I cannot say enough good about B&D. They sell high quality vacuums that will last way longer than a shark or dyson or anything else you can find in a big box store. They are probably the only sales and repair for vacuums in Wayne and Monroe county anymore. It’s something to said about a brick and mortar store these days. It’s rare and is the only place you’ll find great customer service. You won’t find that at a computer screen. You’ll pay a bit more for these Riccar vaccuums, but they will last 3X longer or more than the other brands. Plus they are repairable compared to today’s brands you only find in big box stores. You will save a lot of money in the long run. I’ve dealt with salesman Ron on several occasions. He is a wealth of knowledge and a very nice man. You won’t be disappointed with B&D or their brands they sell.

I recently moved nearby and needed a belt and bags for my Oreck Vacuum. In the past I have had to order them online. After doing some home renovation I of course did not want to have to wait for delivery. After I found B&D online I went in and they had exactly what I needed. It seems like they stock a huge variety of supplies. The staff was very helpful. I will definitely return.

I stopped by the store a few minutes after 5 on a Saturday, not realizing the store closed at 5. The employee was in the parking lot getting ready to leave when he asked me what I needed and reopened the store for me. That was awesome customer service! I highly recommend this store!

Just got my vacuum cleaner back after dropping it off for repair, and after my first pass using it on dog hair littered floor I can honestly say it’s 100x better. 11/10 would recommend.

I went to the Southgate location this weekend to look at Simplicity vacuum cleaners on the advice of the guy that cleaned our carpets the week before. No pressure sales at all. They let me try and vacuums and went over the features and I ended up with a higher end model because it was $100 cheaper in the store vs. Simplicity's website. Was on sale for $50 off and he knocked another $40 off. We also bought bags to go with it. Got it home and tried it out and it lifted the carpet up and cleaned so much better than our bagless.
