I have not personally been to Grand traverse pet SUPPLY in person yet, however speaking with the staff over the phone, was great I had alot of specific questions , she was able to answer, right away. Not at all bothered by all the information I was looking for. Until I get there in person , I rate it four stars on the account of, they did not carry much of what I needed today. I was looking for professional grooming supplies last minute locally, instead of ordering online. They do not have blow dryers, or any type of tables, or kits you buy everything individual. However they do have a large variety of shampoo and conditioner and brushes. I believe they need a website to show what all they carry. Great people .

My family and I have been going here since opened up. Very polite staff. Always eager to help. Just wondering when the store is going to open. My cats really like fussie cat wet food and they have to take medicine I use that food to mix with it.

Best place for your pets. The manager, Amber, is very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a great selection and as a plus, you don't have to go to the mall to get pet food! They have a larger selection than petsmart for organic food and always have what you need.

I LOVE this store, but you guys need to explain to the young girl working (I haven't seen her before so maybe she's new?) that saying at least "hello" to a costumer at the checkout is common courtesy. She wouldn't even tell me the price or look at me. I felt very uncomfortable like I somehow was in inconveniencing her by checking out. I'm only leaving this so you guys are aware. Every other experience has been wonderful and I've always received great costumer service! I just don't want this to hurt your business if someone new were to have a similar experience.

I'm giving this 4 stars because they are normally awesome but I'm pretty disappointed in today.. I came there twice. My fault the 1st time. I thought you opened at 9 so I went to Big Apple Bagel to eat and wait until 10. Still wasn't open at 10 and I had to get home to finish getting ready for work. I took my lunch break to come back at 4 and still not open.. sign says closed for Thanksgiving. Not Thanksgiving weekend. I'm out of dog food and wasted 2 trips here instead of going to Ace Hardware. Pets Naturally and petsmart both don't carry my brand. Overall very disappointed in the lack of communication with holiday hours and my wasted trips and now I can't get dog food until tomorrow because I work until 9pm and everything will be closed.

I have usually been very happy with the staff and products at the store. That changed today when I purchased a toy for my dog, that was recommended by the staff. I went next door to purchase a spa chemical and then decidef that it wasn't the right one. I went back to EXCHANGE it and was told there is NO returns on toys. I couldn't believe it!! I didn't purchase the toy 20 minutes earlier. Needless to say not 1 hour after the dog had the toy, he destroyed it. Was this customer service? I certainly don't think so. I sm VERY DISSATISFIED to say the least. Will I continue to shop at this store? Only if this mistakeis corrected.

This store is alot smaller than the larger chain suppliers. There very caring and knowledgeable on several types of dogs and other animals. They carry everything I need for both my dog and cat:)

Nice clean store, knowledgeable and helpful staff, high quality products. They Make you feel like your pet is family. When my older dog wasn't eating well and being finicky amber suggested a food by nutro. I thought hmmm... I doubt my dog will even eat just dry food. It was a venison base and she loved it. Started eating better, had more energy, looked better. Thank you Amber Cox and Grand Traverse pet supply!

Large selection of pet supplies. Unfortunately I haven't seen any great sales. Their pricing is competitive though. Often cheaper than the big chain store in town.

They will have everything you need from bird food to treats hand bagged for dogs and birds and cats get all the pet supply you need here at pretty good prices !

They have a great variety of pet supplies. The staff are friendly and helpful. Pets are allowed. The downside is getting in and out of the parking lot, but it isn't too bad.

Good selection of products. Mostly higher end product lines. Smaller that "big box stores". Friendly staff. I'd recommend stopping in and seeing for yourself.
