We come here quite often! Good burgers, good beer, good fries, jalapeno poppers, and pickle fries, and the list goes on and on! We keep coming back!The only thing I would say in the negative is, it takes a while to get your food on a Sunday afternoon, but with that being said, they are doing the best they can with a smaller crew. And it's worth a little wait time! 😊 Can't say if it's different other times, because we've only been there on Sundays.

Great looking place, probably see's lucrative times being in such close proximity to Crystal Mountain..but this day it did not..very light crowd, and the staff seemed to be overwhelmed..the table next to us ordered a round of cocktails and the waitress stopped at the empty table next to us and actually used her fingers to pull out a few gnats that were in a mug of beer..poor guy next to us that got the beer, I just didn't have the heart to tell him..my dinner was horrible..I ordered a medium cooked burger that was more like a tire patch and smelled of one too many days in the fridge..the chips that came with the burger were bottom of the bag pieces and were stale.. when I took my first bite of the burger, the bun actually broke apart..it too was stale.. my wife ordered the taco salad bowl..stale bowl..she ordered the cheese casadilla..they used stale flour tortillas..the chewyness of it instantly gave that away.. I ordered a can of beer, it tasted like it got warm and cold several times over.. the waitress pleaded how sorry she was about the beer and brought me a replacement..it too was rank..I never complained to anyone about the food, we paid for everything, which again, because of the close proximity to Crystal Mountain resort, the bill was outrageous compared to the quality of food and service..will we ever come back in the future?..this one is a direct NO..I don't mind spending money, I just don't like throwing it away..terrible shame tho, this really looked like a nice place..in this case, the cover was better than the book.

This is some of the best bar food I've ever had! We stayed at Crystal Mnt. and because it was off-season, all their places to eat were closed.So we tried this place and came back multiple times!SO GOOD! We had The burger and beer battered fries. Fried pickles. Fried cheese triangles and the chicken wrap.Oh my YUM!!! Not one complaint! Everything was delicious!!!They have great happy hour prices.A pool table and a shuffle board table!The first time we went, we were greeted and seated very quickly. The guy who served us was friendly and informative. And answered all our first timer questions without getting huffy!The second time took quite a while for anyone to greet and seat us. Our service started off shaky. Seemed the girls wanted to hang out instead of work. But after she got it together fast and friendly.Also, there is plenty of parking around back.Can't wait to go back!

I had the nachos. Loved them. This place was so kind. We had a big group with a half of us being kids. Kids loved their food. They devoured it! Our kids were sitting in the lounge area and laughing when we were not eating, Coming to and from the table. We came right after the dinner rush for that reason. Kids are unpredictable. This place was amazing. Our kids were respectful, just a little annoying. The server was so sweet. She was a preschool teacher. So maybe that had something to do with it. She did forget our drinks at first, but we didn't mind. The kids cups were so cool. Food was great. It was a very warm and welcoming place for dinner. They were so accommodating! Will definitely come again. Just not in such a big group. Lol. For my sanity.Parking: Parking in front and backKid-friendliness: Very welcoming.

Excellent!! My husband and I brought our 3 boys here for dinner at 8pm on a Friday after a wonderful day in Emprie. There a wait for service, although the atmosphere, the staff, environment and of course the food made the wait worth it! Our home is over an hour away and we will be returning!

UPDATE!!! We have been frequenting this bar for several years now. Cathy and the crew never disappoint! SPECIFICALLY drove from Traverse City last night to listen to Drew Hale. It was a bit busier and louder than we've ever experienced, but the staff was yet again STELLAR!!! Cathy is a real treat and having the Owner (sorry, can't remember his name) was great. We LOVE this place and frequently make the drive from TC for our "date nights".Original review from July 2021: Hubs and I were out for a drive one day and wanted a good burger and a beer. Boy did we find both!! Brought our boys back and were pleasantly surprised with live music!! Highly recommend!!!

Visited 8/20/222 -It was okay. Someone with our group had a burger that was cooked raw; as in cold in the middle so that was not appealing. French Dip was mediocre. The sliced cheese they threw on the sandwich slid off the side so it made a big mess to eat. The fries were good though.The band was a bit loud. Could not hear anything other than the band. Hard to order and have any kind of conversation.But it was clean and accommodating and the service was pretty good.Would maybe stop by again for drinks but that's probably it.

My boyfriend boe and I rented a cabin right across the street from this place, and during that weekend we became “regulars” there, Cathy and Ivy were phenomenal, never had to ask for drinks! We felt right at home! Also their food was 10/10 the lady cook, I didn’t catch her name, she definitely knows what’s she doing in the kitchen!! Can’t wait to go back!
