regulator) and the labor was going to the $110. I believe he forgot that he just sent me a list of the cost of all the items and the voltage regulator on the list was $31.50!! Wow! What a mark up from $31.50 to 208.00 for a woman who might not know no better!! Instead I bought my own parts at a different John Deere/Greenmark store; a voltage regulator and new blades since my blades were quite obviously not touched during the service where they were supposed to be sharpened. I had a friend install my voltage regulator and it took my friend literally all of 10 minutes to install it because it is right there on the side of the tractor, easily accessible as you can see in the picture that I took. Yet they wanted to charge me $110 for labor to install that!!I did call them with my complaints and was basically blown off with some excuse like I may have not been able to tell and it (the deck) may have been worse and they DID scrape it. By the way, I used my "end of it's life" tractor all summer last year and I plan to use it all summer this year as well.Also, just to bring up another incident with the Union store; when my mother had her tractor at the same store for repair several years ago, it was stolen from the lot. Greenmark's insurance only paid around $1000 so SHE had to come up with another $1000, give or take, for a new tractor. Her lawn tractor was in for a minor fix and she ended up having to purchase a new tractor!! One way or another to get those tractors sold I guess!

I was having an issue with my John Deer mower. I called and spoke with Adam.. This was possibly the best customer service experience I have encountered in a very long time. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He went as far as taking pictures of the part installation on another unit and texting me the photo's. He was able to help get me up and running in Wa state when local dealers couldn't. Great job GreenMark for having such amazing staff.

I recently got a 2021 John Deere 120 model. Mowed a 1/2 acre with it. And the belt had came off and shredded during that short time.. I expected better with a John Deere for the price I paid. I called and talked to customer service. I was told they would pick it up in the next three days. After I've already waited 6 weeks for the mower. Then they told me it may or may not be covered under warranty. It's unbelievable I only have owned the mower for 2 hours and to have this happen.

The staff is very helpful. I needed a part for my leaf vacuum, not a John Deere brand, and they found it. Within a couple days they fit it in. Price inline with what available of the internet. But better quality.

I bought two pieces of Stihl equipment, the parts guy Jeff was very knowledgeable. He walked me through the starting and running of the equipment. I thought I was having problems a few days later and took the string trimmer back in and had Adam look at it. A few minutes later I was on my way back home and all was good.

I purchased a new 915E commercial Zturn from the dealership in Union, Michigan. I had only used it a few times before the end of season. Zach was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I am headed back for a snowblower. Great place and great service.

Tim the Service manager was very nice. He was able to fit me in for an emergency repair so I did not lose out on more days of work. Would highly suggest everyone give them a try at GreenMark!

I took my mower in to see why i was braking belts and they quoted me about $850.00 to repair which I thought was very costly. So I said I would do the work and just buy the parts. They told me what I needed and I tore it a part and the parts they told were not bad and had nothing to do with why I was breaking belts so be very careful getting repairs done because they will replace parts that aren't bad.Also now they send me a $100.00 bill for some that had nothing to do with why i took it there in the first place. I feel John Deere is out to sick to the customer with every dime they can !!! I have been going to John Deere for 15 to 20 years and was thinking about getting a new mower but now I will never set foot in there again and not buy a John Deere mower.. Very poor customer service.. I feel like I have been lied too and cheated......... I must add to this post that John Deere has taken care of this issue and has renewed my faith in there customer service and i give them an A+ thank you.

In 1996 I ordered a new LT-166,then in 1999 I ordered a new LX-288(I still own this tractor and still use it)Then in 2010 I ordered a new X-534 with quad power steering.The quality has been outstanding and will buy another one in the future.

Took my John Deere push mower there over 2 weeks ago to get a $99 service on it. I was told they change oil sharpen blade clean the bottom of the deck change plug. They changed the plug oil air filter but didnt sharpen the blade or clean the bottom of the mower like i was told by the service manager Tim, also was told they were changing the hours on 06/08/19. he told me they were closing at 12PM or sooner which was a lie because we ended up picking it up right before 3PM. Forgot to mention my mower wouldnt start because my carb needed replaced which would cost over $60 and take almost 2 hours to replace all together totaling over $250 online i found the same carb for almost $15 cheaper. videos on Youtube only take about 15 to 20 mins to replace. At $105 hour your better off either doing it yourself or finding someone else that does small engine work for 1/4 of the price or at a set price. Also they don't tell you the rate up front they wait until there finished or halfway done with it to tell you. Honestly they need a new manager that knows what he is talking about!!

Sold me a 14,000 dollar piece of scrap metal. Assured me it was a solid tractor that just had all maintenance and clutch work done. Turned out the all the plastic ears are broken off the body, the engine needs piston rings, and the clutch is barely hanging on. Lessons learned, this place is a rip off and John Deere is an Indian made tractor that is no damn good anymore.

These guys sold me a $4000 lawn mower that doesn't work. After spending a week at my house, the service guy finally just told me I was hosed and that I should trade it in. What a terrible experience.
