I ordered a Patty melt. The onions where perfect. Nice caramelized not limp. We will definitely be back. A nice little hole in the wall. I'm sure operating is done by the family. Support this place. Stop by for a great atmosphere, and good food. Also a nice touch with the French fries seasoning. Good flavor, but not overpowering. Like a lot of seasoned fries. We went again this afternoon. Had the same as before. Quality is still there, but a child size portion of the fries. I looked at my posting pictures just for comparison. Sizeflation I guess. Still good food.Kid-friendliness: They had a nice, kids menu. Reasonably priced.

A Gem. An absolutely amazing place with an AMAZING staff. I’ve never had a moment where I wasn’t happy with the food or the service. The food comes out EXTREMELY FAST, and is always TOP notch. I can recommend this fine establishment to EVERYONE!

Our go-to place during our stay at Hayes State Park - good food, reasonable prices, great service! We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and were not disappointed with any of it. Was much more than Coney Dogs ♥️Parking: It is a somewhat small restaurant, so when busy, the parking lot can get pretty full.

I went on Monday for dinner, they were closed. I went on Tuesday for dinner, they closed at 2:00 pm. I went on Wednesday for dinner and had the walleye. It was OK. I went on Thursday and had the fried chicken. It was by far the best fried chicken I have ever eaten! Extremely flavorful and moist. My wife and father in law had coney dogs on Wednesday and both had stuffed cabbage on Thursday and said they were great. I definitely will go back again and I will probably get the chicken.

We have dined there 5-6 time since they opened for all three meals of the day.Both Rachael, her serving help and her husband the chef are all very dedicated to serving the customer.Very broad and fresh menu!Highly recommend.Update a few months later….If you are a Friday Night Fish Fry person, there is always 3-4 fish type options plus shrimp, and hands down the best in the area!

This was my second visit. Had a great breakfast the first time with mom and dad. Today my wife and I stopped in for lunch. She had a BBQ Beef sandwich simple but tender and delicious. I had a tasty Philli cheese steak. Both served with nice hot fries. The only thing I had to ask for was Frank's red hot, I put that stuff on everything. Do yourself a favor check Rachel's out.

My wife and I have driven by this place many times and thought it was just a party store. We had lunch there today (well I had breakfast and my wife had lunch) and the food and service were both very good. No loud music in the restaurant, and no grease on the plate. The omelet, hash browns, coffee, and quesadilla were all quite good. Also, unlike most Coney Island restaurants they are open seven days--until 9:00 PM. One final note, it was nice to be at a restaurant that doesn't play loud music while you are eating. It is a good place for conversation.

After reading so many good reviews, we finally got the chance to try out Rachel's for ourselves. My husband and I took my mom there for breakfast after church. We got the last availabletable when we arrived shortly after 11am. We ordered one of the breakfast combinations (eggs, French toast and bacon), the veggie omelet and the banana pecan pancakes. Everything was absolutely delicious! We cannot wait to go back!

I would give 6 stars if possible. This is an awesome family-owned small business. The restuarant is clean and modern, Rachel was super nice and the food was AWESOME. Definitely making this the breakfast spot for our weekend getaways out here!

Our family of 6 ate at Rachel's for the first time tonight since it reopened under new ownership. The food was outstanding. I had the walleye and it was perfect. We also had salmon and a hot beef sandwich and greek salads. Our grandson had hash browns and nuggets from the kids menu but also had to have an order of the shoestring french fries which he loved. Overall not only was the food fresh and good but the service was fast and efficient. We can't wait to go again. We are local but our daughter drove 2 hours to visit and was also very satisfied. Thanks Rachel for opening your charming little restaurant. Everyone please take the time to visit and support the restaurant.Kaye and Brian Ewalt.

My wife and I went to Rachel's Coney Island after receiving many recommendations. We were greeted by Rachel and found her to be very pleasant as well as the staff. The service was great as well as the food, the place was small and very clean. We will definitely go back and highly recommend.

We have eaten there only 3 times. We have had a great experience each time. The food is fresh and prepared well. I tried her reuben sandwich and really enjoyed it. All of the breakfasts are great. 2 thumbs up!

Like a home cooked meal, it was like goin home to Indiana and eating breakfast at Mom's. Makes me remember the good times I had living there.And the service is 👍 great. And Rachel is extremely nice!

I had the Chicken Stir-Fry on January 4th. Let me tell you, I don't believe I ever had a better stir-fry. The portion was huge, with a LOT of chicken and the stir fry sauce was absolutely delicious! And it only cost $11.95!

We have eaten there multiple times. It is very clean, great food and friendly service. My husband likes the fact that you can get breakfast all day.
