In my opinion this is the greatest pet store in the area. The staff here are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My husky pup, Nymeria, loses her mind with excitement when I ask if she wants to go see Michelle, a managers at the Troy location. She and the other staff are worth their weight in gold. All of the staff members seem to love their jobs here and that makes for a great environment. If you need help there is always someone happy to help. If you would rather browse or shop alone they are happy to give you space.I have used the bath tubs that they have in the store to wash our pups in and it is a must if ever they are in need. They provide all of the products needed for a sparkling pooch and varieties of soaps, conditioners and more.The store has great high quality products. It is nicely organized, clean, and inviting. I cannot say enough good things about this store and this company. The other major bonus, in my opinion, is that the company is owned by local families. Local does not mean that you will sacrifice anything that bigger stores have to offer. I find it to be quite the opposite.

So I visited this location me and my best friend didn't fill welcome as we entered the store the cashier did ask if we need help .the other cashiers where debating if they wanted to help us 🤦‍♀️ only one cashier seem to be helpful why we asked questions. I don't think I and my friends will visit this location. I will be posting this on yelp as well. And letting others no I and my best friend felt uncomfortable.

So many options for treats, food, & toys. They even offer a dog washing station. I also can't say enough about the friendly staff... they're awesome.Every month or so, there's also a professional pet photographer that comes to offer photos, and proceeds go to local animal welfare organizations.

I would like to begin by saying that I have been a customer of Premier when the only store you had was the Beverly Hills location. I have been going to your Troy location and have been bowled over by the quality of the employees there. I recently got a puppy and Michelle has been just amazing with helping me navigate through all my questions and uncertainty in picking out the best food for him. Her immense product knowledge and patience with me has been such a confidence builder. Thank you again Michelle and the rest of the team in Troy. You are much appreciated.

This is the best pet store. Michelle cuts my bunnies nails and is awesome! The rest of the staff is amazing and super knowledgeable. They've helped me through changing foods for my cat and my dogs. They have the best products and I feel great knowing that all of my babies are getting the best quality foods, treats, and toys. I place orders for most of my foods and love that Isave money through their rewards program. We also get free food/bags of hay. They are full sized bags and it deffinitely helps to have that free bag coming to me, periodically. They are, without a doubt, the best in the area! Other stores don't compare! We love Premier Pets and are happy to support our local business. 💙

This was my first trip here but it will not be my last. I was dog sitting for our cousin and ran out of the meal topper for their pup. The staff was very helpful and attentive. I also decided since I was planning on changing our dogs food to see if they carried the brand. Not only do they carry it but helped me with instructions for the food transition. To top it off they have an amazing awards program. I’m so happy I found a great pet supplies store with knowledgeable staff that listen to my needs.

Negative stars if I could. Absolute brain dead bafoons at the counter. I always leave upset over a mistake they made. Never have anything in stock that I need. GO TO THE BEVERLY HILLS LOCATION!! they are super nice and knowledgeable there, the Troy staff always treats me like garbage. Worst location

Friendly staff, great offerings of high quality pet supplies, do have a few exotic pets for sale in appropriate enclosures. Mom adopted a cat from the Michigan Humane Society that was in the store's adoption center. Very nice clean area with large enclosures for each cat. We were gifted several pet items with the adopted cat! Highly recommend visiting this local small business.

Premier Troy is a great shopping experience! It has an amazing wide selection of products, and a warm and welcoming staff. On my last visit I was wowed by the great service that Ren provided me. Ren was knowledgeable, showed genuine interest, and was efficient and personable! We ended up creating a new diet plan for my cat Kiki, personalized to her special requirements, all in record time.Thank you Ren & Premier!

Great place for anything your pet needs. The are a lot of food choices. They range from inexpensive to high quality gourmet pet foods.We love the pet showers that you can rent and give your dog a bath. Everything is provided in there, shampoo, conditioner, brushes, combs, towels and even a hair dryer.

We come here for mealworms, waxworms, and crickets for our leopard gecko. We used to go to another place for them but the selection was bare and when it wasn't they were mostly dead in their containers. We started coming to premier and we will not go back. Healthy bugs every time! And much less expensive than their competitor. They also have taken utems that are not beneficial to reptiles and put a sign explaining the dangers of said items they removed. I really appreciate them sharing this knowledge for everyone to be aware of the most suitable options for their pets.

Really enjoy visiting a store that exudes "we love pets!" The stores are clean, well-stocked, and have a great selection for cats, dogs, and small pets. A little thin on parrot stuff, but they will order anything you want if you provide the information. I haven't seen a selection of cool dog sweaters anywhere except here! I'm glad I have a PPS in the neighborhood.

Michelle was super helpful! I went and adopted a kitten and she was kind enough to answer all of my questions as a first time cat parent, and helped me shop throughout the store and find what I needed. Great service and brought me by fur baby!!
