Pet Supplies Plus has wonderful groomers, who are magical, and who take such good care of my dogs. However, sometimes our pups make poor choices and roll in dead fish in between spa-days, so it’s a huge relief to be able to hose them down in the dog-wash area.One thanksgiving, my dogs got sprayed by a skunk in the middle of the night. This store was open on Black Friday, and I was allowed to use the dog-wash and get advice—mostly a list of things I shouldn’t have done, but had already done—and tons of supplies to try eliminate the smell from my pups and from my house.

I have a wiggly little Maltipoo and Ashley is does a wonderful job on her! She's very patient and very kind. I'll never take my Ginger to anyone else! We are extremely pleased with Ashley's work! Highly recommend her for your dogs grooming.

I don't hold back on reviews. While it's a nice store, prices seem fair on most things, and staff are really nice, the small animal care is far from where it needs to be. Guinea pigs, ferrets, and chinchillas are all social animals. So when you can walk in and see them setting in hardly vented cages most of the time all by the lonesome it's not good. Now I understand if you have 3 and sell 2 well guess what you only have 1, I get that but when you have 2 chins in 2 separate way to small of enclosures it's not ok. The animal care here I would call sub par at best. I don't blame the employees for not being properly trained, I blame the company. Again nice store and people but some real education and animal care / quality of care needs a big revamp. Just my opinion as a small pet owner and lover.Edit to this: for some reason it won't let me reply to the owners reply so I will here. With that said thank you for the reply. I'm not sure how Male or Female owned makes a difference but I appreciate the local ownership either way! I'm happy to hear they get interaction daily that is a big thing for them but unfortunately nothing we can do as humans replaces the contact they have from others of the same kind. I'd love to reach out and chat about it. Unfortunately when I get out of work most days your closed... but we are in a lot getting supplies to so maybe that would work. Or I'd be happy to chat over email as well. Not bashing the store by any means please don't take it that way... just a big advocate for little creatures :)

Very understaffed. I needed help with something that my puppy needed post surgery so I didn't have much time. There was apparently only 1 person working who was working the register. I was ready to leave but she did come to my rescue when she was no longer cashing people out. Bless her heart, she was doing her best. It just comes down to no staff I guess

Pretty nice place I go here because I have cichlid fish and the bigger quantities of fish food you can get here they have good selections on a lot of stuff wish they had just a little bit more on fish. I love my simple creatures.

For a smaller store, Pet Supplies Plus has a very good variety of dog food, treats, toys, etc… the store has a relaxing vibe, and very friendly, helpful staff members. ( also good sales and coupons 😊)

Update- back again and happy to see that the self bathe area is still great. Well maintained for sure. Highly recommend. We bathed and dried three big dogs today in about an hour. We had been here 4 months ago and the concentrators we missing from the dryers, rendering the dryers useless. Happy to report it was taken care of and now your doggie gets dried super fast! Very nice self wash facility! Top notch. Our old girl, fresh and clean, all wrapped up for her ride home.

Prices was not acurate on flea medicine, associate did not have knowledge on the product when asked about it. And there was only 2 registers and 1 did not work. Line was long and I became annoyed waiting.

Friendly staff and large selection of pet products. They have backed let treats as well as birthday cakes for dogs. They provide dog grooming services, the ones I saw there looked really good. Great sale prices and rewards program.

My dog is big. Too big for me to get him in the bathtub at home-if he doesn't want to get in, he just doesn't. But he needed a bath badly. His feet smelled like a teenage boys and his coat has been shedding so badly. I recently learned about the self grooming stations at Pet Supplies Plus and decided to give it a try. For only $5 I was able to give Loki a professional-ish bath complete with deodorizing shampoo (provided), nice warm water, and a strong blow dryer. Of course he hated every second of it. But we left with a clean dog and no mess in MY bathroom. This set-up is great. The staff at the store was friendly and professional. We will definetely be back!!

Super friendly staff, except for the frumpy bearded guy who was a jerk. Cashier and groomers were very nice though. Self serve dog wash had warm water and plenty of clean towels.

Heidi gave our high anxiety puppy her first groom. Not only does she look amazing (with a mohawk no less!) but she was happy as can be. Definitely will return! Their prices are very fair, great hours, and fast service.

We love this place. They have everything you could ever need from a pet store. The pet wash is nice. I haven't had much interaction with employees but sometimes that isn't needed. The parking lot is nothing to run home about but shouldn't impact my review at all. Great supplies, huge variety and fast service.

Awesome store! I purchased 2 adorable parakeets and the employees were very knowledgeable and I felt at ease with my purchase. Their prices are cheaper than any other pet store around. The store is well organized with friendly knowledgeable staff!Updated and gorgeous store! Well done and great job to the owners!They will continue getting my business! Pet Supplies Plus is an awesome store! They have so much to offer different types of pets at reasonable prices. They have a dog wash/ grooming station in the back, which is great! They have rescues using a really nice area in the back to show off dogs up for adoption! Stop in and meet everyone. They’re so friendly. Overall, it's a great place to be.

Heidi in your grooming salon is the best. She is always friendly, and eager to help. She even takes a picture of Nugget and sends it to me via text. Nugget and I both love Heidi and would not go anywhere else for our grooming needs.

If I could do a 10 star review I would. Today was the first time I went to this store after having a horrible experience at a PetSmart. Well lets just say I'll be returning always to this store instead of any other store. The owner was working along side her employees. Which is a an amazing first impression. She was such a gem. They are willing to help me in finding some feeder snails for my picky little lizard. She took my number and everything. I found a can of snails to try which wasn't even offered at PetSmart. And at a good price. Thank you for coming to traverse city. I'll be telling all my friends to go to pets plus for any pet need.

Never go back.waited12 mins at cash register never seen anyone.looked down some isles didn't see anyone so I left stuff I was gonna buy on counter.i left and so did another person.thanks I'll go to pet smart for now on
